I noticed something about Frank’s Homewarming outfit…

His sweater is the exact same color as…

THE PEA!

I’ve seen theories suggesting that the pea could represent Eddie and the isolation he experienced leading up to the Homewarming party, as well as Home’s/Playfellow Workshop’s disapproval of his feelings for/relationship with Frank. While I like this theory, I’m wondering if the pea could also somehow represent Frank.

In addition to being a reminder that Home is always watching (hence the pea on the plate resembling an eye), this could be Home sending a subliminal message to Eddie that he had better leave Frank alone as if Frank is the pea on the plate. Some people have speculated that Eddie will be completely absent from the next update as he will have been taken off the show, but what if we see Eddie avoid Frank instead, perhaps even suggesting to Frank that he spend more time with Julie instead?

Something I noticed in the Welcome Home update is that Eddie is commonly associated with the ground, carrying a heavy load, and being weighed down. In contrast, Frank is associated with small, light, and delicate insects, some of which, like butterflies, can fly. This is even further reflected in their overall physiques, with Eddie being heavyset and Frank being more slim.

The storybook recording “Eddie’s Big Lift” obviously focused on Eddie, and the song demo “Just So” focused on Frank. “Eddie’s Big Lift” sounds like “As Above” and “Just So” sounds like “So Below”, doesn’t it?

Could this be meant to foreshadow their relationship and/or suggest that they will swap places somehow, or acquire (some of) each other’s traits?
