happy weekend dearest!

other than the snow angels, i haven’t done much.,, just been cozying it up with coffee and blankets at home hehe. 30 degrees... amazing. ideal feeling like a rotisserie chicken weather. 😌 bc of global warming we’ve been having some great summers these past few years. it even gets to 30 degrees as well which was unheard of tbh.

i generally try not to get into fandom actually? i mean i used to like homestuck and now i’m into kpop so maybe you can see why. everyone i’ve met in the knb fandom has so far been very very sweet though! i’m really glad ...

2. Even if you don’t celebrate it, what’s your opinion on people who celebrate/hype Christmas before letting Thanksgiving pass?

okokok so my brother likes to play christmas music whenever the mood strikes him (read: in july) and it MAKES ME WANT TO DIE because i hate songs if i have to listen to them too many times, and christmas music is just. god. it’s so incredibly overplayed. the same thing over and over.

that’s my only beef with it though, otherwise i’m like meh. thanksgiving is a pretty mediocre holiday in itself so i’m indifferent.

3. Are you what the cool kids call…a gamer?

JKHSFJHKJS SE IJ U ... uhm i play osu, i used to play mobile rhythm games too but then i stopped. i have a flight rising and gaia account that i check on a lot??? and pokemon and animal crossing games that i haven’t touched in a while.

oh oh boy there’s this one fic that i really love and i won’t link it because the pairing is embarrassing but the buildup for this one line makes my gut churn every time i read it, and i’ve definitely read it like 10 times by now but i just!!! wow, i really love this fic

oh, oh man. all of the good feelings that i associate with homestuck, i guess? like, the feeling of being a kid and not having any idea of what you’re doing, but you stick with the people you care about & care about you, and you grow up and you realize that while you might not have it all figured out, but nothing can suck all the time, so you have to take whatever bright moments you can find! ALSO. THEY’RE MARRIED. WHAT MORE JOY DO I NEED IN LIFE

8. Now, what things do you associate with yourself?

i’ve always used jellyfish to represent myself! uhm. aesthetic? lmao yeah i have a very specific aesthetic in the colors i like and the music i listen to and my friend is always like “man [x thing] is so you” and i’m just like. heh.

9. Opinions on your friend groups (both online and irl)?

i love them ... i’m really grateful to have met all of the people i know & am friends with! and i really hope that in the future i’ll still be able to meet more!

don’t have one. oops. if you had asked me last year maybe there would have been a more obvious answer, but as of now ... mm

11. How are you now compared to yourself in the past?

i mean, i like to think i’m happier? or like, closer to normal function than i was in high school? haha. i think i was in a better place, mentally, last year compared to this year though. i feel like i’m relapsing ... sorry, that’s a little depressing.

i’m more optimistic about my art ... yeah. i dunno. i’m older, but not wiser. unfortunate.
