Like, whenever Fuyuto is feeling down or is homesick, Shohei’s always there with a bowl of rice and will sit with him as he eats it, and it always makes Fuyuto feel better. So like, Shohei’s crying cause he misses his mother and his village? Fuyuto will bring him a bowl of rice and sit with him, and Shohei just smiles up at his friend as he wipes his tears and accepts the bowl of rice

No but Fuyuto %100 has a crush on Tanjiro, like when Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke were doing rehabilitation training, the Tsugoku would often be asked to help out by Aoi, who really just wanted to boss them all around and watch Inosuke and Zenitsu get clobbered. But like when Fuyuto met Tanjiro, he was so nice to him it caught Fuyuto off guard and he ended up not throwing the drink in Tanjiro’s face during reflex training, and Aoi gave him an earful
Aoi: THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS! Why didn’t you splash him with the water? He needs to get better! If you’re not gonna do the full exercise, why did you volunteer to help?

The Tsugoku and their respective Hashira’s
Aiho + Mitsuri
THEY ARE LITERALLY JUST GAL PALS. Like they are the same age and are totally best friends, they like to gossip about the other Hashira and Tsugoku’s, and they’re like those teachers who move the seating chart so that students who are crushing on each other sit next to each other. So they’ll tease each other about Obanai and Kenshiro while they eat 8 bowls of ramen each, but Mitsuri will always be willing to listen to Aiho talk about her former fiancé, and they’ll cry together about it cause the story always makes Mitsuri so sad cause TRAGIC LOVE STORIES HIT DIFFERENT FOR HER
Fuji + Shinobu
First things first, Fuji ADORES Kanao and doesn’t mind that she doesn’t talk much and is extremely patient with her and her inability to make decisions for herself. Then with Shinobu, he’s an obedient and hard working student, and he’s always excited to help her develop new poisons to use against demons, and they both get so weirdly giddy about testing them out and watching the demon writhe in pain. And with the other Butterfly Girls, he thinks of them as his little sisters so he’s very protective of them and yes he and Aoi will get into sass battles because they both think their way is the correct way
Shohei + Tomioka
You KNOW Tomioka met this boy and learned he lost his best friend to demons, and he was all YOU ARE MY FRIEND NOW. COME. And Shohei was glad to find someone who could understand, and someone who wasn’t annoyed that he can’t talk (out of choice). So like while everyone else is eating lunch in groups, these two awkward loners are sitting together off to the side. And Shohei and Fuji totally have a love hate relationship like Tomioka and Shinobu do, so whenever they get into a fight with the other, they just sit with each other and are all “I’m well liked, right-?”
Sadako + Obanai
She actually does sword swallowing, so like Obanai’s just staring at her swallowing her sword and is just all “Aight, I know I’m weird but what is wrong with you-“. And he doesn’t mind her creepy smile, after all his can be considered creepy as well and he actually feels comfortable enough around her to take his bandages off. She’s very fiery, so he helps her learn focus and control. And like I said, they set up play dates for their snake and scorpion because of course they would, those are their besties right there. And whenever he’s trying to be cool and mysterious sitting in a tree, she likes to sneak up on him and scare the shit out of him to humble him (and YES she will tease him about Mitsuri, her and Aiho scheme to get them together)
Fuyuto + Muichiro
Fuyuto respects Muichiro and damn near worships the ground he walks on. Like he thanks him everyday for training him and bows before him, and Muichiro is just all “Okay, cool-“ and goes with it. And if someone disrespects Muichiro because of his age and they don’t take him seriously, Fuyuto pulls a Yushiro and the soft spoken koi boi just yells “HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT MUICHIRO TOKITO! BOW DOWN YOU IDIOT!” and Muichiro kinda likes it but will tell him to relax a bit
Kenshiro + Gyomei
Nobody knows why a sweetheart like Gyomei would want to take in a little brat like Kenshiro, but they actually work really well together. Gyomei is one of the only people that Kenshiro truly respects, so whenever he’s acting too out of line, Gyomei just gives him the Face of Disappointment and Kenshiro shuts up. Kenshiro also uses a giant axe tethered to a chain as his weapon as well, and since his breathing style is derived from Stone Breathing, of course Gyomei wanted to guide and help him
Yukio + Tengen
Yes she will give him a hard time, but she does love him like a father since her own sold her off to an oiran house without a care in the world, and Tengen helped Suma get her out of the house. So like there are moments where she’s chill with him and happy like how she is with Suma, Makio and Hina. Like she’ll be making one of her fellow tsugoku’s a birthday card and being 10, she’s got scribbley handwriting and he sits down with her and is all “You know what this needs? Some flashiness. Where did Makio hide the glitter?” If she had a really good day in training too, him and the wives will take her out for bubble tea (her favorite thing ever, she LOVES the strawberry kinda) and she’ll smile up at him with a sticky face and he just grins and wipes the juice off her face and little hands
Himawari + Kyojuro
Obviously, they get along great. After training they’ll go out to eat together, and when they go home they both help Senjuro out with his training. They both feel bad for leaving him there to deal with their father, but they can’t exactly bring him on their missions. But like the siblings all hype each other up since their dad refuses to do so. And in my AU, Rengoku did fight Akaza but SURVIVED so she was blaming herself for not being able to help him enough, but even lying in the hospital bed he loudly assured her it wasn’t her fault and she did the best she could and that he was proud of her
Meiling + Sanemi
Surprisingly they mutually respect each other, Sanemi doesn’t treat her badly like everyone thinks he might. They both train relentlessly, and have to be on the brink of exhaustion to finally call it quits. But the difference is that Meiling will continue to fight with broken bones and other injuries, and Sanemi or Misha have to step in and make her stop. But since he knows of the abuse she went through with her demonic father, he doesn’t yell at her so much. While he’s training her he will catch himself yelling but will stop when he sees the look on her face, and he just sees her as a little sister that he needs to be all tough love with

Shohei also does like to keep to himself, people tease him saying he’s friendless like his mentor (LOOK TOMIOKA SLANDER IS KINDA FUNNY AND HE WOULD PICK THE TSUGOKU WHO DOESNT WANT FRIENDS). But Fuyuto enjoys his company, he’s not much of a talker either so they just like to sit in silence with some company. So like sometimes they’ll meditate near the trickling stream, sometimes they’ll do origami together and drink a new rare tea one of them got ahold of, stuff like that and honestly it’s adorable. They also go apple picking together and randomly give people apples when they feel like it
Shohei: *hands Tomioka an apple in the middle of an argument with Shinobu*
Tomioka: What’s this for?
Fuyuto: He says “An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”
Shinobu: Okay that’s kinda funny I’ll admit-

Fuyuto Kazahana, Age 15, The Koi Tsugoku
Fuyuto comes from a small fishing town, he was kind of like the Hercules or Luisa Madrigal of the town, always helping out and having way more strength and skill than normal. He had amazing reflexes and agility, and would protect the town from demon attacks. But the demons became too much for him to handle as he wasn’t properly trained or had a sword, so he’ll was sent his way and he caught the attention of Muichiro Tokito, who was impressed by his natural talent. Fuyuto doesn’t give a damn that he’s a bit older than the Hashira, he’s honored to have caught his eye in the first place and even more grateful for being given the opportunity to train under such a person. He’s very soft spoken and generally quiet, but he’s extremely sweet and just likes to make people happy

Okay but you rarely ever see Fuyuto’s hands, there’s no reason he hides them, he just likes oversized clothing and sleeves that go past his hand. Like his haori is purposely too big on him and goes past his fingertips, so even while fighting his hands are concealed. But like WHEN HE PICKS SHIT UP HES GOT HIS SLEEVES OVER HIS HANDS SO ITS JUST ADORABLE

I think I’ll make Fuyuto mixed as well like Meiling, so I’m thinking he’ll be Japanese, Chinese and Filipino (he gets his golden tan skin from his Filipino mother, his father is Japanese and Chinese), cause like with his thing being Koi Fish, they’re very sacred in China as well and represent the Yin and Yang, and I want one of his moves to be something related to that
But plus he’d also totally be super into Feng Shui, like, his room is organized perfectly to the rules and he notices immediately if even a pencil is moved too far right, or if he didn’t set his cup down in the right spot-

Okay but if the tsugoku’s were canon, them having episodes with the Kamaboko Squad like how the Hashira all eventually accompany them on a mission-
Katsuki’s episode would be her and Inosuke arguing the whole time and getting in each other’s way trying to fight demons, and them having to figure out how to work together
Shohei’s episode is just Tanjiro trying to befriend him the whole time, and Inosuke likes him cause he pulls rice out of nowhere for him-
Fuyuto’s would be the cute nervous guy having to work with a bunch of strangers, and he blushes every time Tanjiro talks to him and Zenitsu already caught on and is rolling his eyes to the sky the whole time
THEN SADAKOS EPISODE WOULD BE SO FUNNY CAUSE ITS INOSUKE CALLING HER ‘CREEPY BUG LADY’ THE WHOLE TIME, TANJIRO BEING CONFUSED CAUSE SHE DOESNT SMELL LIKE A DEMON BUT HOW IS SHE NOT, AND ZENITSU BEING TERRIFIED OF HER AND HER JUST SMILING TO SCARE HIM MORE

Fuyuto %100 has social anxiety too, like he’s a really sweet kid once you get to know him, but it’s really hard to get to know him cause he’s so shy. Like whenever Muichiro takes him on a mission and they have to walk through town, Fuyuto’s kinda holding onto Muichiro’s sleeve and nervously trying not to make eye contact with anybody, and Muichiro honestly doesn’t even notice it anymore cause he’s chill with his student quite literally clinging onto him for dear life-

Fuyuto also has a hobby of catching fireflies, he lets them go at the end of the night but he’ll be walking around the forest carrying a lamp full of fireflies to light his way, and he likes to talk walks at night to clear his head a lot. Or if he’s on a mission he’ll do the same rather than lighting a fire, just cause he thinks the fireflies are prettier and help him relax before a big conflict with a demon
