i treat all my interests like the repressed middle schooler i was - desperately hiding them and cringing whenever someone even insinuates they know i enjoy it while shamefully consuming content about it constantly in private - for about a month before i make a sharp 180 and become The most obnoxious about the subject and tell every single person in my life about it incessantly. this cycle repeats every single time

#for some reason consumption of content and shame about said consumption peak at the same time. the phase where i’m annoying about it #coincides with me finally chilling out lmao #this is why i’d been vaguing about ninjago for a month and now it’s. 90% of my posts outside of the fandub #agshdjdk actually i need to hunt down that screenshot of me being embarrassed to admit i wrote sonic fic back in early 2020. meanwhile #here i am hitting 20k on the sonic triple threat au outline alone #text✨#anyway yeah uh. way more ninjago stuff incoming i have a mess of a queue to still work through and a bunch of nonsense meta #i get way too self conscious over bc i haven’t been able to finish a rewatch or catch up yet so i’m constantly worried i’m not canon agdhdjf #i was so embarrassed to get into sonic bc people in the LU fandom gave me shit for it #least amount of offense met but jfc did the LU fandom have just as many issues as sonic does. at least sonics fun about it #(has lingering frustration from my six month stint as an LU server mod. it was a Time.)
