amnesia (ona batlle x reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You wake up in the hospital with no memory of who you are or anything about your life, but a pretty brunette is by your bedside, so it can't be all bad, right?
warnings: memory loss, car accident mention, hospital
a/n: part 2 here!
----------
“She’s awake!”
Squinting against the harsh light, you slowly opened your eyes, taking in your surroundings. You were lying in bed in a room with white and grey walls and bright overhead lights. The bedsheet covering you was soft against your hands.
You blinked, looking around the room. Four people were stood around you, a woman in a white coat, a man in light blue scrubs, and two young women in everyday clothes. The two women looked on the verge of tears, but you weren’t sure why.
Opening your mouth to speak, you gagged as you realised your throat was obstructed by something. The realisation quickly turned to panic, feeling like you were being choked, unable to breathe. One of the younger women turned to the woman in white, who you were pretty sure was a doctor, and spoke rapidly in a language you couldn’t understand.
The doctor and the man, who you decided was probably a nurse, quickly worked to remove the tube from your throat. Eyes watering, you coughed and rubbed your throat, glad to be free of it. When you opened your mouth to speak again, the doctor interrupted you gently.
“Careful,” she said. “Don’t strain yourself.”
“Wh- where am I?” you asked. Your voice was hoarse, and your tongue felt like sandpaper. “Is this a hospital?”
The two women exchanged anxious glances.
“Yes, this is the Hospital de Barcelona,” the doctor told you. Barcelona, huh. That explained her accent. “Do you remember why you’re here?”
You frowned, shaking your head. Now that she mentioned it, you had no idea what you were doing there.
“That’s okay. It’s perfectly normal not to remember much. You were in an accident. You were hit by a car. Miraculously, you only broke some bones in your right leg, but you hit your head pretty hard. You’ve been in a coma since the accident, 15 days ago.”
Your mind raced as you took in the information. Why couldn’t you remember any of it? Why couldn’t you remember anything? Not even-
“Now, can you tell me your name?” the doctor asked, interrupting your stream of thought.
Not even your name.
“I- I don’t know, I don’t know my name, why don’t I remember my name?” you asked frantically. You tried to sit up but stopped as a wave of pain radiated throughout your body, crashing over you. One of the women reached out, putting a hand on your shoulder.
The doctor stayed for a while, explaining to you again and again what had happened. You’d been hit by a car. You’d hit your head. You’d been in a coma for the past 15 days. You’d been hit by a car. You’d hit your head. You’d been in a coma for the past 15 days. Over and over again, until it sunk in.
She spoke to the two women before she left, again in a language you didn’t understand, the two glancing over at you with worried faces, the doctor’s face reassuring and kind. Once she was gone, the two women came over to your bedside. Tears brimmed in their eyes, but they were both trying to smile at you.
“Hola, mija,” one of the women said. She had blonde hair with dark roots and kind eyes, but she looked tired.
“Do- do you remember me? Us?” the other woman asked, gesturing to herself and the blonde. Her hair was darker, and freckles were scattered across her nose and cheeks. Your eyes raked over her sharp jawbones, her angular face. Surely you would know if you’d met someone like her before.
You shook your head slowly.
The brunette swallowed back a sob, the blonde holding her arm tightly.
“It’s okay, that’s okay,” the blonde said. “The doctor said there was a high chance of this happening. That she wouldn’t remember us. It’s okay.”
“Who are you?” you asked, voice quiet.
“I’m Ona. I’m, uh, we play together,” the brunette told you, and the blonde looked at her sharply for just a second before looking back at you.
“And I’m Alexia. Your teammate and friend.”
Playing together? Teammate?
“Football!” you blurted out suddenly. You’re not sure how you knew, but you had this deep, innate sense that football is important to you. More than important, it’s your whole life. “I play football, right?”
The blonde, Alexia, let out a laugh of relief. “Si! You play football! We all play together, here in Barcelona.”
She squeezed Ona’s arm, who smiled tearfully.
“So, I’m guessing we’re all pretty close, right? Surely there’s a reason you’re here,” you said bluntly, wincing at the pain in your head.
“We’re your best friends,” Ona said quickly, before Alexia could open her mouth.
“That’s… right,” Alexia said slowly. “I’m the capitana of our team, and we’re best friends. And you and Ona are also… best friends.”
You nodded, feeling exhausted suddenly. “Thank you both for being here, then. I think I’m going to sleep now, if that’s okay?”
“Of course!” Ona said, jumping up. “We’ll be here when you wake up, okay?”
You were asleep before the two had even left the room. Once they were in the hallway, the door to your private hospital room shut, Alexia turned to face Ona.
“What was that?” Alexia asked her, voice hushed, as though you’d be able to hear them through the door.
“What do you mean?” Ona shifted uncomfortably, not meeting the blonde’s eyes.
“Why did you tell her you’re just friends? Why didn’t you tell her that you’re dating?!”

Could I please have an imagine where the reader and Meredith Grey have been best friends since childhood. The thing is that they both have had feelings for each other for years but never said anything. When they both start at Seattle Grace Meredith goes out with Derek and the reader starts something with another intern (doesn’t matter who). Both begin to realize that they are jealous and that they want to be together. (Possible conversations between Derek and the other person talking about how obvious it is) (like they give up their relationships for the other to be happy) fluffy and angsty please?

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜: Meredith Grey x f!reader ♡
𝘼/𝙣: I've chosen Jackson, I haven't written much for him yet! So this will be also a minor Jackson Avery x reader, anyway I hope you'll like the rest! <3
Tumblr media
In every situation a choice must be made. And most of the time the choice you make should satisfy your need. You can choose whether to wait and keep hoping or go ahead in search of something new. This was your choice. Despite your strong feelings for Meredith, you've decided to let it go so you can change things.
There was this guy, pretty cute, who was in the same internship class as you and he seemed to be hitting on you a lot. When you saw Meredith again you thought it was a sign of destiny and that you might finally come forward, but she didn't seem to show any interest and she even started dating someone else. An attending. Derek Shepherd. Chief of Neurosurgery. At first it hurt you, but then you thought about doing the same and agreeing to go out with Jackson.
It wasn't bad at all, in fact he really made you feel good. He was so nice and kind to you, you almost thought you could fall in love with him and turn this into a serious relationship. But it still bothered you a lot seeing Meredith with someone else and you hated yourself for it.
Sometimes she was in the corridors with Derek, blowing a few kisses while they talked, not caring about the people passing by, but just looking like she wanted to show off, so you did the same with Jackson when you saw her, letting his lips wrap yours as they met passionately. The only result was a few glances between you, nothing more. But neither of them wanted to stop. You also tended to highlight your plans for the evening or the day, which confused the hell out of Jackson and Derek, but despite having a huge effect on both of you.
Derek and Jackson seemed to notice, it was starting to get so weird. As much as Jackson might have displeased him he'd noticed you were somehow jealous of Derek, he'd understood you cared especially for Meredith, but of course you'd never tell him, so the only thing he could do was continue to put up with it all and go after you.
One morning you rushed in together, had coffee together and left before him since you had a surgery scheduled and didn't want to be late. He decided to take it slower.
"Avery" Derek's voice caught his attention, making him stop sipping his coffee in peace.
"Doctor Shepherd" he politely greeted him.
"Okay..." he looked embarrassed. "I'll get right to the point" he stated bringing a rather curious expression to Jackson's face. Was that what he was thinking about?
"I think you've noticed it too, cause it's obvious..." he started.
"Meredith and Y/n?" he asked to have the certainty. He did an expression to confirm.
"I know this isn't professional, but we need to clarify it" Jackson nodded.
"Meredith told me about Y/n, they knew each other since childhood" Jackson raised his eyes.
"Oh... I did n't know..." in his head he had always limited himself to putting the pieces together, but you had never spoken to him about Meredith. And he had never bothered to ask for information.
"And it seems like both will never face it" The two shared the same suspicions.
"That's difficult" Jackson continued.
There was a moment of silence between the two, then when perhaps the situation was finally about to change, Derek was called.
Jackson just strayed there, thinking about it. He had a huge crush on you but apparently he understood this wasn't what you wanted.
Before he could be late too, he entered, with all the thoughts still whirling through his head. In fact they were able to ruin his whole day, and as soon as he had a chance to talk to you, he took you to a call-room to clarify.
Thinking you understood what he wanted to do, you welcomed him with an intense kiss. And although he liked it, he interrupted the situation; he was going to have a serious conversation.
"You okay?" you asked him having noticed something weird.
"Is this what do you want, Y/n?" he asked looking deeply at your eyes. You were confused.
"Jackson, what-"
"You don't want me, I know. You don't want us" his expression as he pronounced those words almost broke you. But deep down you knew what he was referring to and you couldn't say anything against it. He nodded at your silence.
"It's her, Meredith" he continued.
"Jackson, I'm so sorry, I... you're very good..." you tried to get out of it.
"I know, it's okay" he put a hand on your cheek. "I won't be the one who will prevent you to be happy" he gave you a smile, that you knew were forced, and without adding anything else, he left the room.
He did this for you. You almost wanted to cry, even you didn't know the reason. You loved Meredith Grey, and this was ruining your life.
That same evening you went to Joe's bar, hoping it would helped you throw this day in the trash. You sat down and asked the usual drink, tequila.
"Tequila for me too, please" you turned to Meredith when you heard her voice next to you. You weren't in the best mood to face her, so you just ignored it all and continued drinking.
"Shitty day?" she asked you.
"Yeah" she seemed to want to talk. "You?" you asked.
"Derek doesn't talk to me" she said placing the shot glass back on the table. "Because of you" she continued. “And… I think he's right” she admitted. You looked at her, feeling a little pissed.
"Really Meredith?" you crossed your arms after you finished drinking. “Well, you could say that first, you know? You made me feel like a crap about this situation” She raised her eyes.
"Did I do this to you Y/n? You didn't do anything either!" she said irritated and making you feel a little guilty. But it was both's fault. None of you said anything, even the feeling was strong.
You looked into her eyes, before forgetting everything and approaching to kiss her. It was all you needed, knowing that you both felt the same way and that you would do anything to have each other's presence close.
You pull apart for a second to look at each other, can't helping but smiling and kept doing it as you stumble into another kiss.

For the Halloween prompts could you do a fluffy lukercy drabble (or whatever you want) or them trick or treating (I might be back to request something angsty if that fine with you) mwah <333
I love you, my dear 💕 you can send me a prompt about anything, anytime 💕 (but I might not be able to write it)
It started with Percy's begging.
Well, no.
It started with looking into those expressive sea-green eyes for the first time, and knowing that everything was lost. But that was another story.
This story started with Percy begging Luke to go with him trick-or-treating.
"Come with me? Pleeeeaseee?" Percy asked his now-friend with his begging baby seal eyes, almost breaking Luke's arm in his excitement. The blonde sighed dejectedly, knowing that there was no way he could ever say no to Percy. The kid was his whole world, of course, he would not be able to deny him anything.
He tried, he failed, he died, and now that he was alive - again -, would never do anything against him ever again.
So, they went.
And they had so much fun. They got buckets of chocolate bars - ate most of it -, scared some unsuspecting people and pranked others. Luke could not think a time when he enjoyed himself more.
It was his first time to dress up for Halloween, as it was not a big thing in Camp Half-Blood, and because of that, Percy decided that it would be better if they would go in a matching costume: Luke in an elegant black robe, snakehead wand securely in a cane, his long, blonde hair falling on his shoulders, and Percy in a black school robe, red-and-gold necktie haphazardly tied around his neck, curse mark peaking out of his messy hair.
They were quite popular.
It was an amazing night Luke never wanted to end.
As they got back to camp, they went to Percy's cabin, as the older boy did not want to deal with his sugar-high siblings, nor wanted to part from Percy. After long years of denial, he finally admitted that he was in love with Percy, so he would do anything to spend as much time with the other demigod, as he could.
Closing the door behind themselves, they targeted the soft bed, laying next to each other. It was not a new thing between them. Sometimes, when Luke had enough of everything, when his depression hit the rock bottom, or when they had a movie night together, he liked to seek out Percy's comforting presence. They would lay in the bed, close to each other in a comfortable silence.
Yet, that night, it seemed different.
While the sugar crash made him sleepy, Luke's thoughts did not leave him alone. That night... It felt suspiciously like a date.
"Have you ever kissed another man?" Luke finally asked in a quiet voice, not knowing whether he wanted to know the answer. His heart beat faster, hoping for a negative one. Or a positive one, he wasn't sure which one.
"Uhh..." Percy trailed off hesitantly. He glanced at Luke from the corner of his eyes, and blushed when his gaze met with blue eyes. He pressed his lips together, and shook his head.
Luke's heart jumped. Maybe... Maybe he could...
Before he could change his mind, he bravely asked, "Would you like to?" He wet his lips in a nervous gesture, but did not take his eyes off of Percy.
"I don't... I mean, I haven't... I haven't thought about it before," Percy said, avoiding eye contact, behaving in a suspicious way. Luke knew when somebody was lying, and Percy-
He was lying.
And he was looking at Luke's lips with a longing expression.
The son of Hermes smiled. It was a small, barely there little thing, but it came from his heart. So, he was right; it was a date!
He reached out to Percy, caressing his charmingly red face with his fingertips, leaving him opportunity to stop Luke if he was uncomfortable. But Percy didn't react in a negative way, so he shifter closer to the other demigod, finding Percy's hand with his free one to have more contact with the younger demigod.
His breath fluttered over Percy's lips as he whispered, tempting, like a demon making a deal for an innocent's soul, "Do you want to?"
Percy squirmed slightly, biting into his lips, but decidedly did not move away from the blonde demigod. His eyes were conflicted, but as he took a deep breath, he steadied himself, showing his daring, brave side that Luke adored so much.
"Kiss me," he ordered defiantly.
Luke smiled, caressing Percy's chin, tilting it towards him. "Gladly," he said, and got up to move to a better position. He arranged himself around Percy, lowering himself down, half beside and half on top of the younger demigod.
He wetted his lips in anticipation, he could barely contain his excitement as it was finally happening. He dreamed about it, spending so many waking hours of imagining it, knowing that it would never happen. He was waiting for it so long, but not anymore.
He was going to finally kiss Percy Jackson.
"Kiss me," Percy repeated, softly, breathlessly. "Please."
And Luke did.
