making a separate post abt this bc i feel like it uhhh
my danganronpa i do what i want!!
in my fanganronpas, pretty much all of them, all of my characters are typically college age adults (miscontructed memoirs was my first case of this where i explicitly said they were college students)
to make this more obvious i decided to make a distinction between super high school levels and ultimates in my personal fangans
super high school levels = actual high schoolers
ultimates = typically college level adults (usually early 20s)
for example in gacharonpa: ctrl+alt+dlt every character is a college level adult, EXCEPT for rion! rion is under 18, meaning she's a super high school level and not an ultimate in my universe
considering that this killing game is set post-v3, i decided to tweak some of the main hope's peak academy plotline a little to fit my narrative, this is a post-makoto world meaning someone new has the headmaster position, and as such the rules have been changed!
(which basically just includes an expansion of the school to have a college-level branch, it's not like everyone stops being good at their talents the second they become an adult yknow...)

Gacha Fangan SYOC OPEN
I'm hosting a SYOC for Danganronpa if anyone is interested in joining! It's in Gacha and the series will be centered around YouTube.
There will be 18 total characters, six spots are currently filled, but that leaves 12 slots open for anyone who is interested!
I'll be writing out the story before actually posting bits of the actual story, but character intros will be made as characters are accepted into the fangan and when I have time.
You can audition through YouTube (@ me please if you don't do it in the comments of one of my videos), Discord (My discord is rolldiamonds), or Tumblr, depending on where you feel most comfortable.

For anyone who is interested, the rules are as follows --
Only human characters allowed
Lil Ultimates allowed
Ages 8-20
Can only audition twice
No double Ultimates (They can lie about their Ultimate but they may not actually possess more than one title.)
Please note --
If your Oc is accepted, they may die. As you are signing them up for a killing game, survival is not a guarantee.
Please leave me a way to contact you (YT, Discord, Etc.)
Leave the Offline codes for them, not the online ones. As I am using a laptop, I can't use online ones.
If you are accepted, I will be putting your Oc in my style, that way all the characters "match". I won't be changing any details such as clothing and the like, unless for whatever reason it completely conflicts with my style (Which I don't see happening), but if that happens I will try and get it as similar and as close as possible.
Feel free to make videos of your Oc if they are accepted or before they are accepted! Please @ me though, if you choose to do so. (This would help me get a better idea of the character I'm writing.)
The posting of the game may take a while since I want to write out the story first, that way I don't back myself into a plot whole later

I apologize for taking so long to write fanfiction. Because l had a fever and an ankle sprain. I hope to be able to feel better next week or tomorrow.

THE ULTIMATE MOVIE CRITIC
People who critique movies could very rarely do the same things themselves. At least, that's what Kei always believed from the reviews he saw online. He had a bad habit of checking movie reviews before he watched something. But very rarely could he do so. Why? Because the reviews never gave him what he wanted.
They would be untagged spoilers of major plot details, or they would complain about drama between actors and directors, or they would be blatant misinformation that had nothing to do with the film, or in the worst of cases they would be complete and utter nonsense that not even the most intelligent of AI could sift through and understand. Kei was sick of seeing all these false reviews online. So, he stopped reading them. Instead, he started making reviews.
It began from a small forum of movie reviewers on the internet, in the form of the comment section. His reviews were long, with a TL;DR; always readily available at the top of the review. He left out major spoilers, he cut out the drama and the misinformation, and he stuck to the plot. His early reviews were short and concise, but they earned him the position of an official reviewer on the website he frequented.
Important agencies took notice of not only his upkeep with his reviews, but his wordplay and the foreshadowing he left even in his own writing. Being a movie critic is a job after all, and the agencies were interested in his abilities. He didn't know that you could be paid to review films, but he was willing to accept if it meant honing his passion even further.
It was no surprise when a letter from Hope's Peak Academy showed up at his door. He had to make time out of his busy movie-watching and reviewing schedule to read it, and it took days before he was able to acknowledge it properly. Naturally, he had to apologize for his lateness, something that the staff could excuse only because he was further honing his talent in his absence.
So, he was getting paid to review movies, he was getting grants and scholarships from the academy, and most of the time he didn't even have to go into the building to continue his job... he was living a luxury life by doing virtually nothing. What a dream, eh?

Yua walked around everywhere. She was really worried, but she wasn’t worried about just anybody. No. She was worried....about Shion. No matter how much Yua looked, Shion was nowhere to be found, not even in her own dorm room. Really worried, she ran up to none other than the Ultimate Theorist (Or Ultimate AI), Ayumi Haruka.
“Yumi-san, Yumi-san! I need to ask you something!” Yua ran up to Ayumi. “What do you need, Kaoniha?” Ayumi looked confused, but listened, thinking it was important.
“Do you know where Mochizuki-san is? I couldn’t find her anywhere, and I’m really worried..” Ayumi already knew Yua had a thing for Shion, and all, but she was taken aback in surprise, considering nobody had really worried.
“She might be in the library. I saw her running in that direction earlier, but I didn’t wanna bother her, so I guess you can-” Yua beamed at the response. “Thanksies, Yumi-san! I’ll be off now!” She ran off to the library, before Ayumi even got to finish her sentence. “-Try to speak to her....”
After a few minutes of running, Yua made it to the library, and searched, just to find Shion. Shion being sat down against a bookcase, in a depressing position, Yua looked a little down. She walked up to the smaller girl, and spoke.
"Mochizuki-san...Is something wrong? I'm worried about you...and I was looking for you.." Shion, still in her depressing posture was surprised. She didn't think Yua cared about her that much to look for her. Still, she hesitantly spoke.
"I'm fine....I promise, Yua-chi...It's nothing..." Yua knew better than that. Shion was obviously lying to make Yua go away, but she knew something was behind her lies. "Mochizuki-san...I know something is wrong...You can tell me anything..." Yua spoke calmly, sitting down, and lightly playing with Shion's hair.
"Okay...I'll tell you...I just...-" Shion was interrupted by Yua holding the smaller girl in her arms. "It's alright...Take your time.." Yua spoke in a soft voice, to calm the girl down. "I just never had anybody who cared about me before. From what I know, my mother had died while giving birth to me, and my father wanted nothing to do with me, so I was always alone, and mistreated.." Shion spoke quietly, as her voice broke down.
“Heyheyhey, Mochizuki-san! Please don’t cry...” Yua quickly reacted by hugging the smaller girl tightly, to which Shion hugged back. “Y-Yua-Chi...” Shion spoke softly. “What is it Mochizuki-san?” Yua asked.
“I-I have to admit. Your the closest person to me here...And I’ve been...developing feelings...for you....so what I’m saying is-” Shion was interrupted by Yua kissing her on the cheek. “That you love me?” She giggled. “Yeah..”
Long story short, Yua and Shion are now dating.
