In August 2016, I married my best friend, @davidmglickman. We had a country wedding at a place down the road from where we live, and invited all of our friends and family to be a part of our celebration. They came from all over North America, and some came from as far as Europe. It was a happy and exciting time! We rented our next-door-neighbor’s house for some of the relatives who traveled from afar, and others stayed with us, in our home. It was warm out, and on our wedding day, it poured with rain. It didn’t matter. We were all together. The day before the wedding itself, I invited all those who wanted to, to paint a mural with me on a special wall that I had had built on the back side of my beloved studio, especially for this project. It was a fun family & friend activity, and years later, in the middle of the winter during a global pandemic, I look upon this mural and it brings back all the memories of those warm days. I am so grateful to have such a lovely reminder of our time together.
