So me and a friend were watching Death Note (I’ve actually only ever read the manga) and we got to a bit where all the investigators had been pulling all-nighters and had stubble bc they obviously hadn’t had a chance to shave, and L was just there, clean shaven, despite the fact that he probably hadn’t even changed clothes the whole time.

Besides L being trans, do any of you happen to know if the creators have put out any cursed reasons for this or failing that any funny headcanons I can use to amuse said friend?
