I hope we get a lot of rouge in the new game and a reassertion that she's shadows best friend and sister, the tails to his sonic

im gonna be a no fun allowed buzzkill for a second but honestly i wouldnt get ur hopes up for rouge content in sxsh . while shes been in more things recently its never been in relation to shadow, and the pitch for this game seems to be focusing on adventure 2/shth05 with shadow "revisiting his past"/"confronting painful memories". while it would be awesome for them to address his relationship w team dark sega is unfortunately allergic to that and i dont see why it would be different in a gens remaster

hello this is urban fantasy nonnie, thank you for that drawing it's so cute and adorable and I love it! It gave me another random idea hope you don't mind: So Spitelout tries to encourage snotlout and hiccup to be closer (like "they're family, you should have each other's backs" kind of dynamic) So he tries to get them through 'manly' activities like fishing and sports- stuff that he and stoick used to do together! They indulge Spitelout, but soon they find out that they both actually hate those things, and really bond thru snarky commentary and craftmaking. Spitelout didn't expect that, but hey whatever works!! Now hiccup comes to snotlout whenever he rips his riding gear, and they complain about their dads, school and uptight teachers

this is so cute and fun nonnie ur always so right!! i imagine they’re like siblings (want Nothing to do with each other in public but close in private)

and when toothless just takes off without much warning hiccup can only stand there hoping he hasnt been imagining a friendship where toothless only saw a cage like OUghdhg he soggy little meow meow who loves his buddy so muchh :(((((

this entire scene is gold and gives all the warm dumbass friend group feelings. astrid and snotlout my beloveds <3 <3 <3

You are so real for the thw salt. Like i knew from the books that dragons leaving made sense for that adaptation, and the writers mentioned early in the productions (i wasnt sure if it was in the httyd artbook for 1 or 2) that they wanted to end the movies in same way but my gOd they went about it the worst and most ludicrous way possible, like dang it they were so close!!

it would take a lot for me to accept a movie where the dragons left completely considering the entire premise of the movie franchise and how different it is from the books. even if they lead up to the ending well enough, theres a high chance i would still have a gripe over the theme of it all. because theres like no way you can get around the issue of having 2 movies, a handful of shorts, and 8 SEASONS OF TV SHOWS establishing your primary message as "strength in togetherness" and then separating the two leads who serve that message the most. like even in this alternate reality where thw Tried a little bit there would still be that hurdle (not even discounting that having all the dragons dip would have serious implications about what the story was trying to say about real life social justice efforts like it does in "canon".....) . dean just had a preoccupation with the "there were dragons when i was a boy" line and could not let go of it for the life of him. and like a little kid hanging on to someones leg it dragged everything else down around it and now we have This Reality's thw, homecoming (abhorred), and tnr.

i will always be a believer in astrid becoming the "stationary" chief of berk while hiccup and toothless map out the world and do the diplomacy work between humans and dragons. he does what he's good at and she does what shes good at and they make the world better little by little their own way w their best friends beside them <3
