I've debated whether I should make this post, but here it goes:
A few weeks back, I reported several openly f4scist and neo-n4zi blogs and to my surprise, some of them actually got nuked by Tumblr. Unfortunately, a few are still up and running. I don't want anyone following this blog to interact with these losers, so I'll just discuss the kind of content I saw being posted:
Incredibly disgusting racist and antisemitic cartoon illustrations,
Lots of pictures of their favorite führer smiling, hugging kids, etc.,
Greco-Roman statues. So. Many. Greco. Roman. Statues,
Pictures of Swiss milk maid looking girls with text on top that said things like "I only want to live around white people!" and "Make beautiful white babies",
Pictures of physically attractive white women wearing or standing next to f4scist symbols,
The most batshit insane conspiracy theories, including one guy who sincerely thought the earth was flat,
All these posts about European identity and unity, which is so beyond fucking stupid because it actually erases cultural individualism more than immigrants and refugees ever could (and they actually don't want to!),
Christian Identity hogwash, ie f4scists who think white Europeans are the "real" Israelites, which once again is so fucking stupid because the historical Jesus of Nazareth was a brown-skinned Palestinian Jew,
An extreme dislike of Ben Shapiro - not because of his right-wing propaganda, mind you - but solely because he's Jewish,
Rock Against C0mmunism sk1nh3ads who've been listening to the same shitty bands for 30 years,
NSBM musicians posting their asinine Third R31ch worship jams ("Empire of a Thousand Years" and yet your shit got wrecked in less than twelve years 🤡),
Some sad female f4scists who seriously try to argue that women were treated better under f4scistic regimes, and
Fundamentally unfunny "humor" via stale Pepe memes .
Overall, it's a bunch of sad, pitiful goobers who probably want to blame their shortcomings in life on anybody but themselves.
Many years ago, there was a popular "aesthetic" blogger here who was an open neo-n4zi, and when I made a post about the kind of horrible shit he was posting (with screenshots ), I got anon messages from his pathetic fangirls saying "I hope you get r4ped by N-words". I traced their IP addresses and one of them lived in the Nashville area. All I could do was tell them to go fuck themselves and block them.
Now we have so-called Leftists on Tumblr trying to claim certain noise/industrial bloggers here are "crypto-f4sh" just to ruin reputations while ACTUAL f4scist pieces of shit on this site get ignored. Fuck those kinds of virtue signalers, too. Get your hands dirty and look for the actual n4zi scum on this website and report them instead of harassing people who aren't awful.

Demo Review: Fenriz - A Funeral of Light (1996)
Ok so there's like no info on this band online that I've found, I have a policy of not reviewing NSBM (for the record) and the Polish scene (where this band comes from) is a minefield of sketchy politics but as far as I know they're clean. If im wrong abt this lmk n ill look further into it. all ik is that this demo goes hard as fuck
The first thing I want to talk about is the production, actually. This is DEFINITELY raw black metal. Everything sounds muffled, like it was recorded under water, you can barely hear the snare drum, you can't hear the cymbals at all, and the vocals are completely drowned out by everything else. All in all, it's lovely. I think the minimalistic sound makes for pretty perfect kvlt black metal, and this band is a huge inspiration for my own project, actually.
Next up has to be the guitar work. The guitar playing on this demo is phenomenal, with plenty of menacing riffs, eerie melodies, etc etc. I think the production serves the guitar particularly well as it gives it a kinda otherworldly feeling (like on Burzum's first demo) and the minimalistic songwriting let's the guitars stand out as the driving force behind this demo.
The drums are the only other instrument audible, so we're gonna talk about them next because we have to. The drumming is great, whoever drummed on this (metal archives says all of the instruments were played by one person named Thorn) can play with the best of them in this genre. The drumming is written well too, with plenty of blasts and a healthy dose of slower bits. It all feels natural and fluid, and only being able to hear the kick and the lower freqs of the snare drums is honestly a pretty cool effect. It's like the drum production on Transylvanian Hunger turned up to 11, with only the pieces of the kit absolutely necessary to get the rhythms audible.
The vocals are also fantastic. Thorn utilizes a somewhat-pained sounding high rasp that sounds totally sick and manages to cut through the thick guitar pretty easily. It almost sounds like the vocals are sitting on top of the instruments but in a cool way not a shitty production way.
Overall, this is one of my favorite black metal demos ever. I'm not going to give it as high of a rating as I think it deserves because I have to stick to my principles on how I rate these things or I'll rate everything 10/10, but it's easily like a 9/10 in my heart. I wouldn't recommend this to a newcomer to the genre, I don't think it's an essential listen even for experienced black metal fans, but it has a special place in my heart for being ridiculously raw, well played, well written, and all around dope as hell.

I finally found one of the “Is the metal band Nazis?” sites again.
Apparently Nazi bands have their own fun little acronym now? National Socialist Black Metal--NSBM--as opposed to Red and Anarchist Black Metal, or RABM.
The reason it can be a bit difficult to figure out sometimes, aside from a lot of the music being in languages you don’t necessarily speak and also growled/yelled/Gregorian chanted over half an orchestra and three drummers, is that it’s like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. The fun new project you’ve found and really like can have completely innocuous music and aesthetics, but then you look it up and find out that 5/6s of the members’ main gigs are with Nazi bands. Which, you know, if the goal is “Do not give Nazis money”...
But the documentation section of the lists is fucking wild. You’re going through it and it’s like:
“They had a Nazi guest artist one time but kicked them out once everyone was like ‘Hey, they’re a Nazi!’ and haven’t hired any known Nazis since then.”
“They claim to be apolitical and have made no political statements in their entire twenty-year history. The band members have only ever been associated with this one project, which exclusively sings about a Cthulhuesque space slug they made up.”
“This band has only ever worked with this specific anti-fascist label, but their drummer is an admitted cannibal.”
“They say they’re not political but they keep collaborating with Nazis.”
“Their frontman stabbed a guy in a bar for looking at him funny, but not in a Nazi kind of way.”
“Well, uh, here’s their last album cover...” and it’s just “This image is blocked due to legal restrictions in your country! :)”
“Pinned top post on all their social media is ‘Nazi punks fuck off.’”
“Frontman is a convicted pedophile with no known opinions about white supremacy.”
“They’ve never said anything one way or another, but they’re signed with Nazi Record Label for Nazis.”
“Lead guitarist burned down a church one time but has consistently maintained that it was due to Satanism, not Nazism, and insists that Satan doesn’t discriminate on the basis of gender, sexuality, color, or ethnicity.”
“Last side project was doing main vocals for that guitarist who stormed the Capitol on January 6th.”
“Varg Vikernes.”

I can barely believe there's a black metal album that is actually titled "Preserving the Cross and Flag". But then again it's also NSBM. The artist behind it is a neo-Nazi named Rivfader and his past projects include an O9A-themed band, which means there is good reason to assume he's yet another case of O9A members performing "insight roles" (doing they're thing under the guise of something else), perhaps ostensibly having converted to Christianity some time ago while actually still being an O9A member.
It's all very shady stuff, but also I guess it's time to bully "unblack metal" musicians again.
