Sunday Digest - ah shit here we go again

welp

if you've been seeing me posting and have wondered to yourself "gin, i thought you were on hiatus. why are you lurking around like a ghost with social anxiety?" then i would say that is a valid question, my friend.

in case you didn't hear, i had a very abrupt, very dramatic change of plans in regards to my internship and i now find myself back home, teaching yoga and volunteering and praying for a summer job.

i wasn't sure if i was just going to let my hiatus run its course, but i've decided that i have writing to share, and i'd rather do it now than in a few months when i'm up to my eyeballs in course and thesis work. so this is me officially ending my hiatus, oops.

here's my plan - June is complete (not the month, the series, though the month is also almost over lol) and it means a great deal to me so that's what i'm going to be posting for the foreseeable future. most likely a chapter a week. the second chapter will be coming this tuesday.

also, i am very close to another follower milestone and i'd like to do some request work to celebrate that whenever it comes along :)

that's all. i'm definitely taking things slower and i think it will be more sustainable for me in the long run.

in the meantime, i want to give a little love to fics and writers that have been swirling around in my brain.

@northernbluess and @fishingforpike have a new Frankie Morales series they're working on called In Bloom and the first chapter was absolutely lovely. i'm so excited to read more soon!

never not reccing @thetriumphantpanda and their Ghost of You Joel Miller series. i just finished reading the latest chapter and it was perfectly human and honest and well done.

@wannab-urs put out a lil lovely bite-sized fic called Bruise last week that is fresh and dizzying and a perfect little hit of Dieter Bravo goodness.

i admit i have not read it yet, but i just know @swiftispunk is going to wreck me with the conclusion of In My Hometown. an awesome series that i cannot recommend enough.

are you reading @tieronecrush's neighbor!joel series Hot and Heavy? If not, what the hell are you doing? For real, every chapter makes my head spin a little in the best way.

@beskarandblasters is coming up with the coolest ideas in her Punisher Joel Miller series. And i'm stoked to see what she and a whole crew of other lovely people do with their Folklore series as well :)
