Lamarr being an enabler for Gordon being silly is so good. Yes! Let the man be silly! He has been serious for too long! He deserves to be a silly little vent gremlin
Y'know how in the book version of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, the Hyde identity isn't a separate person as much as he is Jekyll indulging his desires with the disguise of a physical transformation that drops his inhibitions? Well that isn't Rangoon exactly but it is admittedly very helpful to let the people have their static image of the Freeman.
He has a good amount of guilt and baggage to unpack but man does it feel good to be a silly guy again.

Kleiner brings Heddy Rangoon a box full of odds and ends. He says (with some bittersweetness) that he was just cleaning out Lamarr's bed and things since she's, y'know, part of a person now, no real need to leave her old things out. But, well, if Heddy wants to keep anything, they're free to root through it.
Heddy's not sure there's anything they'll want. Sure, Rangoon is connected to Lamarr, they think in sync sometimes. But they're functionally an adult human, there's no reason why they'd want some chewed pet supplies.
They do pick up a worn old towel. Something about it is familiar...
Oh! Lamarr's had this forever!
Looks like the headcrab memories are going to win this round.
