Celebrating Snoggletog with them

ft. hiccup, tuffnut, eret, snotlout, astrid, ruffnut

⤷ Hiccup

Hiccup would be very excited. He would wake you up with soft kisses, then he would make you breakfast and then you two would spend whole day together doing lots of different things. Like riding your dragons, snow war, building a snowman and decorating your own small tree in your common house. You would make a hot chocolate together and after that you would go ice skating. But Hiccup don't know how to do it so you would have to teach him. Which would be lots of fun! Hiccup would made a special gift for you and he spend almost six months on it.

⤷ Tuffnut

Tuff would be excited as well. He would wake you up by him singing some Snoggletog/Christmas songs. He would try to make a hot chocolate or some cookies, but he would fail. So he ask you for help which you accepted with a smile, because he did a puppy eyes on you. Then he would want to attack his sister with snow balls so he starts a snow war and surprisingly you two win. Tuff isn't one of the creative people so he tried so hard to think about special gift for you. But he probably asked Ruff for help.

⤷ Eret

Eret never really celebrate Snoggletog so I can say it was his first. And what made him more happy was that he could spend it with you. You would have to show him everything. So you two made hot chocolate and snowman. Then you went on a walk around whole Berk. Eret would ask you on lots of question like why does vikings decorating this big wooden tree and much more. Only thing he knew about Snoggletog was that you are giving and reciving gifts. So he made you something from wood.

⤷ Snotlout

Snotlout was trying all day to impress you but all he did was embarrassed himself. But it was very cute see him try. Hookfang also had a lots of fun, because he teased Snotlout and made him fail in his many attempts to impress you. But one of the things Snotlout enjoyed the most was when he gave you his gift for you. He saw small sparkles in your eyes and how happy you was. He swear himself that day, he's gonna do everything to make you smile and keep you happy.

⤷ Astrid

Astrid would make yaknog ofc! But she wanted your real opinion, because she hates when you lie to her. So when you told her it wasn't good she was little sad, but then you decided to do a small changes on it that she was happy to help you with. And after that it was very delicious. So you decided to go to everyone and serve them yaknog 0.2 and everybody loves it. She would made you a gift as well and it was one of the best gifts.

⤷ Ruffnut

Ruff would want to build a snowman with you. Like whole snowman family and after that she would want to play a snow war which we already know that she lose to Tuff. And that made her little pissed so you had to comfort her mostly with kisses and hugs. After that she would want to bake something and she doesn't care what it is. Then she would want to prank all of her friends. She just want to a lots of things with you. Her gift would be with something you love the most.

I have loved Soldier, Poet, King for years now and even back then I couldn’t help but appreciate how perfect it was for the Httyd books. I’m sure I’m not the first to point this out, but please enjoy this incredibly rough animation anyway. The amount of finesse I tried to put into this is… negligible?

yet another httyd books fic idea- we need content!! I would absolutely write it but i don’t have all the books yet :(

hiccup and his dragons from the end of book twelve gets swapped with hiccup and his dragon from book one. future!hiccup gets dropped there before the dragon training ceremony, but after he’s met toothless.

everyone would freak out because one second it’s a tiny viking kid and the next it’s a twelve year old with a crown, several scars, a slavemark, a black star and FOUR dragons, two of which happen to be seadragonus giganticus maximus’.

⤷ Hiccup

Common shower/bath; this is one of the most intimacy you could have. Hiccup loves every inch of you and your body. Hiccup come often really tired from Great Hall and he is in stress because of his chief responsibilities. So everything he want at the end of the week is you. He doesn't care what you two will do, he just wants to be with you. But you are tired as well so shower/bath is the best option. Hot trickles of water running down your aching bodies and he have you in a tight hug. Like this he is in paradise.

⤷ Astrid

Endlessly trusting each other; Astrid have trust issues like big trust issues. And I don't think that you trust everyone immediately. But what Astrid knew in this world is that she can trust you. She trust you with her life, with Stormfly, with everything she have. She knows she can come to you even with the smallest thing. She hope you trust her just as much as she trust you. She is vulnerable around you, but she knows that nothing will happen to her, because when she with you she is the happiest girl in the world.

⤷ Ruffnut

Sharing memories; She have some memories that she doesn't like talking about. These memories are embarrassing or sensitive. Some of them even Tuffnut doesn't know about. She loves be with in in a bed and just talk about everything that comes on her mind. Sometimes she got lost about what she was talking about and tell you something she doesn't want to. She get always little flustered because she doesn't want you to look at her any different. When you told her you like her no matter what embarrassing things she ever done, she was so happy.

⤷ Tuffnut

Having a humor only you two understand; this might sound stupid but let me explain. I think Tuffnut have his own humor that no one understand and he might be a little insecure about it. You know, he tell a joke but everyone are quiet and have a neutral face, maybe Ruffnut give some cocky comment about Tuffnut. But when you actually laugh at one of his jokes, his all face bright up and he showed up the biggest smile. So now he comes to you and tell you every joke he knows and he never fail with making you smile. He loves your smile.

⤷ Snotlout

Little touches; Snotlout have anxiety because of his father. And sometimes it get to the point he have anxiety attack so he needed to find a way how to calm down if one of the anxiety attack comes in front of people. When you saw that he is getting anxious you touched his leg with your pinkie and softly stroke up and down. At first he looked confused but after a few minutes he realized that he is calm now and that you helped him. Now he is always holding your pinkie or is close to you when he feels anxious.

⤷ Fishlegs

Encourage each other; Fishlegs is very excited when is a talk about dragons and he knows so much about them. He can talk whole day and night about dragons. He gets also really creative like making cards with them etc... So when you listen to him or say something interesting about them he was the happiest. He loves learning new things about dragons so you became his study buddy. When you encourage him to continue learning new things he was over the moon.

⤷ Grimmel

Protecting each other; I don't think that Grimmel have someone who truly care about him nor protecting him. When he finds that you care about him, he was really surprised. He never thought someone would care for him. So now his job is protect you with his life and your job is protect him. Fighting by his side and always have each other's back. He often thinking about how lucky he is to have you. Does he deserve someone like you? That was the question he asked himself pretty often. Spoiler alert: he does deserve you.

Elder and Big Tooth communicate just as they do in the movies; with body language!! Big Tooth is also able to understand Norse, but not speak it-- Big Tooth actually learned Norse because of Hiccup talking with his hands! The body language correlating with the words helped him to learn what the words meant! Meanwhile, Big Tooth is like the windwalker; mainly mute, and doesn't speak much Dragonese on a good day, if at all. It's alright though, since Elder can't speak it anyway. Despite the language barrier, though, Elder's nonverbal way of quietly and kindly demonstrating peace is what makes dragons so easy to open up to him.

On the other hand, Younger and Little Tooth speak to each other in Dragonese alone! Little Tooth is very, very chatty, keeping Younger very well practiced in Dragonese, (but he downright refuses to learn Norse, and any words he knows he learned against his will). Unlike his big brother, Younger is not very good at body language and gestures, needing to communicate with direct speech instead, which is what drove him to learn so many extra languages! He is fluent in Norse, Latin, French, and Dragonese, and his knack for eloquent and charismatic wording is what makes him such a good spokesperson and eventual king. His speeches can soften even the hardest of old dragon hearts.
