I grew up listening to Jaci Velasquez. In fact, I saw her live with a couple of my siblings at Heavenfest many years ago. I didn't realize that she wrote a book until last year, when my husband and I were at Mardel. Since I was already halfway through this book challenge, I decided to wait until I reached the Vs before reading it.
Since we are, obviously, on the Vs, I have now read it.
I thought it was going to be more like an autobiography, but it wasn't really. It does cover when she learned her son has autism and how that impacted their family, but it's not so much about Jaci's life. So overall, I thought it was perfectly interesting, but I don't need to read it again. I would've been more interested in learning how she got into music, what she thought about touring, stuff like that.
