☆彡.。.:*・☆彡.。.:*・ Jing Yuan : approaching him when someone’s been following you
theme: sfw, first meeting
requests: open
part two
Tumblr media
You noticed them a little bit ago.
It was a nice day on the Luofu; admittedly, every day was, the fact you were staying on a ship and not a planet means a controlled temperature at all times. But you had decided to finally stock up on groceries and get some chores done, so you left your house with the market in mind. It was only a little after you had been inspecting some fruit that someone had caught your eye. They were in the background, a few feet away. A plain face in a plain setting, nothing to think about.
And then you saw them again, and again. And the fourth time, you were rightfully concerned, walking just a little faster as you crossed bridges and weaved between the traffic of pedestrians. As long as a lot of people were around you had some cover, so it wasn’t that bad. You were certain you could lose whoever was following you and they’d find some other face to fixate on. Someone who wasn’t you.
You balked when you crossed a bridge and turned a corner toward what was usually a lively street, but somehow, it was nearly barren. And when you glanced behind your shoulder, the person following you was a bit closer than you were comfortable with.
You had to do something. Turn around and confront them? Maybe, but that took a lot of confidence to pull off, and that was confidence you didn’t have at the moment. You have a little, maybe, but not a lot.
So you tried the next best thing that your panicked mind could think of, taking heed of your mothers advice that you’d been given years ago for situations like these. You paced toward the nearest group of people- a tall white haired man that seemed to be browsing tea sets at a stall and a young blonde next to him. You could only hope that they were good samaritans as you reached out, took a hand, and blended in as much as you could with two strangers.
“Is that Ginori?” You smile, looking at the tea set they were observing. “I think that would be a great choice for a new set, but you know that I prefer Meissen. Do you think they have any Meissen?”
It’s only after you spout out your random tea knowledge that you look up at the man you chose to hold hands with. That’s when you nearly fall apart. Golden eyes, angel mark, long white hair tied up with a red ribbon… maybe in your panic, you failed to recognize his uniform.
You were holding the general’s hand. Specifically, the ‘dozing general’, infamous around the Xianzhou Luofu. And his lieutenant, Yanqing, was looking at you like you’d grown a second head.
Maybe you had. You stare up at Jing Yuan and wish you were dead. Maybe facing the stalker was a better idea than this.
And yet, flawlessly, Jing Yuan looks at you with a pleasant quirk in his brow before he sets his eyes back on the display of tea ware. He squeezes your hand before he lets go, only to wrap his arm around your shoulder and nudge you into his side.
“Look, here’s a Meissen,” he smiles as he points down at the tea set, then he looks at you. “Do you think this would settle to your tastes, dear?”
You’re dead. You’re dead, you’re dead, you’re dead. You feel like your face is on fire, and the fact that you’re so clearly dying and blushing in front of the general of the Loufu makes your face feel even hotter.
“Uh, general-” Yanqing tries to get a word in before you interrupt him with a laugh, slightly hysterical.
“Yes, I like that set a lot!”
Your outburst makes you look down at the cobblestone below your feet, desperately trying to avoid Jing Yuan’s gaze. You can still feel it burning into your head, his body leaning into you. When you spare a look at his face, he’s grinning from ear to ear. Was he getting a kick out of your humiliation?
“Hm. Then it’s decided.” Jing Yuan stands up straight, looking toward the owner of the stall. “I’ll have the Meissen you have on display, wrapped, please.”
You freeze from under his arm. There’s no way he was actually buying it, right?
“Oh, but, if you don’t like it,” you speak up, watching the owner already begin wrapping the set into a box. “You really don’t have to! I’m sure your tastes are better than mine!”
“Don’t worry, it’s not for me,” Jing Yuan smiles at you. Once the box is wrapped, he thanks the owner and hands him the money. The matter is settled before you could argue any further. “Come, this way, dear.”
“Oh, I don’t think- o- okay,” with no regard to what you have to say, you’re dragged along with the general’s arm still slung over your shoulders, stumbling a step or two before keeping up with his long strides. Your eyes are wide as you keep walking with him, not knowing where you’re going, just knowing that you were… going.
Yanqing continued to follow along on the other side of Jing Yuan, and you could see from your peripheral as he peeked his head from the side and eyed you. You ignored it as best you could, feeling a bead of sweat trail down the side of your face.
But you’re keeping it cool. You’re cool. This is cool.
Jing Yuan navigates your little group for a few minutes. He walks around confidently, as if he knew exactly where he was going and where he wanted to take you (prison?!?! That’s what you worry about for a split second, before realizing you haven’t done anything wrong and you’re nowhere near the station). When he finally stops, you look around and try to recognize your surroundings.
It was… nowhere special. Just another market street, not very busy, a few people littered here and there.
“There. I don’t think anyone else should be bothering you now.”
The arm around your shoulder lifts. You can’t help the small ‘oh’ that leaves your mouth, the sudden lack of weight making you roll your shoulders. You stand up a little straighter, looking all around you again before back up at Jing Yuan. He’s smiling patiently down at you, golden eye twinkling.
Once you finally come back to reality, your hands instantly move in front of you, taking a step back as you bow. Of course he had noticed, he was the general after all. That’s why he did those things. It all made sense now.
“T- thank you so much, sir,” you thank him earnestly. “I’m sorry to have suddenly bothered you-”
To your surprise, Jing Yuan holds up a hand, stopping you completely. “There’s no need to thank me, and certainly no need for apologies. You were very smart to get help.”
“G- general!” Yanqing looks like he’s ready to burst, finally getting Jing Yuan’s attention for the first time during the whole event. “Will you tell me what’s going on please!”
Jing Yuan shakes his head, smile still on his lips as he moves his hand to Yanqing’s forehead, flicking it and making the boy yell. “You must be aware of your surroundings at all times, lieutenant. How do you expect to help our people if you cannot do that? You still have a lot to learn.” With that said, the general turns back to you. The boxed tea set is still in his other hand, which he lifts and offers to you. “Here, your Meissen.”
Oh. Oh, no. Your eyes feel like they’re ready to fall out of your head, mouth falling open to reject the general. But- but that would be rude! How dare you say no to someone like that?! But- he really didn’t need to give you this! It was so expensive!
His deep laughter snaps you out of it. “You’re cute when you’re overthinking, but there’s really no need. Consider it my own apology for what you went through today.”
He makes the decision for you as he reaches out and takes your hand, guiding you to take the gift. His hands are warm as they cup your own. “I’ll put out word for the man that was following you so he doesn’t scare anyone else. So you don’t need to focus on that. Take this instead, and make today’s memory a good one.”
“O-oh,” you have no idea what to say, words falling out of your head as you stare up at Jing Yuan. His eyes are kind and his smile is warm, and suddenly you feel like the luckiest person on the planet to have such a revered general look at you like that. His direct attention is all on you.
What are you supposed to say with all that pressure, anyhow?
“Unfortunately, this seems to be all the free time we had for today,” the general seems to leave as soon as he comes, suddenly breaking apart your contact and taking a step away. “I cannot walk you home to assure your safety, but if you would feel more comfortable, I can ask a Knight to escort you home. It’s our duty to make sure our civilians are safe and comfortable, after all.”
Ah.
And just like that, Jing Yuan’s removed all the personal touches away from your encounter. None of what he’s done for you really means anything, he doesn’t know you, and you don’t know him.
But with that alone, the way he removed himself from the equation, yet he still got you the tea set… you feel as if you’re starting to know him, just a little bit.
“I’ll be alright, but thank you for your concern, general.” Once more, you bow to him and Yanqing, holding your gift delicately against your chest. “I appreciate what you did for me.” Looking back up at Jing Yuan, you hold his eye contact, as guarded as it was with his messy bangs. “I won’t forget it. Thank you.”
Jing Yuan merely hums, smiling down at you. He nods, short and firm. “A pleasure.”
And with that, he and his lieutenant walk away. All you can do is watch as they leave, trying to remember the little details and hold onto this moment and feeling as long as you can manage. When you turn around to walk back home, groceries and a new tea set in hand, you miss how Jing Yuan looks behind his shoulder for one last look at you.

AAAAAAA ok hear me out again PLEASE SHSGDHJ
Part 2
Me brain imagining reader being yanqing’s mom… like 200 years younger than jing yuan (i guess) and this is how the found family trope starts to take turn ✨ Mara struck and abominations of Yaoshi ruined the peace held within the alchemy commission, the lively hustle and bustle of healers and vendors were suddenly cut short by the chaos caused by the monsters who did nothing else than to cause harm and wreak havoc.
As the people of the Luofu ran for safety to save themselves... you, a single mother who only wanted to buy vitamins and herbs for your baby boy, got cornered by the abominations of abundance.
Holding your toddler in your arms, you tried to shield him from the fire and hush his cries to atleast bring him a feeling of protection and safety. Slowly stepping back, you hit the wall and coughed as the smoke began to fill your lungs. You tried to cover baby Yanqing's nose but were getting weaker by the minute, the smoke almost suffocating you.
When you collapsed as you sat down, still holding him, Yanqing's cries grew louder as he tried to protect you from the monsters with his wooden toy sword (awwh 😭)
Suddenly a slash of a weapon was heard and the abominations collapsed on the ground. Relieved that you and your little boy would be saved, you tried to thank your savior as you peered through your half-lidded eyes.
Huge stature, fluffy white hair, golden eyes brighter than the sun... you fainted, only hearing the sounds of Yanqing asking the man for help and the said man trying to wake you up as you passed out.
When you wake up in an unfamiliar room and immediately sat up when you remembered Yanqing, but due to your poor condition, you ended up coughing.
"now now, take it easy"
you looked at the source of the voice and saw the general, standing by the door still holding the knob as he seemed like he was just about to enter the room.
"g-general? what's... wait, where is-" as if on cue, a certain little blonde haired boy who was hiding behind the general's legs, peeked to look at you and his eyes lit up once he saw you were awake.
"mommy!" your sweet boy ran towards you and hopped on the bed to embrace you.
you immediately checked him for any injuries or burns when the general interrupted your thoughts.
"the little man is safe, I can assure you that. I had him checked by the healers for any other health issues, thankfully he's alright and unscathed. looks like you were the only one who was in need of help" his golden eyes stares at you as you sighed in relief.
"thank the aeons..." you breathed and patted the top of Yanqing's head, smiling so beautifully. Jing Yuan found the glow of motherhood in you so beautiful and endearing that he found himself interested, chuckling at the sight of you doting on Yanqing.
As you heard his chuckles, you pulled out of your thoughts and remembered that the general is in fact inside the room... in who know's room... with you and your child...
You soon became conscious of your actions when your brain finally registered his presence so you turned your gaze to meet his, but eventually wandered as you couldn't bear to hold your gaze.
"thank you... for taking care of my son" you shyly mumble a little thanks
he laughs as he noticed the change, "relax, you've been quite through a lot maam". his gaze still bore on you, "may I ask for your name?"
you slowly look up to meet his gaze, "y/n... general"
"y/n huh..."
unbeknownst to the both of you, while you and the general were exchanging words and staring at each other's eyes, Yanqing was quietly watching it all unfold... his eyes alternately looking at you and the general in confusion, and made an unbelievable conclusion... right in front of the general so boldly.
"...are you gonna kiss?"
"Yanqing!" you sputtered
should I make a part 2 of this? hmm...

“Your eyes are so unusual.” You mutter, looking into Jing Yuan's eyes, a hand on his cheek. “What is so unusual about them?” He says it in a low tone, his eyes half closed. “They’re not like any other colour I’ve seen before." His lips twitch upward at the corner. “It’s gold; any other colour would have suited you, but gold is just perfect for you."
Jing Yuan couldn’t stop his smirk, seeing you care so much about the colour of his eyes, almost analyzing it in some way. His hand goes to lay on top of yours on his cheek, and he rubs his thumb gently on your knuckles. “You were made for me, and I was made for you." He says it in an amused tone. You blush slightly, feeling your body heat up under his gaze, before he kisses your palm.

Jingyuan has always been made of love,
And love he did from the depths of the ocean to the farthest star in the sky
Love so deep, he drowned farther and farther, inking his blood into the dark waters and the skies

Tumblr media
"oh, mimi! hi baby!" you cooed as mimi slowly strides over to you, pushing its head against your leg. it chuffs, greeting you as if you were one of its kin. "you look so happy today!" you soon sit on the ground, petting the oversized cat.
from afar stands a lone general. a general who is more than willing to cuddle with his lover but alas the beauty of his impulse buy is stealing all of your attention.
"ack- mimi, you're so big! you're gonna squish me!" the lazy cat rests on your lap, yawning. "big yawn!" you scratch its chin. mimi stretches its head back. "you're so pretty! love you so much!" you press your face into mimi's fur.
"i'm pretty too." jingyuan whines. he dejectedly crawls over to you and mimi. "what about me?" he pouts, moving to rest his head on mimi's body. he looks at you as he tries to gain your attention.
"mm, i don't know..." you pretend to think. mimi twists its body and gets up, leaving the general on the floor. you snicker, "i think mimi is trying to tell me something. what is it, mimi?" mimi spins two times before settling right by your side and laying down its head on your lap. "i think mimi said no."
"okay but you didn't say no." he sits up, moving closer to you to lean his entire weight on you.
"jingyuan!" you yelp as you're forced to lay on the ground. "stop it! you're heavy!"
"but you don't complain when mimi is laying on you!" he wraps his arms around your waist.
"mimi doesn't try to kill me with its weight!" you push your hands against his chest but this man is more than determined to get all your affection and leave nothing for his competition. "are you really jealous of a cat?"
"yes."
you sigh at his immediate answer. "can we at least lay on the couch or the bed?"
"no mimi?"
"love, mimi is more than big enough to figure out how to open a door. mimi will be breaking in to save me." you feel yourself get carried, wrapping your legs around jingyuan's waist to keep yourself steady. "mimi would never kidnap me like this."
"mimi is too attached to you." he huffed, looking down at the white lion. "i saw them first, they're mine." he sticks his tongue out. the pale lion chuffs, looking up at its petty owner. "don't look at me with them big ol' eyes." mimi chuffs again, butting its head against jingyuan's legs.
"i love mimi a normal amount."
"that's a lie."
"yeah, you're right about that. but i also love you. you really do not need to be getting jealous over a cat. mimi is just an affectionate baby."
"too late. mimi, y/n is mine." he's already running to the bed. mimi follows easily, the young cub slinks its way into the bedroom. "back! back i say!"
"jingyuan." you crossed your arms, giving him a pointed look. "i'll give your attention. don't scold mimi."
the white haired male grumbles before getting comfortable in your arms. "i'm supposed to be the one with all the attention, you know..."
"well, it's not my fault my lover bought a lion home. the least i could do is nurture the baby."
"mimi is anything but a baby."

hi misu 🫣 could i ask for hcs about jing yuan with his lion mimi… and how he’d react to us showing affection to it
jing yuan: with a reader who's close to mimi
From the first time you saw Mimi, you were immediately starstruck by her beauty and wanted to get closer to her. But of course, you couldn't simply approach her so carelessly - she’s still a lion, not a cat.
Mimi fixes you with intelligent eyes and her tail flicks while she observes you. You've been standing at the entrance of the gardens for a while, contemplating your next action.
Jing Yuan jokes that you don’t have to play mental chess with Mimi if you only wanted to pet her - and despite your survival instincts kicking in as you tried to protest, Jing Yuan took your hand in his and led you to Mimi, guiding your fingers to her fur as you marvel at how soft she is.
Fast forward months later: Mimi has essentially found a playmate in you and would playfully bump her head beneath your palm so that you could pet her. She sometimes feels smarter than an animal should be, seeming to make fun of certain… less-likable figures that visit the areas she lingers in, trying to scare them on purpose with a growl, before watching in satisfaction as they flee.
You’re playing with Mimi as usual one day when Jing Yuan arrives, though his steps are quiet enough that neither of you have noticed him yet. He sees the way you’re laughing and leaning against Mimi’s side, pointing to the sky and talking to her about the randomest things; something about the clouds and how one looks like a chicken. Mimi tilts her head at your words, ears twitching as she scrutinizes how that would be caught as food, so high up in the sky.
Jing Yuan has to stifle his laugh at the situation, his heart swelling with affection at just how good you are. How kind and warm of a person you are to have Mimi respond to you so.
They say animals are the best judge of character after all, and Jing Yuan almost wants to just stay there and watch you both for longer, admiring your peaceful smile that is often warded away by the busyness of life.
He likes seeing the type of smile you wear when you greet him as well, his name falling off your lips in a greeting that's sweeter than birdsong - but Jing Yuan wants to appreciate this little moment, first. With such a long lifespan, it's not often that time seems to slow in tranquility.
(If anyone could see his expression now, his eyes were too-obviously softened with love. Not a very good mask for someone of his status, but you tend to draw things like that out of him when you were alone.)
It makes him want to retire soon so that he could have more relaxed days like these with you, but that shall be a thought for another day. His work was not done just yet.

summertime—sweetness.
─┈ in which the cloud general of the xianzhou luofu finds peace in how you smile.
ㅤ─┈ jing yuan x gender neutral reader. a small drabble to kick start this blog!
❪⠀themes : fluff & romance!⠀❫
Tumblr media
as the general of the xianzhou luofu and the most important man present in the ship, jing yuan has always been surrounded by people who were related to his work. yanqing, his young and dutiful retainer. fu xuan, master diviner of the divination commission. yukong, helm master of the sky—faring commission.
it isn’t uncommon to see jing yuan surrounded by extremely important people; asides, when he’s leaving work to find a good place to nap. the general of the xianzhou luofu is also a member of the seven arbiter general of the cloud knights and the six charioteers.
what was uncommon, though, was to see jing yuan be accompanied by a perfectly normal person that resided in the xianzhou luofu. commonfolk would clamor you once the general left your side to attend his duties, questioning why the ever so elusive and mysterious cloud general spend time with you.
though your answer— “he finds my presence enjoyable! we play chess often.” — would often leave them unsatisfied, only jing yuan would be able to answer that. perhaps fu xuan too, if she dared to rely on her divination. she wouldn’t, though. not after jing yuan himself warned her not to.
jing yuan found peace in your smile.
the first time he saw you smile, he was out with yanqing, surveying the busied streets of the ship. people parted for the general, offering their respects and well—wishes, which he was immensely grateful for. no matter how many times the people in the ship thanked him, jing yuan found it heartwarming all the while.
and yet—nothing could quite compare to your smile.
optics of molten gold catches sight of your smile—his eyes, ever so charming yet meticulous, hidden behind curtains of white. the cloud general found himself stunned; rooted to the spot, as he gazes at your smile. perhaps for others, it was another smile in the sea of other smiles, but it was different for the dozing general.
he finds himself drawn to it—to the way your eyes sparkled slightly in the sunlight, how your smile made the corners of your hues crinkle. the full cheeks, dusted by roses blooming ethereally, partnered with the soft laugh you let out—his favorite melody, unbeaten.
it was not a question of “why?”, but a statement of “because.”
why was jing yuan drawn to you? because he found your smile utterly captivating, he loves seeing you smile, he loves hearing you laugh—like the first taste of iced cold tea after a long day of training, akin to the sweet—sourness of lemongrass steeped into it. or, maybe even the first beam of sunlight after tedious cold nights. if jing yuan was a retired soldier who became a poet, he’d compare your smile to the first glances of light after a long battle, to the glow of a healer’s ability after suffering from an arduous wound.
for jing yuan, your smile was light itself; and as the cloud general of the xianzhou luofu, he found peace in it.

FOUND FAMILY TROPE
⇀ tags ; fem!reader, developing relationships, found family, reader is yanqing's mom, jing yuan being a bit emo, slight angst, fluff, happy endings!
⇀ note: here's part 2, sorry it took a while sdjhfjh
part 1
jing yuan never liked the quiet, but he doesn't hate it as well.
sometimes, to him, it's peaceful. the gentle rays of sunlight slowly making its home in his abode, the gentle rustle of the wind, curtains fluttering from the gentle breeze, and the chirping of those tiny little finches that seemingly found comfort in his windows.
but sometimes, it's unsettling. his abode is far too huge for his liking. far too big that despite his huge stature... it makes him feel so small. the quiet seems to haunt him, its silence deafening. The halls are way too quiet, every nook and cranny - every room he barely used...
he was never used to the quiet, never ever got used to it. to jingyuan, the silence was a hard pill to swallow - one that haunted him, one that enables the lonely thoughts and regrets he has in his head. to him, it's a terrifying gamble. one that he doesn't risk, and a risk he doesn't want to take.
yet, he doesn't like the noise either. not when the screams and cries of his people fills the air, not when his friends mourn for their lost friend, not when the final verdict was placed, and not when their hatred and vengeance spoke louder that it drowned the voices of their joyful laughter.
not when chingzu scolds him for the nth time for setting his duties aside, not when fu xuan complains about his sleepiness, and not when another trouble arises in the luofu.
but then suddenly... the noise doesn't seem to be as unbearable as before. when he met you, as cheesy as it sounds.
"yanqing! don't run too fast!" you scolded as yanqing continued to run away from you, laughing and giggling as he played in the general's garden. you sighed in defeat and placed your hands on your waist.
the general chuckled, "it's fine y/n, let the little man play to his heart's content. I don't mind at all"
"you spoil him a bit too much, general. i'm afraid he'll get more and more demanding" you let out a small laugh.
the quiet was slowly filled with noise, ones that came from you and your son... ones that echoed through his oh so empty halls, ones that vibrated through his walls, ones that filled his abode with the color of your tone, ones that replaced the seemingly monochromatic energy of his own home... and ones that he always looked forward to hear in the mornings, afternoons, and nights.
the way you and yanqing would greet him with a sweet "good morning, general!" was something that brought warmth and comfort to his lonely heart. something that gives him peace as you began to serve breakfast on the table with yanqing helping you set up the table...
the way you would sing your lullabies to lull your son to sleep, the way you would hum as you cook in the kitchen, the way you would read yanqing bed time stories, and the way you keep him entertained with your company by telling random stories and tales about yourself...
these are the moments and memories he forever wants to keep - ones that he never intends to sacrifice. one that he will forever engrave and etch on his heart and mind, body and soul.
but then suddenly, the silence doesn't seem to be as unbearable as before. as he watches you and yanqing sleep.
the corner of his lips twitched upwards and turned into a warm smile as he observes the mother and son duo sleeping about in the garden without a single care in the world. your forms are relaxed, the children's book in your hand slipping out of your grasp, your arms wrapped around yanqing as he sleeps on your chest, and the soft snores you both let out wasn't something he was able to miss.
and suddenly, jing yuan hated to not hear the quiet.
"general, you've done enough for me and yanqing throughout my whole recovery. i'm truly grateful for your kindness and care, which is why I think it would be best not to further burden you anymore with our situation as I have recovered” you said with an almost disappointed and apologetic smile, and jing yuan froze in place.
“I already told you, I don’t mind at all as long as you have fully recovered. that would be the only favor I ask of you in return” he said, trying to convince you while trying to mask his desperation
“you’re too kind general, truly. I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay just because of my son’s insistence and tantrums…”
jing yuan could have left you both to the care of the healers of the alchemy commission after he had rescued you and yanqing… but the little man’s cries of fear and worry over his mother made it hard for him to leave. so he held him close, and chose to look after him until you wake up because yanqing who found comfort in the general’s presence - doesn’t want to part with him.
jing yuan could have agreed without any hesitation to your offer, he could have allowed for you to leave his home… but he got so used of your presence that it made it hard for him to agree. those moments where he feels himself truly relax in his abode, the fact that he have someone to come home to… for him to keep on bearing the burden and weight on his shoulders, for everything to be much more bearable than before…
he couldn’t bear coming home to an empty house anymore, where only silence and noise greets him in mockery.
and suddenly, jing yuan hated to silence the noise
as you filled the empty rooms and spaces in his abode, leaving your mark on every corner of his home… driving away the silence that haunts him as he hears your skittering and humming in the kitchen while making dinner, as you read your bedtime stories to your son, as you sing while taking your sweet time in the shower…
for once, jing yuan felt fear.
for once, he lets himself be selfish.
“…I plan to take yanqing as my apprentice” your jaw drops.
“g-general? what are you- that’s too much to ask of you!” you exclaimed.
“the little man wants to become a cloud knight does he not? I don’t see the problem with that” he said with his familiar smug and relaxed demeanor.
“but yanqing has not made any feats worthy of him being your apprentice! general, I ask you to please reconsider”
“I disagree, I see great potential in him and I have no doubts he will reach great heights and perform great feats… I only wish to nurture his talent at a young age” he stepped towards you.
“there are plenty of spare rooms for us to make use of… and I don’t mind you using them. so fret not.”
maybe, this is his way of asking you both to stay. as you look in his eyes, he looks at you with such gentleness… desperation… and longing. for once, the general looked truly lonely, but he couldn’t be anymore sincere of his feelings.
and maybe, just maybe… you might give in to his wishes too.
sksjdh finally complete, sorry it took so long 😭 I don’t know if I did well in writing part 2 but this is the best that my brain could think of 🥹
should I do a part 3 as well??

He’s marrying you for sure; your cooking is just an added bonus for him, like refusing to eat when your relationship started since you made him lunch boxes that tasted way better.
He’ll help you cook or bake whenever he has a day off, no matter what he’s going to do! Need to pick up things at the store? It’s a little chilly out today; he’ll go in instead.
Gepard wearing a button-up shirt and one of your pink aprons, hair a bit messy since it’s his day off and he couldn’t care enough to fix it while helping you mix things, you can’t help but laugh.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
“Thank you for helping Gepard,” you smile while mixing the bowl of cake batter in your arms with Gepard's other bowl of batter.
You were planning on making a two-layer cake, and lucky enough, Gepard had a day off, wanted help, and also spent time with you. “It’s no problem at all,” he smiled back at you, his eyes sparkling at you.
when you have both finished the batter, pour it into the two of the round pans and put it into the oven. As you sigh, you put the last pan in the oven and turn around to take off your apron, with Gepard taking off his.
“You didn’t need to help me, since it's my day off,” you say, cleaning up the mess with a rag before Gepard stops and takes the rag from your hands.
“I wanted to; you go and take a rest," he says, smiling gently at you. Even if it’s his day off, he wants you to relax since you go out on your day to make things for him to be lucky enough to try.

Whenever you go to the fight club to give him something to eat after his match, he picks you up, spins you around, and thanks you for caring enough to come here.
But you should be careful if any sweaty and mean guys see you; they might fall head over heels for beauty and try to steal you away from you but don’t worry, he’ll be there to protect you.
And he takes you out of the fight club so you can share with each other; mind you, his nose has been bleeding the whole time, and he pretends he’s fine.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
“You really made me lunch,” Luka said with blood coming out of his nose, yet he had a bright smile on his face.
"Luka, your nose is bleeding?" You worried, grabbing his chin to see if there were any more marks on his face, but you saw no major bruises or scratches anywhere on him.
"Don't worry, nothing's broken,” Luka reassures you. You hand him the lunch, go into your pockets, grab a handkerchief, then place it over his nose and wipe the blood.
He grabs your wrist, gently holding it after you clean the blood dripping from his nose. "Thank you", he says, smiling at you. “Be more careful, Luka,” you lecture.
"I'm fine. Come one, let’s eat before it gets cold!" He insisted, "Okay, okay," and you laughed lightly.

He adores you so much, his girlfriend—you spend your precious time making meals just for him! He’ll eat anything you’ll give him since everything is like your hands were blessed.
He might as well kiss your hands as heavenly, just as your beauty is.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
While you were putting hot dishes that came from the oven onto the dinner table, any minute Jing Yuan would come back home, the sound of the front door opening would tell you that he was home.
huge smile on his face as he hugs you. “How is my beautiful girlfriend doing?" Jing Yuan smiles and kisses your cheek. "Good, but you seem to have had a good day." “My day is always amazing when I see you."
You laugh and hug him tight. “Come on, Jing Yuan, sit down; it will be no good if everything goes cold.” You smile at him as Jing Yuan looks at the table.
“You’ve made quite a lot enough for the whole village to eat; how shall I eat all of that?" Jing Jing Yuan jokes, “If there are leftovers, I’ll pack them for Yanqing to eat.” You hum as Jing Yuan sits down, and you do the same and start eating the dishes you have made.

"jingyuan."
"yes?" he smiles so innocently that you want to punch and kiss him.
"please tell me why mimi is in the middle of the bed." the mentioned lion cub (yes, cub, supposedly 2 years old now despite its large growing body) rolls against the fluff of the comforters and looks at you with those baby eyes.
"mimi just wants some love from its parents." the lazy general cooes, scratching under the chin of the snow lion. you want to be frustrated, but you really can't bring yourself to be mad. "come on, dear. mimi loves us."
you take a moment to look at the "housecat" who looks at you before chuffing. you reach a hand to give mimi the attention it silently demanded. it licks your hand affectionately and lets you pet its head. "oh mimi, you're so lucky your father is such an affectionate idiot who can't say no to you." you hummed. "maybe he's just an idiot in general." you snicker as mimi rubs its head against your arm. mimi chuffs as if to agree with you.
"i feel like i'm being left out..." jingyuan whines, trying to win your affection just as much as mimi is. his hands gently brush against your waist, tugging you closer to his chest.
"you are. relationship ended with you. i'm taking the kids." you joked, kissing the top of mimi's head. "yanqing would love to stay with me."
"yanqing clings to you, of course he would stay with you."
"wonder where he got that from." you place your hands over his, patting them. "perhaps from his clingy adoptive father?"
"we all love you. you deserve it." his lips press against your shoulder. "let's sleep. come on, mimi. off the bed." mimi makes no move to get off. "mimi..."
"mm. it's okay. mimi can stay." you move to hold mimi in your arms as you lay down.
"but what about me?"
"there's still room."
"but i want to cuddle."
"unlucky, to be honest."
ah yes. jingyuan, his s/o, and their 200-pound snow lion, mimi.
