I Have Returned

Against my better judgment, I have returned to Tumblr. As far as I am aware, no callout post against me even exists, and none forthcame. I perhaps was a bit too hasty in leaving Tumblr, having jumped the gun and assuming the worst. But you know what they say: “When you assume, you make an [BEEP] out of you and me.” However, some changes are coming forth, for the sake of my mental health: • ask-the-special-cossack-numbers and zoroarkandroid are both going on indefinite hiatus, possibly even discontinued for good. Both blogs will become archives, not deleted, but there will no longer be activity on either one. • Additionally, I am dropping out of the Mega Man RP fandom here on Tumblr. I have unfollowed a few Mega Man blogs here, most of them dead blogs, but three are still active. For those three, I have unfollowed two and am still following that mun’s art blog. The other, I’m still following but will unfollow as soon as I can follow a different blog of theirs that is an art blog, if they have one. Don’t want to lose contact with those two muns, after all. • teamwario-wareinc will remain inactive for now. I haven’t been able to bring myself to launch this blog. How to put this? I feel rather intimidated by the sheer size of the Mario RP community. And I just…I’m finding it difficult to find my muse. I’m finding that running RP blogs and running ask blogs just isn’t for me, in general. I”m just…not happy when running RP blogs. It feels like the barrier to entry is too high, or perhaps I’m setting the bar too high for myself, or something of that sort. The bottom line is that running RP blogs and running ask blogs just isn’t for me.

To be frank, I wouldn’t have returned at all if not for a friend of mine returning to Tumblr whom I feel obligated to follow and help them out, due in part to having promised them in the past to help them with their project, and I was not expecting them to return to Tumblr.
