What do I constantly find myself doing?

If I'm feeling blue and I'm either at work or home, I always find myself either watching Charah ships on YouTube or staring at pictures of Mayko Nguyen who plays Dr Sarah Truong. I really enjoy going back over the episodes when I have free time and sometimes I even video certain parts of an episode that I like so I can watch it again.

Febuwhump 2023 Day 11

Sarah let out another sneeze, dropping the tissue into the now overflowing bin that had now become a permanent fixture at the side of the bed.

She stared at the clock, the red lights showing that it was the ungodly hour of 3am.

She tried to reach for another tissue, but had miscalculated how far the box was, and she felt herself slipping off the bed. Just as she felt herself losing the small grip she had on the duvet, she felt a hand curl around her, pulling her back into the bed.

“You alright?” Charlie asked, half-awake.

“Yeah, thanks.” Sarah responded, before adding “I’m sorry for waking you up, I know you’re supposed to be up in a couple of hours.”

“No need to apologise Sarah.” Charlie said, getting out of bed to push the box of tissues back towards her, before heading out of the bedroom.

He came back a couple of minutes later, medication in one hand, a cup of water in the other, to spot Sarah tugging at her shirt (well, his shirt), their duvet now on the floor.

“Think you might need this.” Charlie passed her the cup and medicine, and then crouched down to carefully bundle the duvet under the bed.

“Think I might just go and bundle up downstairs Charlie.” Sarah said, sitting upright and placing the cup on the bedside table.

“Don’t be silly, I’m not going to let you go and sleep downstairs.” Charlie said, locking her in an embrace.

“You’re just being nice Charlie. You’re lucky you’re not ill too…” Sarah said, letting out another sneeze.

Charlie placed his hand on her head.

“Sarah you’re burning up. Think it’s best you take a couple days off…”

“Think it’s a bit too late for Donovan to find someone to cover me.”

“Trust me, it’s not. I sent a text to Donovan from your phone, and he’s agreed a couple of days off. You’re no good to anyone if you’re not at your best.”

Sarah let out a defeated sigh, knowing that Charlie was right.

“Oh, and you won’t be alone. Turns out I have a couple of vacation days to use up.”

“You don’t have to do that Charlie. I’ve had worse fevers.”

“Maybe, but this is the first one of yours that I’ve had to deal with, and I want to stay here. Let me do this.” Charlie leant in, planting a kiss.

Sarah knew that Charlie could be persistent, and regardless, she was too ill to put up much of a fight. So she nodded in agreement, dozing off.
