Wild Barberry
This is me picking barberry in late November. You have to harvest a lot of these little berries just to make a small jar of tincture.
When harvesting wild plants, I prefer to pick from different areas, if possible, and not take everything from the same spot. It’s better for the environment.
I have noticed that wild animals tend to eat a little from one spot, move on, and eat a little more from another spot. It’s nature’s way of keeping things in balance.

I get up early in the morning every day. Morning is when I am most clear and energetic. Today, I arose to this wonderful view outside of my home. Always be open to the magic of the universe.
