Does ikuna have any relationship with her junior especially the 5th grade and 4th grade kunoichi?

Yep she have, she actually close with 3rd grader, and 1th grader both male and female student. She's are not that close with 5th grade kunoichi but they can get along well

Ikuna close with senju and Hiiragi the most from 4th grade, she close with senju because she really impressed by senju talent in dye cloth and design it, ikuna have ask her many time to join sewing committee but senju just rejected her everytime (i mean senju help them if they ask too but join the committee?? Nuh uh) lil funfact Senju once gifted a same hairpin like her to Ikuna except the color of the hairpin is inspired from monarch butterfly.

She close with Hiiragi because Hiiragi is the Youngest chairman rn, whenever there's a budget meeting or any meetings that requires all the chairman and vice chairman Ikuna will stand close to Hiiragi (in protective way because she worry about Hiiragi smh)

Your Our of Touch, Why is no one talking about Lucky Star?

Warning, this is a long discussion about a 19 year old Manga, it’s current possible relevance in 2023. As well as the thoughts on how shippers from back in the year 2000 could possibly influence an upcoming manga.

I assume many of you by now are familiar with the Out of touch Thursday meme, for the few of you who are confused by what I mean exactly, it is this.

The song, is Out of Touch by Hall & Oates, released October 4th 1984, the animation however is from the opening of anime called Lucky Star. The song playing in that opening being “Motteke Sailor Fuku“ with what I can seem to find being tied to multiple artists, most likely the song was created specifically for the anime.

And it’s Lucky Star I wanted to talk about more than anything, because I’ve had thoughts running through my head that I simply, could not get out and needed to talk about them somewhere, so you all shall be my victims. But some context for the generations of people who people who were born long after this anime reached it’s peak. Luck Star was a Slice of Life, Comedy manga written and illustrated by Kagami Yoshimizu. The manga focused on four High School girls, Konata Izumi (Blue Hair) a short pervy Otaku girl who likes teasing people, especially her friend Kagami. Said Kagami Hiiragi, (Purple hair twin tails)  a I’m not a tsundere intellectual girl, who is prone to anger and violence. Tsukasa Hiiragi, (purple hair with bow) Kagami’s younger twin sister, who is naive, sweet and just an overall ball of sunshine and finally the well endowed Miyuki Takara (Pink hair), who is the incredibly smart girl who makes poor and dumb decisions. With a larger cast built up of friends, relatives and other characters, who all do day to day life in comedic ways or funny observations. In 2007 the manga would be adapted to an anime that would last for 24 episodes and two OVAs. And it along with the Anime adaptation of Azumanga Diaoh would basically become the meme farm for many anime and Manga enjoyers on the internet

But more important than the memes were the ships, or in this case THE ship. Like the case with most all girl anime shows there were lesbian ships, but none to the extent of Konata and Kagami. Like if you were in the lesbian anime scene when you were young, this ship was everywhere.

Official Anime promotional Art, Merchandise, Fan-fiction, Doujinshi, offical art by the Mangaka and much more, heck this ship was so well known about by the creators that this happened in one of the OVAs.

But now I imagine most everyone is probably wondering, what is the point? Why bring up an old manga and anime just to talk about a super old ship from the early 2000′s with characters that despite being 18 years of age are drawn like they are still 15 or so. Well, Luck Star the anime ended before the Manga did. Finishing roughly around Volume 4-5 with certain details omitted either for time or cost cutting methods, ended the series with a meta fourth wall breaking episode. While the manga continued with 3-4 more volumes, ending at Volume eight. And the series creator would go on a hiatus. An Eight year Hiatus, because, Lucky Star, is back, Volumes 9 and 10 have very recently released...(In Japan), but more interestingly than that, was what was announced in 2022, in the third volume of Mitaina! magazine. There is going to be a Lucky Star Spin off series, Called Konata 31. From the details that have been released Konata 31 is going to be a series that takes place 15 years after the events of the main Lucky Star series, following a now 31 year old Konata. We have no information on who any of the supporting cast is for this series, we don’t know if any of the original cast outside of Konata will even return or if they all fell out of some time after High School. And, sadly, anything I say from this point on is going to be nothing more than mere speculation, but it’s curious to focus on the age of 31. Why? Well, that’s the age of the people who started reading Lucky Star are probably now, when I started Lucky Star, I was the same age as the girls, I was roughly in my teens and early adult hood and now I’m beginning my 30′s. yes not all the fans will be the same age, but most of them will be. Most of these fan will either be experiencing their 30′s or have experienced their 30′s and can look back. And what are people living with in their 30′s, what do people tend to focus on, where can these possible new stories take us? Job security, Home Security, making an identity for ourselves, physically and mentally and, for many of us (Sorry Ace/Aero crowd) Romance. A large part of Lucky Star fans growing up were Konata and Kagami shippers, they supported the idea of a gay relationship between these character, before openly gay relationships between characters were as common as they are now. We didn’t have shows like Witch from Mercury, Yuru Yuri, Steven Universe, owl House, RWBY and many more where characters could have open gay relationship. It was all theorizing, subtext and taking whatever people could give us, even if it was mostly there to make us buy merchandise. Now am I saying that with 100% certainty, that Konata 31 is going to have a story where Kagami and Konata finally tie the knot and all 13-18 year old hearts become validated. No, it’s quite possible, like many slice of life comedies they doesn’t even focus on the romantic side of the characters and instead focus more on their day to day lives instead. But, there is all that history. I don’t know what I’m saying really, I made this post mostly to get thoughts out of my head and here I am getting thoughts out of my head. But what I will say is I will defiantly be picking up the first volume of Konata 31 when it becomes available.

How do you think events would have played out if the Hinase twins swapped schools? (Tsubaki went to Hiiragi's school instead and vice versa)

I feel like then i guess hiiragi could(?) met yatsude instead? But its not gonna be easy cus shes rlly cold and close off

So maybe she would just be quiet and stuff

Tho i do think kaname would try talking to her and stuff so hiiragi will have some kind of dynamic with kaname and piyoko but it definitely wont be as easy as it is with Tsubaki since hiiragi is closed off and alot more cold

Felt like kaname couldve pissed hiiragi off bcs of her silly(?) behaviour (or kaname can sense somethin goin on in hiiragi?? Ok maybe nit sensing but atleast theres somethin aboht hiiragi for her) and since maybe hiiragi sort of lash out on kaname piyoko would be there to sort of defend kaname(even tho for kaname she doesn't feel threatened probably) and hiiragi and piyoko might argue abit and stuff

But i feel like maybe just maybe kaname has some interest in hiiragi just like she does with tsubaki

Especially that tsubaki and hiiragi are attractive in their own way (tsubaki cute, hiiragi cool some kind of prince girl) so kaname might tingle around

But idk either cus maybe just maybe hiiragi could let out her childish behaviour to someone (like yatsude maybe????idk) bcs mostly we see how shes letting out her childesh behaviour toward that tall teacher (akutami sensei i think the name) and that means something MUST have happen between them for hiiragi to be sort of cling towards her

Or maybe for hiiragi it just need 1 person to sort of give her a someone to hear her problem(?) for her to let out her childishness/cling(?) thing goin on like she have with akutami

But idk if that could work with yatsude cus who knows maybe the reason it happens with akutami sensei is because shes a teacher so shes like an older figure towards hiiragi

Or maybe hiragii couldve also met yokoe and kei

If that so shed probably MAYBE get along well with kei lol

But also i feel like utsugi either could still stay in hiiragi's school or she move out to yokoe's school

Mostly bcs i have a feeling that utsugi know hiiragi from somewhere and she probably admire her and thats why she transfers to hiiragi school just to see hiiragi out of admiration

And i think if that bcs of that one chapter "i knew you were amazing!" She said i "knew" So i feel like for me she knows hiiragi from somewhere and admire her

So thats why she transferred to her school and its all bcs she admires her and want to met hiiragi and stuff

But fot tsubaki well she would be anxious and stuff like that

Im not sure if she could be popular since shes more of a shy and look herself as worthless thing yk so maybe her would be the same shy and stuff

But if utsugi still stays the same in that school utsugi wouldve befriend tsubaki and they both will probably get along well since im sure tsubaki doesnt mine someones whos sooo damn energetic for the first time they met

But still i feel like in the end utsugi will transfer to hiiragi's school bcs she admires her so she uh sorta will find her?(that sounds like a stalker but im sure she just got info somewhere and just wanna meet the person she admires) (anyway idk if thats true or not cus thats just my theory ) but im sure tsubaki could still met new people like the class prez and stuff so they will have some dynamic or so

Or maybe tsubaki will meet akutami and got someone to lend shoulder on(?) and so tsubaki is finally full of hope again but of course it would still be abit difficult for her

But im sure she can handle it abit well cus tsubaki isnt so bad interacting with people

Its just hard at first but she can still do it in the end

Or maybe she would be the princess popular girl in that school maybe (probably not) (since considering the reason why hiiragi is the prince girl is cus shes cold and good at many things with good grades too(if i remember) but tsubaki probably would get invited to a club or so, so she would be fine probably

Lemme get y’all updated on my characters since I’ve logged on! Those who’ve known me for a while already know about Penny and Quill, but a few more have joined the stable since them! I’ma tell you about ‘em now.

CHIRO - Bat Scrybe of Kyro

Conceptualized alongside my close friend and frequent collaborator HT Black, Chiro is the hero to a long lost classic platformer video game, “Chiro! And the Words of Power”, where she is a Scrybe on a journey to save her homeland of Kyro.

Endlessly curious and helpful to a fault, Chiro isn’t quite sure that she deserves or should even be a Scrybe, entrusted to write down and preserve the history of her land, but she’s going to try her best, anyway. People are counting on her!

TYRA - The Nervous Dragon

Tyra is an electric dragon with a neurotic streak, easily intimidated and often nervous, despite her large stature. Ponies around her find her quite atypical of what they expect from dragons. She is genuinely trying her best though, so do give the girl a break.

ROWENA - A weeb stuck in the 2000s

A character conceived alongside with @sublimenol​!

Pulled into a strange world that changed her from a lost-in-life 30 something office worker to an absolute weeb of a bat, Rowena embodies much of the anime fan culture of the early 2000s. Very much a tsundere, through and through. She’s got twin-tails like Kagami Hiiragi!

The main thing about Rowe is that she was conceived of as an “alternate” path of my life, if I had kept the path of my art towards anime/manga and not diverted into ponies.

RED | The Tail-Taker | The Flame-in-Flood

Another character conceived alongside HT Black. Red was a former soldier of the Mnemonic Order of the Sun, a powerful church in the city known as This Awful Place. The humyns of the city were often at war with the Lothric peoples, derisively called Vermyn. Red was notorious for his brutality against the Lothric, with his nickname well earned. Prideful and driven, Red was a skilled Mnemonic, even if his faith was not quite as resolute as his peers.

Through Lothric magic, Red was transformed into one of the Least, the smallest clan of the Lothric. This experience slowly humbles him and has him understand the peoples he long called his enemy, and to realize that the conflict in This Awful Place was not as simple as Humyns against the Lothric.

LILAC MEADOWS - The Constantly Overwhelmed Secretary

A character inspired by Foxxy-TF!

This poor skunk has one primary personality: Constantly overwhelmed. Serving as the secretary to one Miss London, there is almost never a chance you see Lilac taking a break. Whether it’s because she’s a workaholic or because she doesn’t ever know how to take it easy, it’s hard to say.

LYKA THE STOAT - Commander of the Restoration Auxiliary Team

Here’s one I’ve been excited to talk about! My Sonic the Hedgehog OC!

Lyka the Stoat is the de facto leader of the Restoration Auxiliary Team, a secondary arm of the Restoration seen in the Sonic IDW comics. Whatever shenanigans Sonic and his friends are up to, you can expect the RATs to be holding up the rear or fighting another front!

Lyka is a hyperactive and cheerful stoat, always eager to get into battle and help out. Straight up, she embodies a lot of shonen protagonist tropes. She’s not terribly bright and has a bad habit of causing a lot of property damage, but her heart’s in the right place and as long as you point her in the right direction, she’s a force to be reckoned with. Despite not being strategically minded, her spirit and tenacity has put her as the leader of the RATs, inspiring others to take up the wispon against Dr. Eggman.

hey, just wanted your opinion on something : do you think yuri is a good cooker ? like ,can she cook,is she a decend cooker?

(very random sorry- just a question that popped into my brain lol)

Considering this post I queued popped off recently, this wasn't all that random or unexpected actually XD

Being a bit of a Lucky☆Star fan, this question instantly took me back to the scene (I forget which episode) where Konata and the Hiiragi twins are discussing their skills in household chores, and they guess that since Miyuki is rich, she probably isn't very good at doing her own chores. (spoiler: they were right)

Since Lucky☆Star has greatly influenced by DDLC headcanons for No Fucking Reason, I headcanon Yuri's family as being a bit of the rich side, and by extension, she tends to not be very good at things like cooking because they would always just buy what they wanted and never had to do it themselves.

Natsuki, on the other hand, is amazing at cooking, and I think she'd teach Yuri the value of not only making things yourself, but also the value of a home-cooked meal :3

Again, baseless headcanons, but I find them fun and cute XD
