6th May 2020

We all went out for a trail walk except for Ash who had ths long meeting. You made us all packed sandwiches which we had later on and was delish. I had an apple in my jacket and rmmbered u didn't have anythin ths morning. Well we all didn't cos we didn't have the time. I broke the apple and gave the half to Rosie which she greatly appreciated while we shared the other half.

T'was a long walk and I enjoyed it, talkn to Rosie thn Sukie thn Sam took pics of me.. I wasn't avoiding you but I was bein careful cos I can be a bit clingy but thankfully it wasn't tht much of an effort to get distracted as I get lost in my world in the woods..

We got bck to the caravan, lounged for a while. I made ya'll some pasta with red creamy sauce tht hasn't got any meat innit cos Sukie was vegan and just threw pizza in the oven.. I missed cooking for friends. More lounging arnd, singing, vibing, talkin comfortably.

The sisters had to go so, the five of us went to town. After dropping them of we went straight to yours as Sam went away for few hrs.

We were left alone. We went outside and sat together while we talked. Not abt the kiss. I can't rmmber wht exactly we were tlkn abt but I rmmber I easily confessed tht

'I like you vry much. I rly do. I want to have you and keep you in my life as long as I can. As long as you let me be.'

Which earned me a smile of yours. Though I also made a point tht I wasn't sure if I want to be in a relationship right now and you made it clear tht u wntd to be friends. Truth be told, I know what I want. I just don't want to say it out loud. Yet. And I'm scared. Scared of rejection. Scared of causing hurt. Scared of vulnerability. dean meeting cas in a bar.

with a catch lol.

he’s not cas right now. he’s one of the most famous drag queens in the los angeles scene. he’s Angel (of the Fucklord) and he’s the most beautiful person dean has ever seen.

dean’s only 19 and he snuck into this bar, hoping to god he could maybe see someone that he loved here, but he couldn’t look any more out of place. wearing a big puffer jacket and big glasses on his face didn’t help anything.

but at least, somehow, he got into the bar, men’s eyes immediately turning to his twink booty. but he’s there to see the drag performance, and his favorite queen is performing tonight. known for her on trend looks and looking like an actual 23 year old girl from the valley, she wears a soft blonde lace front wig (by Vanity) and arrives on stage with her back turned. the crowd erupts into cheers, and dean smiles widely. he’d always dreamt of this.

she turns around and into the light to reveal beautifully done, almost no-makeup makeup for a drag queen (but she can definitely do heavy. that’s her other half), wearing a tight shirt with a v neck that has strings crossing along the dip, a soft pink leather jacket (faux, bc animals), a matching pink chocked, and denim booty shorts. then, the laced up thigh highs (louboutin, by the red bottom) that hug right up to her thick, clearly man (but insanely sexy) thighs.

it’s surprisingly easy for her to be muscular yet still pass as a girl like this.

her beautifully overdrawn pink lips stand out the most to dean.

she walks forward, no music playing quite yet. the men in the crowd roar, already handing money toward the stage for her to take.

and then, with rupaul’s “let the music play!” her song starts; Come Get Her by Rae Sremmurd.

She drops to a squat, smiling, enjoying herself as she went slowly back up, taking money as she rose. dean’s eyes lit up, reflecting the stage lights.

“Somebody come get her, she’s dancing like a stripper,” the song played, Angel laughing and running her hands along her body. during the rap parts of the song, she sang along, knowing every single word, pointing at some people as it would say, “you see me, in action, i’ve heard, a lot, a lot, about ya,” causing some people to laugh at her subtle yet sexy show.

she was never known to be over the top with her bar performances. some people could even call her a comedy queen.

by the time the song ended, she’d gathered a nice wad of bills and collected the rest at the end and after several other songs. Dean eagerly handing her $3. she took the bills while looking at somebody else, dean’s smile falling. maybe she could’ve at least seen him. but hey, it was a good show.

he sighed happily, turning and adjusting his glasses, lost in his thoughts, admiring her in his mind. her skill, fashion, take on drag, everything was exactly what he wanted to be. but he was a 19 year old boy from kansas lost in los angeles trying to find himself while trying to find everything else.

he went up the bar, stood by the counter, and ordered a water.

“you the driver tonight?” the bartender asked, and dean, going with it, returned with a, “yeah.”

as the bartender handed him the water, the bartender’s eyes had shifted from the glass to something in the distance, and a smile spread across his face.

“hey, angel! was wondering when i’d see you tonight!” he said with a pearly white smile, the drag queen shifting into a spot at the bar right next to dean.

dean’s eyes went wide. his mouth ripped open a bit too, but he hadn’t noticed.

jesus, she was gorgeous up close.

the bartender, knowing what she always ordered, handed her her drink and smiled.

it wasn’t until dean had stared for a good minute that Angel noticed him. her head turned, her hair falling off of her shoulder as she focused on the little boy standing next to her.

“oh my god.” dean said, smiling wider, “i love you.” woah, too much dean, too much, jesus–

Angel looked more weirded out than dean had ever seen.

“i mean–i’m a big fan,” he gushed, “i really really like your drag and performance and you dance really well and do great makeup i dunno you’re just a great drag queen–”

Angel nodded, almost ignoring him, but she had to admit, he was a cute little boy.

“yeah, yeah,” she said, sipping her drink from a straw. dean noticed that not a single bit of lipstick had transferred. impressive.

“i think you’re really beautiful. and from where i’m coming from– we don’t have any of this. like at all,” he chuckled, and Angel’s face softened. she looked down at him, into his eyes properly, as he spoke.

“i moved here to get away from my parents. they didn’t like that i was gay so i had to go somewhere and i have friends here you know. i just– i want to try drag but..” he sighed. if he kept going, Angel would think he was begging for a tutor, a Drag Mom, as they called it.

Angel could tell, though, what he was getting at. She saw it in his innocent eyes that he was serious and meant no harm. She saw it that he wasn’t here to call her hot, but to truly admire her art. She saw that he really did want to try all of this out. Because she’d been in that position before.

“You want me to teach you?”

Dean’s head lifted. His eyes lit up.

“I mean.. if you want, like, i guess, i can’t stop you but like wow i didn’t expect that oh my god,” he rambled, Angel chuckling and sipping her drink again.

“i could teach you.” she smiled and nodded.

“no way. okay. um, my name’s dean, i guess,” he giggled. this was too good to be true.

“Here,” she took out her phone, pushed her hair out of the way, and asked, “what’s your number? Text me and i’ll text you later.”

dean couldn’t have stumbled more over his words.
