This is such a wonderful collage of moments from Route 66 whether they are the ones of Aaron with Haley as the surgeons were working on the torn adhesions that had resulted from the 9 stab wounds Foyet gave him and he had that dream of them together where they saw images of his life with Jack with her being in awe of how big THEIR son had gotten. These are all great pictures of Haley right before she was murdered by Foyet who knew that was the best way to get to Aaron as it was obvious just how much they loved each other still. Just like 100 is Thomas’s best episode acting wise over the whole series in these scenes plus in general, it is also Meredith’s best episode acting wise mainly in these scenes with him. This is such a very powerful moment where Aaron held Haley’s body after she had been brutally murdered by Foyet because it was clear that he still loved her and thought of her as his wife even though they were divorced based on the fact that three years later after The Replicator brought him up he still referred to her as his wife. Spencer and the others thought of him as a widower just like Aaron thought of himself as a widower. This is always such a sad moment for me from 100 where Aaron and Haley are having their last full conversation and it is about Jack where she told him to make sure their son believed in love. It is also sad when Haley told Aaron that she wanted him to show Jack the side that made her fall in love with him in the first place even though their marriage ended in divorce. The only reason why 100 is my all-time favorite season 5 is because of the acting and only the acting. Despite the fact that 100 is hands down my all-time favorite season 5 episode simply because of the phenomenal acting from Thomas, Meredith, Kirsten, Matthew, Joe, Shemar, Paget, and AJ, the one scene that still kills me is when Aaron along with the rest of the team are forced to hear Haley be murdered by George Foyet. I loved the answer Aaron gave when Alex asked them who Foyet was after Jennifer wondered how The Replicator knew about him with Derek saying it was a classified case. I immediately got flashbacks in my head to when Aaron found Haley’s dead body after her murder.
