Slept til noon, had some nasty dysautonomia, ran tech support through the whole house so my folks can keep up with the 21st century, emptied my attic of childhood treasures—lots of Pokémon, to no one’s surprise. * I have such a weird quavering attachment to my childhood home, site of so much trauma and anxiety, yelling and early-stage skin infections: the bloomings of my chronic illnesses. To stumble upon five inches of snow in my elevation-zero home town is a treat: empty roads, everything locked down like a bunker, Me, armed with weird hair and Tramadol, stealing expensive body care from a former downtown workplace. * Molly (doggo) showed me how to find artifacts hidden somewhere unspoken; for her, a purple bear, now devoured beside her bed.
