awwhh i see- i wish you can hang out with your friends without it being too risky! that reminds me of that one time where my friend said "hey so uh you guys can hang out at my house since at my parent's workplace someone was positive for covid" and then immeadiately after they were like "SO WE NEED TO GO TO ONE OF YOUR GUYS' HOUSE" and Im LIKE- UH- NOO??? nOt AfTEr you just say THAT- nuh uh- thankfully we didnt hang out that day- better safe than sorry xD

and PFHAOHFA IM A LIVING HEATHEN- XDD omg at this time of year- it gets CRAZYY for me- first off- Tree is a true filipino- right when it was the first day october- youd hear them say "FUCK HALLOWEEN"(and id just whine to them like "BUT HALLOWENENENEN") and then their family set up a whole christmas tree and over-the-top decorations- and omg- if you hate christmas music- you would despise the philippines sO MUCH- when the FIRST day of SEPTEMBER hits- CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON ALLLLL THE STORES- it will drive you WILDDD ( yeah its actually a normal filipino thing- not that i ever went to the philippines myself at tHAT time of year- but my friends and family tell me all about it- filipinos are the true christmas maniacs XDDD)

and awhhh choir must be a pain ;0;;; that would remind me how on one concert- the beginners class of choir screamed on purpose even though they werent supposed to- the teacher got so pissed XDDD and YESSS PRESENTSSSS- and awh man- i actually dont own ANY consoles at all- so the only things i can ask for is steam games- last year for christmas i got just shapes and beats- which was WORTHHH

Hello 2017 - Hello Blog.

Long time no actual writing... lol. Life has been quite eventful... And the fact that I’m just a bit lazy in terms of blogging regularly. I apologize. I blame my laziness and the fact that this blog isn’t actually connected to my other account.. So I manually login to this blog.. So you can see where my problem lies when my other account is already set on my phone and tablet. On the actual content..

January has gone by fairly quickly. February is ending quite soon as well. Pretty soon March will fly by too.. It’s quite a ride. Time can be such a trip.

Speech Competition Quarter finals. Work year-end banquet. Lifeeee.. is wilddd.... Chinese New Year was quite interesting this year. I can say, I’ve made a lot of visits to the hospital (Taipei Medical and Veterans’) to last me until I’m fully recovered from this cold (more on that in a bit). The holidays are really just about being with family and spending time with them. Friends can be your second family as well - I think I did a good amount of splitting time between the two. 6 days of vacation. Dinner. Meals. Sleeping. Waking early. Learning that each year, the holidays feel a bit different too. This was my second CNY in Taiwan too.. Wild. I know my Uncle Michael is keeping track - just like my parents are.. lol...

We’re coming up on another long holiday - 228 Peace Memorial Day.. I think that’s what we call it in English. We get four days off. I have 6 days of work to makeup for having four days off... I mean, these makeup work days are only a “thing” in Taiwan from my knowledge... I feel like we never did that back home in America.. Or even in California.. lol. If we ever have to work 6 days, the 6th day is always a “fun” day - a very relaxing day for everyone... Everyone is just at work to finish their work week. lol.

I have a photo up on display at an amazing Pie Shop in the Da’An district in Taipei.. My friend, Joyce Wolf is the photographer behind this amazing, and empowering photo exhibit. And the pies are the bomb dot com slash tw. LOL. The exhibit (Inner Eye) runs 2/11 to 3/31. I hope I can make a trip back to actually taste some other pies in the next month or so. When friends are doing great things, it’s one of the best feelings to be able to share and embrace together. (: It was also quite the surprise when I was given a cake and sang happy birthday to... lol.. since... I’m officially 26.Officially, officially!!! IN MY MID 20s. Lordy goodness.  I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday.. I actually haven’t really wanted to celebrate since I turned 21.. I think the last few years, it was always everyone else making a bigger deal about it than me, myself... lol. I do appreciate everything that everyone has done. (: Photos of everything will follow as I compile everything.. slowly. Hahaha. But being treated to meals and given gifts always makes me feel like I’m... troublesome? Like, I just want everyone I care for, in my life.. to be happy and healthy.. And just greeting me with birthday wishes is more than enough, you know? I’ve yet to speak to my parents about my birthday so I need to make use of that long holiday I have to call and talk to them, properly.. Afterall, I gotta thank my parents for creating me. LOL. 

These weather changes during Winter have been killing my nose and my skin... It can go from about 50 degrees Fahrenheit one day to 75 degrees Fahrenheit the next day.. I was hit with a cold last Friday (the day of the exhibit) and I haven’t fully recovered at all.. I’ve been turning my trusty friend, NyQuil and wearing face masks (for others, not for me, I don’t believe in these things).. To the point where my ears feel a bit of pain from the elastic bands that allow the face mask to rest on my face.. Bleh. I hope I recover soon.. I know it always worries my parents when I come down with a cold.. And my body, isn’t the strongest.. As living in Taiwan and teaching kiddies has taught me. lol. BUT I’M GOING TO BECOME SO MUCH STRONGER AFTER THIS. lol. I hope.. I mean, each year should be more improvement than the previous, right? I’ve been at this for two years.. so let’s keep going!!

I will be making a trip home at the end of April... So I have that to start thinking about.. Among other things. 

It’s been a rough day but I’m not letting that get to me. I’m just going to sleep on it.. Afterall, life’s too short to dwell on the negative. I think that living in Taiwan and seeing how life can become so fragile so quickly has really made me mature and grow up faster than I ever thought I would do... Is that even proper English anymore..
