The Obsession Is Returning

Y’all may not know, but I really like On My Block and I was thinking of the show again and I started wondering smth…

how do y’all think Oscar would react if Cesar had a friend that wasn’t afraid of him? Like, if my memory is correct, the kids were spooked when he was around. Now as the show went on the kids became more comfortable around him (besides Monse. He LAUGHED in season 3 and she fr got mad but moving on) but what if Cesar had a friend who was never scared of him, almost stupidly so, and said the most outta pocket shit.

Like, you’re ranting to him during that lockdown/lock-in/the shit that happened in season one and he’s like “I do not care” and you’re like “well you can’t go anywhere so sucks to suck I guess”. Idk, maybe it’s because I’m sleepy but that shit would be funny cause why tf did you tell that man his wardrobe is ass? Yes he has a bunch of long socks, let that shit go.

And when the Santos got all hype at that party and broke the truce? Oh gosh. “The truce was gonna break anyway but really Oscar? Since we on the topic, who the fuck was the guy that proposed the idea. I got a lot a shit I gotta say to y’all”. You could probably talk a bunch of shit cause what is he gonna do? SHOOT YOU? I hope not.

Y’all would have a more unhinged relationship than him and Jamal cause at least Jamal watches his mouth (somewhat) around him. Your dumbass would- “who decided the wardrobe for this gang?” “I just feel like being around bald dudes all day is weird but idk, that’s just me” “actually sit the fuck down. Or don’t. You got a gun, I don’t” “I know nothing of the streets. I behave. You don’t.” “Why do people in gangs refuse to say ‘happy birthday’? What the fuck is a ‘happy g day’?” “Aight gang - not like THAT though”.

I feel like the friendship would be gradual cause at first he’s like “why the fuck do you keep talking to me?”. Time skip and now this nigga knows your birthday. Can I say nigga on tumblr? We gon see what happens. Y’all go from “go do anything else besides talking to me” to “you ain’t text me all day. What’s up?”. This show came out in 2018. I was 13. I am 18 now. I am still in love with this man and that’s never gonna change. We ignore season 4. He never died. Y’all imagined that shit. He’s healthy and doing great.

taylor ( @jbhmalumm ) wrote incredible cashton fics and im gonna rec their latest two which are strings attached (a birthday present TO ME <3) & something real (hurt/comfort realness done in the best way).

anna ( @ashtcnirwin ) wrote the getaway series which lives in my head rent free & foreplay which is just amazing!

jess ( @daydadahlias ) killed it with subject line regarding the storyline and the whole formatting of the fic which was super cool (and i got to help with the fun tweets!) & survivor's guilt which came to life from indulging me (like always <3).

monse ( @lukemichaelcalumashton ) wrote the funniest fic i've probably read like a billion times which is mating call (cashton being horny bastards and making luke suffer) & fueling the fire until we combust that got me to never look at the calum valentine lips pic the same ever again :)

and just gonna drop my own cashton fics cause why the hell not? i wrote them therefore they are EXACTLY to my taste therefore my favorite! we got i can't keep drowning in the shadows (you're the only one that matters) AKA the chicken and the egg fic & running from the daylight (yes. the daylight fic).

@lukemichaelcalumashton hiiiii monse! thanks for stopping by! i'm doing okay. taking a step back right now. filling out job applications. embroidering dishtowels. you know how it is

no new mashton thoughts in general, but for the college au!!! let's see. it is 10:19 on a monday night for me right now, so michael is at his apartment (he shares with both calum and luke this year, since the girls graduated and luke didn't want to live by himself). he's probably grabbing a midnight snack from the kitchen before retreating to his room because luke is studying in the main area. he has a bit of homework to finish for tomorrow so he's going to try to force himself to do it instead of procrastinating, since ashton has been encouraging him to have a better sleep schedule this semester and he doesn't want to be up until the wee hours of the morning. ashton, on the other hand, is sitting on his couch in the living room at home watching the local news and looking up apartments on his laptop. he and michael haven't concretely discussed their plans for moving after michael graduates yet, but he likes looking at apartment listings to get some ideas (and because he's getting a bit sick of living at home as an adult, so he likes to fantasize about moving). he's going to go to bed soon though since he has to be up early for his job, and he'll text michael goodnight and wait for his reply before he goes to sleep

i LOVE duke content, so i'm very happy with the birthday pic roy gaves us where calum is using him as a hat. i assume that's what you're talking about, if i missed something please tell me lol. honestly duke seems really indulgent of calum picking him up in weird ways (like when he draped him over his shoulders in the shine music video) which i think is super cute since duke is very much an Old Man and he used to bite people lol. honestly half the reason i follow roy on insta is because he's just as likely to post duke content as calum, and i love me some duke content
