It’s a new year and I haven’t posted about my writing projects on here for a while. #HorrorFromTheHighDive Volume 1 is a collection of horror short stories (and one spooky poem) by some great established and up and coming writers. A zombie outbreak at a community pool (that one’s mine could you guess?), a creature in a lake who is very hungry, a school for children who can’t sleep, a “fangirl” who takes her fandom too far… and other tales of fright. @highdivepublishing is looking for stories for Volume 2, if you have one or know someone who might be interested DM @highdivepublishing or email HighDivePublishing at gmail dot com The second volume will be out this year. #horroranthology #shortfiction #horrorcommunity #shorthorror #shortstories #🧟‍♂️ #indiepublishing https://www.instagram.com/p/CYVcXNuLSWP/?utm_medium=tumblr

The lists no one asked for 2021! #Books📚 #Chesapeake by #JamesMichener was one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. I checked out a collection of poems because I’m super deep. I read a few horror anthologies to make sure #HorrorFromTheHighDive is the best that it can be. #TheShining and #DoctorSleep were a classic and a relatively new #StephenKing work and I enjoyed them both a lot. #HowNotToDie is a great tool. #PermanentMidnight is a pitch black memoir. #TheShards is the latest work by #BretEastonEllis and so far only available via audiobook on his #patreon. It was a wild ride. And I reread #TheStranger by Camus, an existential beach read about a fella who gets in some trouble at the beach. #booklist #2021list #bookish #bookstagram #📚 #booksreadin2021 https://www.instagram.com/p/CYKf6DEviPI/?utm_medium=tumblr
