I found something (or someone) really cute. Who might this be? According to Messy Nessy she’s “America’s Forgotten Pin Up Girl.” Hilda is a plus-size pin up girl from the ‘50’s, illustrated by Duane Bryers. Hilda is known (by very few) for her beautiful curves, natural clumsiness, and her strong confidence. She’s usually pictured in (the cutest) daisy bikini or red onesie.
I don’t know much else but I thought I ought to share some cute photos I could find!

King Dice with an insecure Chubby s/o Hcs:
When it came to his preferences in romantic partners, King Dice never had a specific body type in mind for them. After all, anyone who manages to worm their way into his heart is held in high regard.
So when you entered his life, form soft and plump, Dice had been far more taken with your smile and your wit to pay your extra weight any mind. Hell, why would a few extra pounds bother him? You were already so accepting of his faults and made him happy-- it’d be hypocritical of him to nitpick possibly one of the best things he has going in his life.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean your boyfriend didn’t notice how your eyes dimmed slightly at the sight of your reflection. It’s enough to form a dull pang in his chest and a concerned frown pull at his lips.
Words of comfort aren’t exactly his field of expertise. More often than not, the die reassures you by reminding just how beautiful you are to him in other ways,
He goes out of his way to gift you clothing tailored to hug your body in just the right ways; the fabric is soft and rich as it shows off the thick curves of your legs and hugs your chest nicely. The die happily provides you any pretty clothes you want, so long as he's the first to see you wear them.
Any doubts you may have about your outfit quell when you notice your taller boyfriend drinking you in with flushed cheeks and a sharp intake of breath. He definitely likes what he sees.
He’ll casually look through the old art books from his study and linger on the pages showing off the elegant oil paintings featuring plus-sized models splayed out-- every stomach crease and pudge captured with loving reverence. Occasionally, he’d point out a model that reminded him of you-- even going as far as to (semi) jokingly offer to have your portrait painted for his office.
You only manage to catch on that Dice isn’t opposed to the idea when you found him staring rather intently at a centerfold featuring a chubbier model. He had looked up in surprise, met your own eyes, and flushed brightly before coughing into a gloved fist.

King Dice will instantly shut down anyone who even tries to insult you. A single warning glare is all they’ll get before the die gives them a verbal smackdown. He won’t tolerate anyone tearing you down—even yourself.
