You know how when someone points out your tongue is just taking up space in your mouth, you're hyper-aware of how weird it feels? Heddy KNOWS that a human mouth opens up-and-down, but the Lamarr part of them still finds it alien sometimes. They got a little fidgety when eating for the first couple weeks.

Yes, absolutely. Heddy will chitter when anxious, chirp when curious or seeking attention, and trill when very happy.
Sometimes the trilling is referred to as "purring", though they can't purr like a cat. They still have the same stuff to work with as your average human with vocal damage, they just play their instrument differently.
I need to come up with more animalistic habits for Heddy
