Random Ranger Moments; Smoothies (Jaya vs The Blender)

All Haven and Andy wanted to do was make some smoothies...apparently, nobody has warned Jaya that the technology in 2019 is still....loud.

"I think this calla for smoothies!" Haven declared, clapping his hands for emphasis, "and flavor-inspired by our new color fetishes-"

"THEY'RE NOT COLOR FETISHES, HAVEN." Billy cried out, rubbing his temples with one hand, glasses gripped in stress in the other. Haven shrugged and draped an arm over Andy's shoulder.

"what..." The new white ranger questioned carefully.

"...you can't have coconuts...because you'll keel right here so...maybe just a glass of milk for you?" Haven suggested.

Andy blinked down at his friend, then blinked looking out into space.

"I cANNOT BELIEVE YOU-"

"He can have something with vanilla!" Jaya chirped happily from their place, sitting on the counter next to their Uncle Trip.

Both twins let out a dry, loud, singular cackle and Andy sighed.

"NOW WHAT?!"

"oh nothing, just 'Andy' and 'Vanilla' in the same sentence...mm funny." Hunter replied, not even bothering to look at his playfully irritated friend.

Adam winced as he looked through Andy's cupboards for the blender, turning around briefly to speak,

"Listen, I'm a chill guy. I'm pretty laid back on conversation topics, but can we not go there?"

"Thank god you're a Shaolin coach and not the Sex Ed teacher, huh?" Molly questioned.

"CAN WE MAKE THE DAMN SMOOTHIES?!" Andy wailed, desperately trying to get off such a roast-able topic. Adam finally found his blender, smiling as he placed it on the counter.

"wow look at that old thing, Jaya! We sure have come a long way in 3018 huh?" Trip laughed watching Andy plug it in.

"It's cute and vintage! But hell if i know how to use one that's this old..." Jaya squealed, hanging themself over Andy's shoulder. Andy smiled softly as a small shade of pink dusted over his cheeks. "I'll make a smoothie with you, what do you want in it?" He offered. Andy watched as Jaya looked over the fruits and such with sparkling green eyes and a bright smile, he couldn't help but smile in awe at the pure happiness radiating from Jaya as they picked up a handful of Kiwis.

"kiwi! It's my favorite!!" Jaya beamed.

"mm, kiwi with some greek yogurt anndd...how about strawberries?" Andy suggested, pulling a bowl of strawberries away from Tatiana.

"Excuse me, you hoe. I was eating those." She huffed.

"TATI, THEY'RE FOR THE SMOOTHIES." Andy whined.

"Listen, Romeo; I don't stop you from reading in Dr. Cranston's class, don't stop me from this." Tatiana retorted, plucking another strawberry from the bowl.

"You know who else likes, Strawberries-"

Tatiana cut Haven off as she chucked a chunk of pineapple at him glancing over at Ashlyn, "Down demon."

"I'm not the demon here, just saying." Haven retorted as he caught the flying fruit. "yuck, pineapples..."

"you sir, have no taste." Andy starts with a cheeky grin, "Plus remember that pineapples make-"

"ANDREW FUCKING HU, YOU STOP RIGHT THERE!" Tatiana shrieked.

"GUYS CAN WE NOT GIVE TATIANA A PREMATURE HEART ATTACK?!" Ashlyn pouted, wrapping her arms around Tatiana's shoulders.

"I think you're giving her one right now." Molly teased, "She's all blushy and red~"

"ANDY SEE WHAT YOU STARTED?!" Tatiana wailed, hiding her face with her hair.

"Awh, Tati~ you're so cute, hm?" Ashlyn cooed, booping her nose.

Andy cackled at Tatiana's bright red cheeks as he poured a decent amount of the yogurt into the blender before placing the lid on.

What happened next, was definately unexpected.

With the push of a button; the blender came on, the loud whirring filling the room...along with Jaya's terrified screech.

Andy blinked, looking at them with concerned eyes as he pressed the button again, turning it off. The screams ceased. Cautiously, Andy turned the blender on again...

Jaya began screaming....again.

Andy shut the blender off....again.

Jaya was silent....again.

"Do...do you guys not uh, have these anymore in 3019...?" Haven asked, watching the Xybrian glare at the blender.

"WE HAVE BLENDERS, FOOL BUT THEY DON'T SOUND LIKE DEATH MACHINES." Jaya retorted, turning to Trip, "UNCLE TRIP I WANNA GO H O M E."

"N-now now...it's alright...I forgot to mention 2019 is...loud..." Trip sighed, hopping down from the counter to sooth the frazzled family member.

"Baby we've never been to 2019, this is our first time here..." Katie sighed, joining Trip in the little hug.

"EUGH B-BABE. L-LUNGS."

"HMFGH A-AUNT K-KATIE....H-HUG...S-STRENGTH...AI-AIR!!" Jaya wheezed. Katie quickly dropped Trip and Jaya, smiling sheepishly.

Andy laughed, ruffling Jaya's green locks, "Is Katie that strong?"

Trip stepped aside, allowing Katie to come up and hug Andy, letting him find out for himself.

"oH GOD- HNSGHS LUNGS, L-LUNGS! I T-TAP OUT!!" He coughed, clutching his chest when she let go. "D-damn...you really are super strong..."

"Maybe we should just go buy smoothies at Ernie's..." Haven hummed, chewing his cheek.

"Yeah, maybe...Maybe while you're there you can finally ask Sam on a date, huh?" Ashlyn smirked, watching him stumble in place.

"S-SHUT UP, OKAY!?.....SHUT UP." He retorted.

"you know what i think Ernie's is a fantastic idea. We get smoothies and we get to watch Haven forget what human function is for the duration we're there...." Molly practically sang, tone full of mischief.

"Maybe we'll all have to have a spontanious, celebratory pool match as well..." Hunter added, a dark grin crossing his face as his twin went ghost.

"To Ernie's!!!" Tatiana cheered, leading the group out of Andy's kitchen, leaving Haven stammering.

"H-HEY C-COME ON...GUYS...WAIT- DAMNIT "
