Sorry but I wanna ramble cringely about Feathers and Minthara so here goes if I keep this in I'm gonna burst and toh the point of this blog is self ship nonsense anyway so-

I typically always make her give bird themed nicknames to others... like when I shipped her w/ Sniper, since she'd see him skinning things he's hunted often, she'd call him her shrike/butcher bird. Now I'm pairing her with Minthara I thought about it and I think she'd land on cuckoo. Which. Is an unfortunately named/associated bird for sure fjhdikfd.

I think Minthara gets heated thinking it’s some kinda weird insult/poking fun at first, especially because she doesn't want to be seen as mad or "cuckoo" like Orin or something. She thinks her actions are all well thought out, wtf is this giant bitch's problem. Which causes Feathers to autistically be like this:

And Minthara is just like because wow yeah okay that is... Feathers really thought about that huh. And. It does fit! That giant sure really knows her, really does dote on her thinking of silly things like a perfect bird comparison... coming from Feathers, an avian themed pet name really does mean a lot, and Minthara knows her well enough to know that at this point. Minthara is flattered by it and she's like god fucking damn it that she is… how has she let her heart be as warmed as it is by it. The autistic ornithology charisma... the nickname "cuckoo"... no… really? Yea, really… shes let it capture her...

EMBARRASSING. She probably concedes that its a lovely sentiment but insists feathers only ever use it in private since the others at camp would definitely tease about it hehe. And overtime it grows even more on her, the way Feathers always says it when she enters her tent :3

I just love Feathers looking at this random murderous drow and there's a thought bubble over her head of a cuckoo and she goes all warm inside like "Mmm my little cuckoo :D" They are both truly such a funny wacky pairing I feel like. I could talk abt them all fuckin' day I s2g Good God.
