Volt looked up from the book he had been reading at the counter. More often than not, if someone was brand new to the village, the residents would direct the wayward soul to the Inn first before anything else. That way Volt had first hand knowledge of who was moving about and could deal with accordingly. The face wasn’t one he recognized but they seemed friendly enough, if a bit under dressed for the mountain village winter, but it wouldn’t be hard to find them clothing if they needed.
The fact that Fafo had barely even rolled over to look at the other in the doorway from where he was sprawled out in a window spoke volumes to the hybrid.
“I’m going to take a bit o’ a guess and say that ya might not be used t’ multiverse travel, but you’re in Sternenberg. A mountain village that really usually only gets visits from people who need some time t’ get away.” He offered a smile and opened the register book that was off to the side.
“Can I interest you in a room for the night? At least until ya feel like headin’ home.”

Yes batnatasha, I do believe Satanism is what MM and her crew are about. I hope PH hasn’t been down that path. They do like to entrap and corrupt people, especially those who, for whatever reason, are hedonistic and/or lost and therefore vulnerable. I thought PH seems more himself on his recent visit to the hospital. Does Anons latest riddle suggest his army mates are there for him? Soldiers are brothers in arms, a family.
I have to say Doria is a very suspect character and I am familiar with the dark side of the “yoga church” she was/is involved with. A friend of mine ended up in a psychiatric unit after going too far down that path. Twenty years later, she now lives as a shambling and broken recluse. No rich, famous and influential friends to proper her up in a “carefully curated” world . How I detest that phrase these artists, fashion people and bloggers use ad nauseum.
I was very happy for PH when he “found love” and didn’t pay much attention at first but when she was in my country, Australia, the news was saturated with her (some of us are sentimental about Old Blighty, our motherland). I could tell something was very, very wrong with his new bride and could go on forever about what people of MM’s ilk are like. It’s enough to say that it involves humiliation and corruption of good, if not innocent, souls.
Research is my passion as well as history, nature and animals which is why I enjoy Skippy’s blog so much. There are a lot of clever, beautiful-minded people here and I love their work. I think we have all been educated by you here Skippy, may God bless you always, may truth prevail and I hope everyone has a beautiful day/evening wherever you are.

Built by challenges
G'day, mates! This is something that one of my best friends emailed me this week: "I read your weekly update for this past week and I kept having this funny idea that you are like metal being put into a red hot fire (Australia) and shaped into a beautiful work. Love the idea that we are built into something great by some of our hardest challenges."
His email has inspired timing, because this last week has been full of some pretty hard challenges. I've had to rely on the mercies of the Saviour's Atonement as I've tried to be a better leader and make amends to certain people I've accidentally offended with my enthusiasm. I've been brought to my knees several times this last week, but I've received strength from the Holy Spirit and from the truths in these verses of scripture:
Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Here is what I am deciding to do as I move forward: I'VE DECIDED TO HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE ABOUT LIFE. Rather than just continuing to plug along, I'm going to throw a party every day. I'm going to LEARN how to be a better leader! I'm going to pray my guts out and then POSITIVELY act on the things the Spirit tells me! I'm going to make amends with the people that I've accidentally offended, and I'm going to ask if I can start over with them. I'm going to stop kicking myself for feeling inadequate, and realize that EVERYBODY feels inadequate.
I'm going to pray for myself and for each of you in your individual journeys. I testify that the Saviour's Atonement has the power to shape us into celestial beings who can dwell with God throughout the eternities. I know that we can do it through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and I testify that heaven is cheering us on as we take each daily step toward perfection. I love you all.
