Y'know sometimes I wonder: If everyone just drew fanart of the sisters of battle, howling banshees, etc. with proper non-boob armor to the point fans associate it as the actual design. GW might get swamped with so many complaints about "why did you change it" "what happened to the slightly curved/angled chest plates" that they'll actually at least consider changing it.
Given, howling banshees do fit men with boob armor so they at least have consistency between genders.

Eldar Howling Banshee Aspect Warriors, easily the most hyped and worst unit in the Eldar army. I bought these ladies probably 24 years ago, used them in a few games with disastrous consequences, then put them in storage and forgot about them. I looked them up in the 9th version of the 40K rules, still stinkers with limited potential. I’ll paint them anyways as the purpose of all this is finishing off old projects. They’ve got a start for a color scheme and I plan to keep their color palette small like I did for the Wraithguards.
A nice small palette; I’m using Privateer Arcane Blue for the main body, with Privateer Pig Iron for some metallic bits high on the back and the mouth part of the mask, and my favorite Privateer paint: Brass Balls for weapons, gems, studs and mask bits. Citadel colors are: Abaddon black for the face, Mephiston Red for the helmets sashes, and some gems, Mournfang Brown (warm) for the holster and strap, Doombull Brown (dark) for the hair base and Balor Brown for the hair highlights.
Maybe they'll work better now that they're painted. I'll have to see what 10th edition has for them next month.

First Howling banshee done :) these guys are gonna go in the wave serpent
I just need to base them and I'm thinking of redoing the sword sometime but otherwise I'm quite happy with this one!
I ran them in a game last weekend but they kept dying after their first round of attacks :/ I gotta figure out how to keep them alive before next time.

Mini painting today! A proxy model for an Aeldari Howling Banshee Exarch. It ended up a tiny bit bigger than a normal tabletop model but Im already printing a whole squad in the right size.
