Blue jeans baby! Venice is my absolute favorite place in LA. Before my family moved here, every time I came to LA, I'd stay at an airb&b in Venice. Dems Accuse Trump of “Glorifying White Supremacy” by Visiting Mt. Rushmore

It’s official: The Democratic Party has gone completely off the rails. We know, we know, that’s not news to anyone reading this right now. But there’s off the rails…and then there’s OFF THE RAILS. It is a Code Red emergency inside the Democratic National Committee right now, and we’re not sure if anyone in the party actually understands just how diseased the whole apparatus has become. These imbeciles have – whether because of true ideology or a cynical attempt to suck up to the Black Lives Matter/Progressive Left – abandoned even the pretense of sanity.

On Monday, @TheDemocrats, the official Twitter account of the DNC, tweeted out this beauty about Trump’s upcoming visit to Mt. Rushmore: “Trump has disrespected Native communities time and again. He’s attempted to limit their voting rights and blocked critical pandemic relief. Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore- a region once sacred to tribal communities.”

There is apparently at least one adult left in the building, because the tweet was subsequently deleted. But the fact that it was ever sent at all – that it was ever even conceived – is a damning glimpse into just how maniacal the modern left has become. Celebrating Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson is akin to “glorifying white supremacy” now? Was this written by a member of the Democratic Party or a teenager hoping to join Antifa? Is there any difference anymore?

“All the Republicans have to do is run on a ‘Hey, at least we’re not the Democrats’ platform,” tweeted Dave Rubin.

For real. Everyone was blathering on about how Trump didn’t have an answer when Sean Hannity asked him about his platform for his second term, but why should he bother coming up with such a thing? Trump had to run a proactive, fight-from-behind campaign the first time around. He was the underdog.

This time? He might be better off just sitting back and letting the Democratic Party hang themselves with their own rope. We will never be convinced that a majority of voting Americans actually buy into this pure nonsense currently passing for social justice. Tearing down statues, defunding police, and acting as though the plight of “black transgender women” is somehow the defining issue of our times? Come on.

FALL FORWARD // When I saw these Sea pants and this Veronica Beard blazer they were the first pieces added to my cart. They are from two of my favorite brands – and being life long lover of plaid – this fall, these pieces will be two of my closet all-stars. WEAR NOW // While there are endless awesome fall finds, there are also plenty of items that are ready to be worn now. When I saw this navy ponte dress with striped collar and bow sleeves I pictured it back to my favorite skirt from Nordstrom. I also scooped up this shirtdress, which I wore all weekend long (it’s also available in plaid here and stripes here). Skirts are always top of mind for me and this skirt just might be my favorite in the sale. 5 Things to Watch Today – July 11, 2017

After a fairly dark third season, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt returned on Wednesday for the first half of its fourth and final season, which deftly sets up the characters for the approaching end. The six new episodes find Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) working her first job doing HR for the tech company Giztoob, Titus (Tituss Burgess) trying to make it big in Hollywood in order to impress Mikey (Mike Carlsen), Jaqueline (Jane Krakowski) entering the workforce as Titus’ new agent, and Lillian (Carol Kane) being, well, Lillian

With only seven more episodes to go plus a potential finale film before Kimmy Schmidt bows out for good, these six episodes felt more precious than ever. And so if you’re anything like us, you’ve already watched them twice! That’s also in part because the Netflix comedy is so jam-packed with jokes it’s impossible to catch them all the first time — especially if you aren’t as trigger-happy with the pause button as we are.

But don’t worry, we combed through all six episodes and found the best of the best jokes you might have missed the first time around. How many of these did you catch?

1. Animal Chow, because humans are animals too!

2. Would you watch three seasons of Slinky on Escalator?

3. We don’t know which headline is our favorite: “Putting Your Backpack on in 3 Easy Steps!” or “The Teddy Bear: It’s Behind the Lamp?!”

4. Call Bethenny Frankel, because we spot a cheater brand.

Broderick Knob (born 2 April 1950) is an American real estate developer and collector of rare human skulls. He is the founder of Knob Properties and known for his investments in Miami real estate and his uncanny Mitch McConnell impersonation. Knob’s development projects include the Buco di Culo, Knob Tower, the Mordor, and the South Beach Blimp Club and Air Marina.

Knob was born into a working-class family in Hill Valley, California, the son of a disgraced gym teacher and an aspiring foot model.

In the 1980s, he moved to Florida after a series of failed ventures with longtime business partner Biff Tannen. He used his meager savings to invest in a piece of supposedly worthless swampland that turned out to be the site of Florida’s most lucrative bath-salt mine. He used his new-found fortune to invest in real estate and found Knob Properties in Miami. The company focused on the South Fishcheck neighborhood, which was then transitioning into an arts community from its former identity as a red-light district for pescephiles. Since 2013, Knob has owned and managed 1.3 million square feet of commercial space in South Fishcheck. He ranks fifth on the list of wealthiest Miami residents, right between Daniel Marino and Terrence “Hulk” Hogan.

In the 1990s, he purchased a number of oceanfront plots in Miami and developed numerous properties, including the $900 million Knob Towers, $600 million South Beach Blimp Club and Air Marina, and the $166 million Buco di Culo in Sunny Isles Beach.

Knob is also the landlord of the luxury toilet retailer Le Plopper.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is available on Netflix now. The premiere date for the final seven episodes has not yet been announced.

Our Growing Family

S U R P R I S E ! Our family will be growing by one with the addition of our baby girl this February. These last few months have been some of the most exciting and memorable of our lives and we are so thrilled for what's to come. We feel so blessed to have a healthy, growing baby and have been busy preparing for/soaking in this new stage of life. It is amazing how much a baby truly changes everything. I already have so much love for our sweet baby girl and I haven't even met her yet. 

We took a much needed vacation down to Miramar Beach, Florida this past weekend with family and friends. It was so nice to relax and let loose after a busy summer of house renovations. We ventured down to the beach during our last morning there to snap these pictures during a stunning sunrise. Teddy, our first born frenchie, told us that he cannot wait for the new baby's arrival and is so happy we decided to get him a playmate (kidding of course, but we know he'll love her). I'll be sharing my first trimester overview on the blog soon - complete with what got me through it. Thank you all for following us through this new stage of life!
