everyone talks about the fear of a legit tomgreg betrayal in s4 but like. greg's got a pretty solid track record of needing the promise of someone who could love him (in whatever way) on the other side anytime he's ever "left" tom. kendall, comfry, the duchess, etc.

only way i see it happening is if tom winds up taking several steps back into the deep part of his closet AND if directly after, greg faces the promise of someone playing sugar daddy to him more overtly than tom ever has. even then i'm sure they'll fix it in the next episode

#tomgreg #mine #he's literally not as powerhungry as i think a lot of ppl think he is #like he just needs stability and love and guess what. he's searching for that among the roys who reject stability #and the only way to be in harmony with them is to play their game. the game of.. succession. if you will #i don't think greg has any more of an innate selfish drive to be filthy rich than tom does #and ultimately i really do think that they could be happy together as 'poorer' rich people #ceo greg is a funny thought but he wouldn't know what to do with it. he just needs a sugar daddy lol
