Wally rarely dresses in any of his styles unless he's able to bind (he's not allowed by the school to use a binder while he's there) but when he does he just ends up being called an emo or something even though he's either dressed in goth, punk, or gothic punk clothing
Hoagie rarely dresses in scenecore just because he's already picked on enough at school and doesn't want to be picked on more 😭
They sometimes wear their styles together on dates tho . Sometimes. Because the rest of the times they just wear their normal stuff and Hoagie might even wear his aviator hat because he isn't allowed to at school so he never gets the chance to. He gets weird looks for it because everyone's like "why are you wearing a pilot hat on a date"

General show about
Riley is the fairy punk of the town, known for loving loud music and dark colors and being a fairy! he can be seen playing guitar, dancing, or hanging out with either Frank or Sally. As his name suggests he’s a sweetheart! Willing to help anyone in need, not judging anyone at all! He moved in to Welcome home to pursue his love for music and dance. He seems to have an affinity for hearts as seen from his heart pompadour, heart key necklace, heart necklace, and many other things with hearts on his person it is a mystery as to why he loves hearts so much! He’s also the towns hopeless romantic often writing love songs, reading fairytale’s, and day dreaming scenarios of love! He will brighten your day and give you advice on love and be as helpful as he can.
General Information
Riley sweethearts debut was in 1971 on a valentines special episode named “love a lovely thing!” The episode was about how there were many types of love and Riley Sweetheart was there to help teach the viewer and the other characters about love along the way. He looked very different in his first debut wearing clothes and hairstyles somewhat meant for the 50’s the character was meant to be someone who was insightful on the concept of love and liked to do things “the old fashioned way”, though he was unnamed and referred to a she instead of a he in his first appearance. The character was made officially part of the cast in 1973 Mar 31st with a revamped gothic/punk look and being referred to as a he instead of a she, many speculate as to why he was made part of the cast but many think it was because they wanted to bring back a familiar face with a revamped look, but it seems more likely to some that he was brought back because many loved him and Bought the limited edition special valentines cards he was on when they were made but for now it remains a mystery. In the show he was shown to hang around Sally and Frank the most but he also hung out with Wally many times, sometimes sitting next to him watching him paint when the show started. A lot of Merch of the character sold as much as the other main cast especially Valentine’s Day cards and plushies. (None of this info is canon to welcome home this is simply oc information I made up)
