As long as your target keyword is placed in your H1 title, H2 header, meta description, URL slug, and in the introduction of your blog content, you don’t have to worry about hitting the 0.5% - 2% keyword density.

Just to clarify my thoughts (since I've had a number of people ask me about it) re: Job and cursing God. There's a big difference between cursing God as used in Scripture and how we generally would think of cursing at God today.

Cursing someone, in the Bible, has a lot of depth to it. It's not just saying "screw you " in anger, it's got a sense of forsakenness to it. It's the opposite of a blessing, a removal of blessing. If the blessing is presence, your face shining on the person you're blessing, then a curse is absence. In some translations, Job's wife tells him to "renounce God and die," which I honestly think makes a lot more sense to modern ears.

Job says a lot of unpleasant things to and about God in his anger and grief. So do the Psalmists. A number of the Prophets. So can we. God can take it if we come to him with honest expressions of our emotion, including those not-so-nice ones directed at him. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting mad at God and saying, "How dare you, you bastard" when you suffer unjustly. You can say much worse, I think, without sinning, though I don't feel particularly inclined to give examples. But as long as it's an honest expression of your heart, I think you're doing exactly what prayer is for. You're presenting him your heart with an open hand. He can use that. Opposite of love is not hate but indifference, etc.

Job doesn't renounce God. Neither should we. But I think when you're truly suffering, you're gonna have those feelings toward God either way. He'd rather you address them with him directly than try to avoid them. Cursing at God in the modern sense is actually a great way to keep the relationship strong and not end up cursing/renouncing him in the Biblical sense.

#i did try to draw that distinction in the original post but I didn't really go into detail #mostly bc i was trying to be concise and just focus on how the church talks to sufferers #so here's the long version #pontifications and creations #only thou art holy #also side note: there was someone yesterday who responded to that post with the suggestion that suffering is generally the sufferer's fault #and it got worse from there #just an absolutely rank response that had me immediately blocking that person and googling if there was a way to remove someone's addition #idk to what degree that person is an active member of this broader christian community we've got going on here #but if you see that post (and you'll know it when you see it) please as a favor to me don't interact with it #there were some lovely responses and additions to that post yesterday too #but that one made me mad #idk. to a certain degree i wanted to vent #they're blocked now though so whatever #anyway. I've sort of been percolating on these various thoughts for a few weeks #since i went to a really fluffy women's talk on suffering #and now i kind of want to give my version #I'm far from the greatest sufferer in the world. i am well aware of that #but as I've been sick I've just done So Much Thinking and reading about theodicy and struggle with God that i feel qualified to opine #unlike the giver of that talk #anyway #tag rant over #...for now #theodicy

#google says itd be something like i fuck up on the final stretch but it doesn't exactly convey the same emotions idk #anyway!#had a wonderful streak with 1. passing the most infamous course in the entirely of the civil engineering studies (the one about concrete)#and 2. ended up high enough on the ranking list to get the scholarship #and just now i remerkably fucked up the test from differential equations #the thing was online and i could use whatever i wanted so i prepared all the notes and shit and was rather optimistic #but i forgot that i have zero gacha luck #and obviously out of 3 problems to solve i got two that i had no clue how to do nor did any of the people from the study group ever shared a #solution to equations like that #so yeah 👍#well whatever i just need to redeem myself in the next test and i think i'll manage to pass the course #and if my nonexistent gacha luck strikes in the test no2 as well there's always kolokwium poprawkowe at the end of the semester<3 #gosh in so tired i need a nap #and then I'll need to wake up to do the report for hydrology labs man i despise that course with burning passion #if anyone's considering studying civil engineering it's a devil talking don't go that way

Hmm. I am rotating arospec Wolfe around in my brain and my conclusion is that he's sexually attracted to men (and potentially women, stormcrow is vague like that) and romantically attracted to Santi and Santi only. By the time he meets Santi he knows that men... you know... tempt him, but he doesn't feel romantic attraction and he's too smart for that anyway. Then he goes to Russia and there's this cute Lieutenant and oh no, now he does feel romantic attraction.

I also like the idea that, even if the great library characters had our modern terminology available to them, Wolfe just wouldn't label his orientation beyond "somewhere on the aromantic spectrum." He doesn't usually feel romantic attraction, he's in love with Santi, and anything beyond that is just not important.

Sometimes at work I just want to pull a Clippy and be like, "it looks like you're trying to test this patient for vitamin D deficiency! I say that because the diagnosis code you used is 'Screening for Vitamin D deficiency'! But the test you asked for is Vitamin D dihydroxy (not to be used for vitamin D deficiency screening). Did you mean to ask for the much more common and less expensive test, Vitamin D 25 hydroxy, instead?"

But no, we're not supposed to fill out a follow up request if a doctor explicitly asked for the test, which they did.

Hey, this is a great example how American healthcare is wildy inefficient and riddled with errors!

#seriously sometimes I'm just like...do these doctors know what they're doing? Or even care #Like it clearly says this test is only going to give accurate results if the patient fasted first and it says here the patient didn't fast #So why are we doing this?#Did you just feel like checking boxes off on the form for extra tests would make you feel more thorough?#Best case scenario you just wasted time and resources #Worst case you get a reading that is misleading because you didn't perform the tests in the right conditions!#And then there is the doctor who keeps trying to get us to test for bacterial vaginosis from blood samples. ...#How...do you think the vaginal infection...is in her blood?#Or do you think lab tests are like palm reading or something and you can figure it out mystically from a separate bidy system?#Forget google reviews they need to develop a ranking system for doctors based on how often their paperwork gets flagged #by the laboratories for errors #Thank goodness I have insider knowledge know and the next time I pick a doctor #It'll be one whose office staff knows how to centrifuge their blood tubes properly #If your attention to detail is lacking when handling the precious sample that is blood then where else are you making mistakes?
