I can't wait to see the finished product of A Strange Way of Life by Pedro Almodóvar.

I have the AU fanfiction in my head with Silva (Pedro Pascal's character) and Silas Selleck (Michael Fassbender's character in Slow West) as well as a crossover of character from both films and The Year of the Dog (I am still thinking what to do with the Kodi Smit McPhee issue).

But I need to watch A Strange Way of Life to know Silva and see how he and Silas will fit as a couple.

I also hope Almodovar doesn't give Silva a first name. Or we have the coincidence of the name Saul (or any first name with S)

I have some scenes and dialogues, but I still need to know Silva's personality.

Pedro finally doing something gay, something Cowboy, something with Almodóvar.

But because this world is not perfect, they cast Ethan Hawke (who, don’t get me wrong, is good), instead of Fassy who has already played an implicitly gay cowboy.

OK, Ethan already has gay cowboy experience. But I still want that Fassy-Pedro thing to happen, and I think Almodóvar would have been an ideal director.

I guess I will have to hope for Steve McQueen. And channel on starting to Publish my Shame Queer Fanfiction Sequel here.

OK, but first of all, I can’t afford HBO and only now I found out about a series about gay pirates directed by Taika Waititi and I want to know about alternative ways to watch it. In addition to cursing myself for letting that “Our Flag Means Death” (Sorry if I name it incorrectly; I just found out a few minutes ago) fly under my queer radar.

Bunch of folks want Taika to give Pedro an on-screen boyfriend.

So for me, I am all for it, but I will give Taika bonus points if he gives these birthday twins (OK, that’s not accurate as they were born two years apart) an on-screen couple they could play.

Taika has worked with both Pedro and Fassy.

But this sequence of GIFs has more of the Brandon-Esteban Shame Fanfic vibes I am working on for their birthday, than Taika vibes.
