New Year's Resolutions: RP Edition

Howdy all, Ash here. I've been having a think while with family this week, and I've decided I'm going to implement some new 'resolutions' to try and help make writing in 2024 be way more successful than in 2023. This will include things from the running of blogs to jobs I really want to get finished. I'm putting them under a read-more to keep the dash nice and clean.

I will say, this has taken me an hour to write up, and I'd recommend you doing likewise if you think there's little ways you want to improve.

Overall Running of Blogs

I'm going to experiment a new approach to running the blogs. For this, I'm going to put all active blogs to low-medium activity. In other words, even if I am personally lurking on mobile, I won't be constantly writing things if I'm not able to. (Work is just about to get super busy and I'm anticipating chaos)

A queue/schedule function will be used for all blogs. I intend to dedicate one weekday evening to working without interruption on replies. Taking commutes to the city and family visits into account, this is looking to be a Thursday, which is the only day I am neither travelling to the city nor have a guaranteed family visit. Of course, this may fluctuate, but that's what I'm hoping to work with, assuming those things stay as they are.

However! What all this means is that I am going to tentatively take skullandbowties off hiatus. With that blog being quiet, it should be possible to juggle it better now. Plus, it's officially off-season so the demand for him from new blogs ought to be low. I'm very smart :D

I also plan to update all pinned posts. I am aware some of them are marking a vacation from months ago.

Individual Blog Maintenance

Create "New Here?" posts to add to the pinned posts/info tags. This is going to be a very quick crash course on what to expect from the blog, especially where some characters might diverge from fanon expectations.

FINISH. WILF'S. BIO. It's not actually relevant to anything being written on the blog itself at present, but I really want to flesh out his character and show that he was stuck in stories for years, decades even! The doc has the word count to 4,888 at this precise moment. This is a mix of summary and brainstorm. Since it's getting a 'little' out of hand, I intend to have a 'tldr' at the start that people can read, and then longer versions if they're curious to get the full story. Maybe even have it that they can jump to particular parts but... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Likewise, Noah's version of Space needs to be finished. This one is going to be a summary, but it's a case of making sure the pieces are in place sufficiently to have parts match canon Space, but also make it clear that there is a lot of differences between canon and what he went through, with his plot entirely spiralling away for 'Part 2'. This is at 5,794 words, and the ending has yet to be ironed out...

(I am going to stop creating needlessly long-winded projects for myself that realistically add nothing of value to my blogs. These two projects are exhausting...)

Theauthorlives is returning to a very small multimuse. Any muses that aren't ones I genuinely enjoy writing are being fully archived, unless they are muses that get no traction but I want to keep the possibility open. Details of that will be shared when I do this.

Redo some muse icons (not all of them!). Though the selection I have for particular sets is a lot, I still feel like I'm missing some expressions or poses. I would like to remake one batch of icons for three characters, and finish iconning a third. Replies seem to be shifting toward iconless, but I like them for asks or IC commentaries.

OOC/Mun Related stuff

Following matters that have happened both online and IRL, I've decided to take a step back from actively engaging with people. My focus will be people that I have been in good communication with for the last twelve months (as well as people I don't talk to frequently but am on friendly terms with) rather than people I feel I have to 'chase' after. Saying that, I'm going to try and not let past experiences meddle with anything in with new writing partners - whether these are brand new to the community or people I've not had the chance to properly interact with prior to this. Just be aware that I might not be super outgoing at first. (This is where setting limits and boundaries is good practice, everyone! Don't sell yourself short, and don't spread yourself out too thinly!)

Which is where I now say I want to send even more asks! Not just memes or sentence starters, but general questions about headcanons or muse opinions. I want to get people thinking more.

My stance on Discord still stands, in that it's solely for OOC stuff, but I'm not giving it out to everyone. However, I have been in two group servers that have little-to-no connection with writing rp threads in them. I would hope that I can fully regain my sense of comfort using Discord as a whole.

Art related

Despite socially stepping back, I still want to keep some semblance of 'community' where my blogs are active so people don't feel isolated. For instance, I want to do something that encourages invasions of ask boxes. That was good fun to watch as the chaos began to spread, and when people are good-humoured to go along with my silly ideas.

I want to have one huge art-related event at some point this year. I'm not entirely what or how to do it, but I think it would be a great excuse to practice something. Portraits, comics, something like that. I'll have a think. (For those who remember, the water gun event was supposed to have an art conclusion but plans for that fell through.)

I want to try and upload drawn responses to heythereneighbor once a week if I can. Obviously, this is depending on how busy it is.

I'd also like to try doodling more on other blogs? But I'm not sure if this is even something people want to see anymore. People might prefer I focus on writing if I have free time instead of doodles or little comics.

... the writing blog. I need to do stuff with that in general. Whoops.

Finally, I want to do what I can to the best of my abilities on a particular day. I've always told people over the years that real life comes before rp, and I still stand by that. Whether I'm around or not every day isn't the end of the world. The communities I write in are a lot slower paced than they were when I started, which is great! I need to remind myself that I don't need to be writing just because I have a bit of free time.

"Unlike you I'm not dying with curiosity." If only she could have avoided him of all people. While this may be a different version of the man who singlehandedly destroyed her entire life alongside another bastard, she'd atleast thought she could have gotten away from this mess sooner than later. Being caught now only meant he must have picked up something linking her to another. The successor of this world's Wukong. He doesn't have the blood running through his veins but the similarities are all there. It makes her want to gag. Frankly, the boy has it far better than she ever did. Yet that doesn't mean those memories don't lurk at the edges of her mind. If this one was anything like hers had been, it would be easy to atleast lay him flat on his back and run with that moment of distraction.

Even still she won't be caught with her hair down as some would say. Gripping the edges of the bucket filled to the brim with apples a bit more tightly. How easily he moved out of the shadows before her made her fur crawl, carefully crafted glamors made her always appear human. She needed to be in a world that was unlike hers. Staying anonymous was her best bet here. She was given a second chance and she'll take it. Though many of her questions will always remain unanswered. Why did she alone survive when her world died? Why did she end up here? Has those events already taken place or is she just unlucky in being thrust into a world of a past time?

Sorry for not posting anything as of late. I've been thinking of what I could post on here that I haven't already, but recently I've been thinking about my past on this site, most notably prior to making my account.

When I first found Tumblr, I mainly just scoured whatever blogs I thought were neat and asking whenever I could as an anonymous greyface. I did try to make a Tumblr blog once before (specifically an ask blog for Lego Dimensions' Lord Vortech), but it never went anywhere, and I mainly just stayed as a regular old anon.

However, when I saw instances of people role-playing and holding conversations while asking anonymously, I got interested in doing the same, and so I started to do so with any blog I thought I could spice up.

Most of the times I remember doing it, I would try to instigate interactions between fandoms to an annoying degree. I even remember the time I pretended to be a Peridot blog via an anonymous ask to provoke an interaction with an Eggman blog. (BTW, it didn't go anywhere.)

However, the way I did this that most sticks out in my mind is when I tried to use this character I created named Eriphram. In my head, he was a shadowy humanoid with bright red eyes wearing a maroon, face-obscuring cloak, with a lime-green runic symbol resembling an ahnk on his chest. He was supposed to be my interpretation of the ultimate evil conquerer despite his otherwise generic warlock appearance.

I also made a good brother counterpart for him named Arnon so I could do "big good" moments, giving him a navy blue cloak and a yellow-and-white body made of light with blue eyes and no runic symbol. I don't remember using him as actively, but I annoyed people using him alongside Eriphram.

The blog I most remember annoying with these guys was @thehouseofivo, a multimuse blog that focuses primarily on an alternate version of Ivo Robotnik as based on the Archie comics who, after nearly destroying the world, has tried to rebuild it himself to make amends.

Being as I wasn't really educated on the lore of the blog at the time, I used Eriphram to try and stoke his evil tendencies for reasons I don't even remember. I also used Arnon a bit when I realized that he wouldn't budge, but that ended up annoying him too. I remember this one time Ivo was injured and bedridden because of something, and being the young egotist that I was, decided to have Arnon show up to offer him a deus-ex-machina to get him back to full health. He didn't take it, and I think I egged him on about it through Arnon, being nothing but cringe that day.

But what I also remember doing with this blog in particular was when I tried to insert MYSELF into the narrative for a time, whether it was as an employee at Ivo's company, or as self-inserts in mini-AUs that I sometimes feel responsible for bringing into the world, like his BioShock one.

It's been many years since I stopped pulling this kinda stuff, but I still think about it from time to time due to how cringe-inducing it was. I've also thought about using Eriphram and Arnon in more constructive, maybe self-aware ways since then, though I am somewhat reluctant to do so because of my history of using them. I'm sorry to those I've bothered with my antics. I know it may be years late, but I hope you can forgive me.

If it comes to writing canon characters I will pick one that I know enough about to think I can do them justice. For a muse you create yourself it means they develop as you go.

Not at the moment. I have more than enough muses already and there are no ideas for new ones left. Plus, the latest I created I still need to get active.

I'm a sucker for a really strong bond like soulmates. An unknown force that pulls muses together. And there are always more than one kind of soulmate.

I stay in the here and now to be honest. Even though some of my muses are supernatural.

That he will find the happiness he deserves and that he is able to see that he deserves it. That he comes to term with his past and that he learns to accept all sides of himself.

I just hope people can see Niragi through my writing.

ren is yusuke's theo! he sees him as a supportive older brother figure of sorts who he trusts he can turn to with both artistic and personal matters, though those are entwined more often than not. there's a reason he entrusted him with the "sayuri" and then spent half of the summer hanging out in leblanc, and it wasn't just the air conditioning!

other thoughts: i don't know how the joker multiverse works because i just got here, and akira doesn't even know it exists, so i can't really say how things might go, but i'm up for it!

Akechi

other thoughts: ren is akechi's first and only friend but he has no idea how to have actual personal relationships with other people. he can't even identify his own feelings, really, especially with everything being complicated by their circumstances. and then in the third semester, akechi would actively avoid him to try to save him from wasting his time hanging out with someone who's just going to die at the end of the month anyway.

i'd want to talk about it with you because there's a Lot going on here and a lot of it would come down to how ren feels and where in the timeline we are.

Stocking can be challenging since she is quite vulgar and reckless but she’s still fun! Frisk because they do not speak so it’s a lot of describing and figuring out ways for them to interact with others while also continuing the thread. Ladybug and Sora I’ve written before years ago a LOT, but I am NOT that good at writing action scenes even though I enjoy having moments like angst or bonding happen in them. And Sonic, this will be the first time I’ll be writing him on this blog although I haven’t done so quite yet except for like two asks sent. As much as I love him, I rarely write male muses (like Sora was my first male muse) so it’s gonna be a little different for me; and he has so many abilities along with his attitude. But I wanna go for that challenge and dig more deep into his character cause I love him too much. T_T

I think at the time I wanted to give it a try and see how it goes considering I had a lot of different muses I want to see would click with me. I was all into have Independent blogs but making one for each muse took a lot of time. So having a multimuse was kinda like a test especially when I’ve seen more of them appear. I’ve wanted to and added muses I want to write again and some just didn’t work out or stay and removed them, which was a lot easier than just abandoning or revamping the blog altogether. The second time I changed it all up I got the gist of it and this is the third time since tumblr has been an ass and I had to move blogs.

Every person has the power to change their fate if they are brave enough to fight for what they desire more than anything. Princess Hope Andrea Mikealson was one who attempted to walk in the orbit of grace. Her heart was still a little heavy, but she'd decided carrying it around would only maker her stronger. They often likened her to rose. Ever beautiful and moral but capable of using her thorns. Sometimes, one could not be kind and honorable and she gave herself the necessary grounds to deal with that. People often forgot that women with angelic faces still had rapier wit and tongues that could bite as venomously as a snake should they choose it. If Captain Julian had imagined a pretty little twenty one year old princess to cower like a flower being trampled under foot, he would be as good looking as he was mistaken. He looked at the girl barely above five feet tall with a hundred stories lit behind his eyes without the usually judgement men excerised on a woman with opinions. It was merely because she valued other traits above an affinity for torture and power over those weaker than oneself. the auburn haired girl valued brilliant minds, honest souls, and those with long endurance. She forged relationships based on trust and mutual respect, not fear and control. Even a man who’s spent his whole life at sea has reason to fear her when she’s angry. Like light cast over the morning water, it became new. Every moment that lay ahead, like an uncharted sea. this was a new beginning. Nothing was what it seemed. Every truth was twisted. Every lie carefully constructed. We both knew that surviving means sometimes doing things that haunt you. Honestly, handsome or stupid could be just as interchangeable though the royal found herself surprisingly in turmoil while tied along with her dignity and crimson red dress against the mast of the grand ship. Even as courage warmed her veins, the Mikealson heir found the delicate skin of her cheeks blossoming with a blush at the strong searing gaze of any man so calculating on her. Few would trust her father’s patience thusly. Dreams that come true can be beautiful, but they can also turn into nightmares when people won't wake up. Every good story needs a villain. But the best villains are the ones you secretly like. There are different kinds of fathers. Those who love unconditionally, those who love on condition, and those who never love at all. King Klaus would burn the world down just to dig his daughter from the ashes wether he be king or peasant. Falling for this would be like falling in love with darkness, but now she imagined he was more like a starry night: the constellations were always there, constant, magnificent guides against the ever-present black. Gold shimmered no matter what, but few people could make darkness glitter the way he did. No one is truly honest. Even if we don't lie to others, we often lie to ourselves. And the word good means different things to different people. Fear was a poison that people mistook as protection. Making choices to stay safe could be just as treacherous. She loved the feeling of doing something bold enough to make her future hold its breath while she closed her eyes and reveled in the sensation that she’d made a choice with the power to alter the course of her life. He looked like a freshly woken storm, or a beautiful nightmare come to life so he could personally haunt her. “What kind of captain is so afraid of a princess half his size that he has to die her and her tulle ball gown to a mast? Honestly, your swash buckling repuation deserves far better than that. You may look like a knife glinting in the moon light or an poison packaged in an attractive bottle,but kind hearted doesn’t mean that death or fear find me a willing companion. Now, if you want to speak like a leader. I will be waiting.”

2. do any of your muses have dietary allergies?

If Dracula drinks dead or tainted blood he'll be very ill 🙃 and Venom is dependent on the chemical phenethylamine, which can be found in brains. And chocolate.

4. how do your decide on an FC for a new muse?

I usually have a little mental back catalog of FCs in my mind at all times lol. I've reused some for various OCs in the past. Usually I'll know exactly who would fit the muse I'm creating, sometimes a specific FC sets me off with an idea. If I wasn't sure, I used to go searching through Hollowart for the features I needed.

7. do any of your muses have issues remembering things?

Camniel can be a bit of a scatterbrain at times. Abel has some issues with memory after his time at BSHCI, but mostly in regards to himself and his identity. Sherlock suffered from post concussion syndrome for a time which affected his memory.

11. which of your muses do you tend to have muse for the most?

It honestly depends! I can't predict it. It's usually determined by what I myself am hyperfixating on, how recently I've seen a movie/TV show featuring my muses and the enthusiasm of my writing partners. If they're coming to me with lots of great ideas we can build on, I'll be a lot more hyped to write those muses. At the moment my muse is definitely highest for Abel and Hannibal.

14. which of your muses second guesses themselves the most? why?

Alice. Because besides Saros, she’s the youngest and it took her a while to really gain confidence in herself and her ability to do whatever she puts her mind to.

15. do any of your muses have trouble falling asleep / staying asleep?

Hannibal still has nightmares about losing his little sister Mischa, though they’re less frequent now. Meanwhile Abel has nightmares about everything Hannibal did to him in the verse where he survives. They’re still pretty regular at this point. Sherlock has a persistently racing mind in general, so he doesn’t get as much sleep as the average person. He just can’t switch off. Peter still has nightmares about Ego and about his Mom’s death. Loki has nightmares about his time with Thanos and the torture he went through. And Elise can have quite troubling psychic dreams, which usually keep her up for a few hours after she writes down what she sees.

23. which of your muses is most likely to believe in ghosts? which is the least?

Elise is the most likely. Because she knows they’re real and has been seeing and hearing them since she was a young girl lmao. And the least is Sherlock, for certain.

25. which of your muses has / would have the silliest ringtone? what would it be?

Aziraphale because he owns an antique telephone instead of a mobile phone like everybody else.

27. which of your muses has the best / most attuned gut instinct? do they listen to it?

Quite a few of them do really! Drew and Peter especially, they’ve both grown up in dangerous and pretty wild environments so they’ve learned to be resourceful and adaptable, ready for anything that gets thrown at them at any given moment. That’s not to say they can’t still be dumbasses though, because they are. very much so.

A Dog’s Greeting to Lions

starter for @another-bloody-multimuse

It was an unplanned errand, but not unwelcome. In fact it fortunate that she spotted them. While scoping out the lab which she would be stealing from later that night she noted two figures walk by, heading to a cafe. Lysandre’s siblings, her mind clicked together as it rapidly ran through all of the data she had collected on them when gathering it for their brother along with all he’d told her about them. They were important to him, the sister being one of the only ones he’d mentioned some of his plans to before it all went down. He had talked about how much his family meant to him, how he wanted to call them, but hadn’t brought himself to do it yet leaving them to think he was dead. She should respect his wishes of keeping it secret. In fact that benefited her as well wanting to keep her bar and everything about it a secret. However she did have her disguise packed due to her intention to break into a professor’s lab later, and while he was making progress with his mental health some thing still worried her. Perhaps they knew something that could help.

She’d sat on the table outside, back turned, using the reflection of her pokegear to see where they sat confirming they’d stay long enough for her to get set up. The process didn’t take long after she left. A quick jump to her hotel to change while she explained the plan to her pokemon who went to the cafe while she waited in an alley. Sitting criss cross on a closed garbage lid she picked at the dark purple knee socks or her black combat boots while waiting. The Trench coat matching in a color laid on either side of her legs, the lilac hood of it drawn up to hide the tight bun her hair was in. The hood kept in place thanks to the canine like mask that’s pointed ears stuck out through holes cut in the hood. It’s crisp lilac lines, and yellow detailing the most ornate thing about her disguise. The rest was simply a white tank top, and lilac shorts. When it came to identifying Karen the only visible clue was the gold chain belt, and what appeared to be coins clipped to the lops of her shorts. Though she had ways around explaining that. While she waited her pokemon were handling the meeting. At the end of the alley her houndoom, Garnet, was scaring people away from the entrance, hiding again to not let the siblings see her when they came. Meanwhile her dreepy was on his first thieving mission while the resident thief of the team a, murkrow named Trouble, was watching from outside. The little ghost dragon stayed invisible as he floated over to the table with the two siblings. Since the boy was closer he decided to steal from them. Watch? No they kept moving their hand. Food? No Trouble said only certain food was valuable and he didn’t understand what that meant yet. Earring? No he wasn’t sure how to get that off.

Then the dreepy saw it. Hanging just outside the pocket was a wallet, and Trouble had told Scooby that those and phone like devices were the best things to steal. Delicate little hands reached out snatching the wallet up before zipping out of reach. Opening it up to display the man’s ID inside the invisible pokemon did a little dance in the air adding a few ghostly ‘ooooh!’ sounds staying invisible to make sure the human saw exactly what he had. As per instruction the moment Scooby saw the human get up, he zipped off to the exit expecting them to follow.

A month later and at last I come bearing an update once again. It’s bound to be incredibly lengthy as life has not been its most placid, but I am here nonetheless.

TL;DR for those also struggling with their time recently: Life stressful, Bun scare, WoW fun but friend/Mythic+ group is a mess due to losing a friend to toxicity, I will likely be remaking this multimuse blog and starting fresh there to give me more incentive to be around to write comfortably in a fresh, happy, non-cluttered place, complete with a new Birkan OC I talked about some months before now. Though I haven’t technically decided and was going to ask opinions, I will likely still be remaking, as everything here is a mess. Lulu’s blog will remain as is for now, as I am attached to it and has retained more activity from me ( not much more, however ), though I have also considered moving her with everyone as well to keep everyone in one place and maybe make my mind feel more focused in a collective space. I’m still very much on the fence about it. Thoughts on that are welcome.

There was a bit of optimism at the beginning of my break to play WoW. However, a little less than a day into the launch, I noticed something off about the youngest of my rabbits. Hazel, a netherland dwarf gifted to me by a neighbor down the way during Christmas a couple years ago so she had friends and wasn’t alone during the day, developed a head tilt. It was enough to be noticeable, but nowhere near the cases most see posted in pictures. Head tilt in rabbits is often a very serious thing, as it can cause permanent damage and even death if not treated immediately. Anything from an injury to unkempt ears to a common parasite ( which is technically classified as a fungus ) to neurological troubles - the range is about as vast as self-diagnosing with WebMD. Torticollis in rabbits has a bunch of different causes, very few of which are relatively mild.

I was - to say the least - in absolute hysterics. She was off balance, tripping over herself, curling up into herself trying to keep footing. To somebody that’s never seen it in person before, it looks like you’re watching an animal on the verge of passing from something neurological. I had no idea what was going on. To be frank, I was absolutely terrified. It was 1AM and very few vets were 24-hour, especially in this crisis, much less ones that could look at rabbits. I steeled myself to call the closest one for recommendations on what to do and where to go. Naturally, I was told there was nothing this place could do besides euthanasia ─ which, in my very emotional state, I was incredibly offended by the mere immediate suggestion of. Hazel had been acting completely normal up until then, and she still had her energy. She was trying to climb all over the place despite having no balance, and she showed no other symptoms of anything besides just tilting and falling over herself. At this point obviously I know they were simply stating that was the only thing they could do as they don’t take exotic pets, but in the moment, being offered it as the first and seemingly only solution made me upset. I’m sure that would be anybody in that situation. So, of course, I refused, and they told me of other places that would be able to at least see her at that time and give me more sound options.

I find a 24 hour emergency pet clinic about thirty minutes away. There’s a place that for sure takes exotics, but it’s 2 hours away and closed at this hour. Okay, fine, I don’t have time to wait with this. I call the 24 hour clinic. They tell me they do see exotics and can treat the basics but they don’t have the equipment to properly diagnose anything for certain. Unfortunate, but I don’t have any other options at this point. They say they will take her and monitor her behavior to figure out where I should go from there. I take her there. I try not to break down again on the ride there, I try not to break down as they take her padded comfy box from me. They tell me they have another, more serious case they have to see to immediately but will monitor her and do a basic check-up. It will take them an hour at minimum, and I was welcome to stay in the parking lot. I decide against it, go home to clean up and prep a space for her while trying to steel myself more. It takes a couple hours for them to call back.

Lo and behold, they have no idea what’s wrong. As stated when I called, aside from the head tilting, she is acting completely normal. Eating, going to the bathroom, has her energy, no leg or eye issues that are common with the usual problems that lead to head tilting. What tests they can run are absolutely normal. They gave her what they referred to as “a bunny feast”, and she delighted herself in it with no problems, and they even brushed her down for me ( I didn’t get the chance yet, her winter coat was just coming in ). She just has a head tilt all of a sudden, out of nowhere. This is great news, but it’s also upsetting, because I still have no idea what’s going on. They give me medication for an infection and Metacam for the potential pain she could have been in, and sent me on my way to monitor her at home. If anything changed for the worse, I would take her to the vet in Raleigh two hours away to have actual tests done.

Okay, so I’m still in the dark on what’s wrong, but I have medication. Great. I watch her for two weeks, give her the infection medication every 12 hours and the pain medication the first 4 days. And, in time, her head tilt begins to disappear. That tells both the doctor and I that it was either 1) an ear infection, which was now cured, or 2) an injury. My mind has me leaning towards the latter, if only because I know how fast she runs all over the place and Jolyne, my cat, does play with her. They have done so for years now without issue, often times Jojo will be running away from Hazel rather than vice versa. Hazel will do loops back and forth and then suddenly charge at her in an attempt to catch her off guard. I have not let her out with Jojo since then in case roughhousing was in fact the cause, but Hazel is back to running around like the crazy thing she is. I’m still watching her every day, and all the rabbits will hopefully be getting new, large hutches for Christmas. Hazel’s has been ordered. To this moment, I still have no idea what caused her head tilt. What I did learn, however, is that there are a lot of rabbits that get euthanized due to head tilt, when most of the ailments - if caught early enough and with lengthy TLC - can be cured. Rabbits can even live happily with the tilt should it become permanent ( which it can be! ). Here is a happy bun who lived a wonderful life with a permanent head tilt. Much worse than the way Hazel’s was, but the common bad tilt nonetheless. I called to tell them the great news, how grateful I was they could do anything at all, and they were ecstatic to have me call them back. Things in that regard are now back to normal, but I keep an eye on her as per usual. Definitely not the kind of scare I was expecting out of nowhere, but one I received nonetheless.

During the time I monitored her and kept her close at my side in her hutch ( I went out of the way to move her hutch in with me when I cleaned it, because why wouldn’t I? ), I enjoyed the launch of Shadowlands. My main WoW friend group, A/B/C/D/E, were all playing and content with what was happening. We even were talking to old friends, thinking about raiding, had two new friends coming to learn to play the game. It was great! But then base Mythics came out, and things went sour out of nowhere.

One of our long time friends in our original Mythic+ group became the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. We’ve all had our disagreements and issues with said friend for some time, as he has been very negative the past few months and a hamper on the friend group even before launch. Everyone knows things are at an all time low, and the world is not in its best state - but we come to play games to get away from the realities of things. We’re here to have fun and kid around, not to mope. This is not to say we’re not here to be supportive if something is genuinely wrong, or that sadness just isn’t allowed ever. That would be silly. We’re always here to support each other in rough times, and such is the reason we’re as tight-knit as we are to begin with. Always has been the case.

However, this was not your typical sad sort of negative. This was the permanent “Glass is Half Empty” mentality. Everything had to be negative. Win a BG match? He didn’t have fun because he got targeted down one time when he was alone on a caster. Clear base Mythics for the first time of the expansion? No time to celebrate, because he didn’t get a piece of gear out of it, or he didn’t do the burst he wanted on a trash pack because we didn’t cater to his pull plan. During the second week of Mythics, he was constantly complaining about not getting gear drops to the point it was making other members upset. No one likes doing eight dungeons, getting one or two drops, and both being pieces you don’t need. Hell, I did Mythic+ this entire week since it came out and I still have a Heroic neck on my body because it has a socket and great stats and I’ve not gotten another drop since. But to complain about not getting a drop and dunking on people who are getting the upgrade ─ which, in turn, betters the group ─ is just ridiculous. This was not exclusive to just WoW, either. Everything they played together when I was not present, he acted the same way ─ negative, upsetting, and very, very defensive whenever someone would tell him to knock it off. He’d pull the “oh you don’t care about me” card. He constantly felt like people were coming after him, even when nobody ever was, and that everyone just had something against him and we kept him there out of sheer pity ─ which was infuriating to all of us, the people who still considered him a friend and cared about him to tolerate the toxic behavior and try to work through it. He’d pretend to be a victim if you tried to call him out on bad behavior, acting as if he was being singled out, while also bad mouthing other people and poking fun at them and then disguising it as a joke ( or in his case, “a meme” ). When you’d do the same back, he’d pull the whole “dude that’s not cool, I get you’re joking but it’s not funny” attitude every time. He had to be right all the time, and if you tried to tell him he was wrong, he’d fight you on it until the bloody end, even when proven wrong earlier. He wanted to be catered to and, if things weren’t going the way he wanted, he was negative. If he wasn’t having fun, nobody else was allowed to have fun.

Friend A, who is essentially our leader that brought everybody together and often makes calls for the group ( though in reality we’re all just an aimless bunch of friends messing around and having fun ), has known Friend C for a longer than any of us. He considers him his best friend, and they have been close for many years since Cataclysm. We’re all friends, of course, but A and C have been close for a very long time. They are very supportive of one another, regardless of what happens, and always have been. However, even Friend A is getting very frustrated with Friend C’s behavior. Friend C has not always been like this. In fact, he used to be the complete opposite. He loves the guy to death and back, but the other members, particularly Friend D, is getting into mini verbal fisticuffs during dungeons disguised as friendly fun being poked and forth almost every night. Friend D complains about Friend C behind his back ( which he has been asked to tone down and, some nights, has been agreed with based on the issue at hand ). A new coworker of Friend A who is also a very chill, cool person had her own reservations about him when she joined due to his behavior and it kept her from joining voice calls. Hell, I got into an argument with him a week before launch due to his behavior, to which he tried to invalidate my argument by claiming I was “coming after him” and therefore my side was automatically invalid because I had a “personal vendetta” against him and me “shit-talking” him while making my points “comes off a certain way” ─ when the point I was making had absolutely nothing to do with him personally. Again, the same “I’m being attacked” mentality, when no such thing was happening.

Eventually one night while he was complaining about loot, Friend A had a talk with him about not complaining about not getting loot anymore, as it was wearing on everyone’s nerves. Mythic+ would come out soon, loot would be flowing in, and everyone would eventually be geared, including him. This wasn’t the first time he was talked to in regards to the way he’d been acting in general. He agreed to tone it down, and that was that. But guess what? That didn’t happen. The next night we finish up our Mythics, and he has to physically stop himself from making a comment and covers it up with “nope, I promised I wouldn’t complain about loot” with a tone that sounds like someone is struggling really, really hard not to say something and is holding back. Normally this would be something nobody cares about and is part of the process but this isn’t the first time he said something about it. He then proceeds to complain anyway, spends night questioning the tank’s ( Friend D at the time ) pulls and complaining about being beat in DPS every other pull because “oh I don’t have gear cause the game hates me so-” when he’s not even doing his AoE rotation properly ( found this out later after everything fell through ). His attitude is so negative it’s affecting the way he plays and, to put it bluntly, he’s playing and acting like shit.

So Friend A sits him down. Again. At this point he’s still trying his absolute best to work things out with him, but his foot has come down. His behavior for months has been toxic. People are getting fed up. He’s bringing down group morale. Everyone is worried his attitude is going to make the new people who are trying to learn the game quit because he’s constantly shit talking the game and pretending the world is ending in voice. Friend A tells him he’s here for him still and how he’s always here to talk if life is a mess and Friend C is still welcome, but he needs to get his shit straight. By the end of the chat, Friend C claims “that’s just how he is” and he can’t do anything about it ─ which is just such bullshit. We know good and well how he really is, and this ain’t it. He’s just too lazy, full of himself, and down on his luck to acknowledge he has a problem. He says it’s shitty of us not to “accept him for who he is” and how we all know his life is shit and that he’s justified. Friend A essentially tells him he doesn’t want somebody like that in his group. Friend C takes this as “oh I don’t want you here period”, essentially says “well I don’t want to be in a group that just pities me and takes me along because they feel bad and not because they’re actually my friends”, leaves the discord group, removes Friend A from discord, removes friend A from Battle.net, then blocks him in both places. Out of nowhere. Friend A then comes to announce that Friend C will no longer be a part of our group. This is a TL;DR, since I wasn’t there for the conversation and it’s been a little bit since I’ve asked Friend A exactly what was said and feel it inappropriate to ask for specifics again since it’s all behind us now and that night still upsets him to this moment.

Since then, Friend C has come back to try and make amends to everyone, especially the group, as he dropped without telling anybody out of frustration and essentially said “fuck you” to the entire group because he was upset at his best friend. Friend A was very emotional about it after it happened as, like said, this was his best friend who essentially just claimed he didn’t care about him at all and just pitied him despite doing everything he could to try to keep everybody happy and even catering to Friend C at times against his better judgement. Despite that, however, Friend A has stated multiple times he would not even take Friend C back as a friend unless he had a life evaluation first. Friend A and Friend C sat down to have another talk after the dust settled so Friend C could apologize, as Friend C reached out supposedly to do so, but he still acted as though he didn’t do anything wrong. He swore constantly on his dog-who-he-loved-dearly’s ashes he didn’t say the shitty things he said to Friend A that night. He didn’t own up to anything he said or did, only apologized for leaving immediately and dipping on everyone else, as he worried he’d “burned the bridge”. Friend A did not welcome him back with open arms but told him his doors were still open to talk and were never closed to begin with ( Friend C closed them himself by leaving suddenly, after all ) and that he could talk to him again when he figured everything out. Everyone is at least on speaking terms again, but he has not rejoined the discord nor the game group, and wasn’t even playing for a time. Now he’s supposedly playing and having fun again on his own terms and doing things we haven’t. Supposedly. So our Mythic+ group had a gap in it, which was filled by one of the new friends who just started playing. Both new players in our group are learning fast, but it has slowed our progression down, which we accept. People have swapped around classes to find accommodations as well, with Friend A now tanking and Friend D healing as they did before, delaying progress further. But now with things decided and in place, we will begin to push again. After all, it’s only the first week of Mythic+. We haven’t really lost any important progress.

Friend A was very upset and felt like there was more he could’ve done, but everyone in the group has told him day in and day out there was nothing else he could’ve done. Friend C still has a lot to sort out and has seemingly taken absolutely nothing from this situation.

Both of these situations, on top of the seizures the person I consider a second mom to me still happening ( which she went in for today to be looked at again while she’s being treated for something else ), has made writing nigh impossible. I have been having a lot of fun playing WoW and the issue with Friend C, while a big hamper on things in the moment, hasn’t stopped me from enjoying it as is. Both the major hospitals near me have recently announced they are at full capacity on virus patients and will no longer be accepting more of them and, so long as there’s no immediate reason to do so, have asked people to stay inside as much as possible because of it. With Hazel’s emergency making me miss my dad’s small Thanksgiving as I was up all night that night and it was the next day, this means I will also not make it to his Christmas. I did not go to my mom’s get-together for Christmas either, as it was at her restaurant where she works and the number of people there made me nervous. She was sad, but there’s nothing I could really do to justify the risk. The fact people still want to have any kind of gathering even for the holidays blows my mind.

That all being said, things have calmed down enough for me to consider making another attempt at writing again and retuning to the blogs I have missed dearly. The breaks are always nice, but I’ve had to take far too many of late, and struggling with the energy and mindset to write for months is really starting to get under this bun’s blue fur. In the time I’ve been away I’ve thought about remaking this blog, as it’s a complete mess and riddled with old things that are no longer a part of it. My tags are messed up, my info is all over the place, and I feel as though a fresh place filled with friends who are still active might speed up the process of getting me back on track. In addition to that, I’ve thought more about the OC idea I brought up some time ago and will be adding said OC to the roster once things are set-up, assuming I go through with the idea. I’ve also considered adding Lulubelle to the multimuse as well to keep everyone in one place, but as I’m attached to her blog and hers is more organized, I’m reluctant to do so. It is a thought and consideration, nonetheless. It will all take some time to do, but afterward, assuming it goes as expected, activity will resume once again.

It will take some time, but hopefully things will be back to the way they were soon enough. ♥

Spyro

their general personality

Having lived the early years of his life believing he's a dragonfly, Spyro is a little naïve about how the world works, but that does little to stem his eagerness to learn and grow. Adventurous, courageous, and curious, even from a young age, it only bolstered as his past came into question, his recklessness only slightly kept in check by his more cautious brother Sparx. Even so, he's still more mature and serious than his partner dragonfly. What he lacks in cockiness and arrogance, he more than makes up for in sarcasm and a willingness to correct his past mistakes.

Spyro carries a great deal of compassion for others, that one individual always willing to help them no matter what happens. Rewards aren't needed, he's just happy to be a help to those in danger. He's generally optimistic, preferring to see the brighter side of anything he does than focusing too much on the dark situation he's found himself in. Slowly growing into his assigned role, he's always pressing to forge his own destiny as a Purple Dragon. He's still a young dragon though, and while smart and tenacious, he can be quite childish at times - not all the time but he has his moments.

their hobbies

Training to become a part of his clan's warrior caste, practicing his element powers (his favourite being fire), swimming, exploring the woodlands, tasting flowers, helping others.

things they like

His friends and family, fire, learning (particularly different cultures and history), dancing, flying, getting adrenaline rushes, seeing others smile, engaging in firefly traditions / customs.

things they dislike

Malefor, people close to him being threatened, being trapped, shrill noises, letting others down, failing to live up to expectations, when others constantly brings up Cynder's dark past after she was released from Malefor's control, blue peppers.

some things people do that annoy them

Misunderstandings, haughtiness, when someone is deliberately vague, Sparx's constant jokes and sarcasm, when Sparx stays up very late (because when Sparx is up, everyone has no choice in catching a wink of sleep).

how easily they form friendships

Spyro is a very caring dragon, it takes a lot for him to make enemies. He's social, willing to put himself out there, not afraid to start a conversation, and a predisposition to giving those he's meets a fair chance, so it’s easy for him to form friendships.

how easily they get crushes

Not that easily, to be honest. He's too focused on helping others and dealing with a war effort to pay attention to any developing crush he might have for someone. With that in mind, he may not notice when someone is flirting with him and can be pretty dense about romance… at first, at least.

the kind of person they get along with the best

People who can ground him, remind him to care about himself. He spends an exhausting amount of time putting others first. All things considered, he can get along with most people in general, but he does have a preference for patient people who have known him for a while.

the kind of person they get along with the worst

Is it a cop out to say villains / bad guys ? He just generally despises people who do things on purpose to hurt or demean others, and those who are cruel of their own free will.

Yep! We’ve already discussed a lot of this, but like Spyro’s just a friendly dude, he’d be up for talking to any muses you toss at him.

Cynder

their general personality

Cynder is a bit of a wild card. Overall she's very calm and collected, witty, resourceful, bold and cunning, but also very naive in certain aspects. Due to the way she was 'raised' during her brief stint as a newborn, very controlling and with a lot of expectations thrown on her shoulders, she never really experienced childhood like most of her peers. As she was stolen by Malefor's dark forces and born under his corrupting influence, Cynder was initially a weaponized monster, fitted with an unstable, biting personality, and a matching explosive temper. Nothing matter beyond the return of her master. Everything else was a means to that end in her eyes. After being freed, Cynder had never really had her own thoughts or had to fully think on her own before, having nothing to call 'herself' outside of Malefor. And once the weight of everything she'd done fully settled in, the trauma and guilt she felt nearly crippled her.

Due to her own personality still developing, she can often quickly shift moods. One moment she can be both serious and humble, or lighthearted and chaotic. It depends who is with her at the moment, and she’ll react accordingly. She's become very opinionated, not afraid to speak her mind about something though usually coming off extremely blunt and sarcastic when doing so. At times her irritable temperament shines through, subjecting those around her to snappy remarks. Still, Cynder has an intense sense of loyalty, and shows determination to help others and prove that she isn't the monster she once was. She wants to do all she can to keep those she cares about safe.

their hobbies

Currently she doesn’t have many hobbies, since her time was mostly devoted to war and is now spent focusing on stopping Malefor. However, this is something she's been working on ever since she first stayed at the Dragon Temple with encouragement and support from Ignitus and Spyro to try new things.

things they like

Freedom, independence, her personal space, time to herself, fish, the sky, feeling the wind on her scales, the idea of finding her own destiny.

things they dislike

Malefor, reminders of her past, being chained in any form (physical or psychologically), accusations of her still being evil and returning to Malefor's side, people trying to shove her back into the old path of expectations and servitude she'd been on for her entire life, the green snake collars keeping her tethered to Spyro, frail and weak heroines.

some things people do that annoy them

Passiveness, testing her patience, being extremely obnoxious / loud, being overly happy, Sparx's constant quips (sometimes she wants to whack him out of the air with her tail / wings so he can finally shut up… sometimes she follows through on the thought).

how easily they form friendships

Not at all. On a scale from 1 to 10, she's like a 3. She's reserved about reaching out to others, but if someone’s persistent, understanding and patient enough, doesn’t mind the occasional snippy comment, and they mush themselves next to her for a little bit (just to show you aren’t scared / intimidated by her / her past ), a friendship forming is possible!

how easily they get crushes

It's a similar case as above. It's not very easy as it’s also just not on her mind, but she does best with people who are heartfelt, genuine and understanding. She likely wouldn't realize any growing feelings, and so they seem to sneak up on her.

the kind of person they get along with the best

Other laid back people tbh ? Like you can be energetic but if you’re like chill with most things then like,, Neato. Cynder usually does best with someone who’s able to take her sarcasm and not think too much about it ? She also likes someone with a sense of competition, but not too much or they'll likely become a rival instead of a friend.

the kind of person they get along with the worst

Cynder can be rather distrusting due to her attitude growing up and the general sentiment directed towards her after she was freed from Malefor. Anyone who's a staunch believer in thinking she can't change will not get along with her. She also isn't fond at all of the overly eager, always happy, cliche protag type. Obnoxious people have a way of grating on her thin nerves and shortening her fuse in particular.

BEGIN.

Before we start, I would like you to have certain things in mind when approaching me ooc. I am very shy and quite awkward, which results in me not being much of a talker; however, I will always try my best to be friendly to whoever wants to approach. I dislike pet names so please do not use them with me unless we are very close. There will be times when I'm just exhausted, so my wording could sound rude/aggressive, to which I apologize in advance -I never mean to hurt people’s feelings. I also reserve the right to interact with WHOEVER I want, and pestering me about it will only get you blocked.

I. BASIC.

A. This blog is: Selective / Independent / Canon Divergent / NSFW / Mutuals only / Singleship / Mostly iconless / Multiverse / AU, Crossover, OC, and Multimuse friendly / Vaguely affiliated with the OP RP fandom.

B. I am a very slow rper for many reasons —school, family, my ever-fluctuating mood —and I would appreciate it if you refrained from pestering me for replies. In return I offer as much patience as necessary. Think of this blog as low activity please.

C. English is not my mother language so I apologize in advance for any mistakes made.

II. TRIGGERS.

A. They will be tagged as trigger tw, trigger / and trigger cw.

B. I do my best to stay up to date with my mutuals triggers. Your comfort is way more important to me than you might think, so never be hesitant to approach me via IM, (anonymous) ask or stop following me.

D. I have no triggers, so you are free to go wild with your content. I only ask you remember to tag your nsfw (both written and visual), please.

III. INTERACTIONS.

A. Deuce won't like everyone. He might/will make wrong assumptions about your character. He will insult and bite back. He won't always be nice to those he likes. He does many things that serve his interests. You, as the mun, have no reason to take it personal, because I'm won't follow someone I don't like; if you DO take it personal however, and decide to rouse drama, then I'll be hard-blocking you. Goes for me as well —I have no reason to get angry for any of the things noted above.

E. Non-romantic pre-established relationships are allowed! Just make sure to talk it out with me first, yeah?

01. Spade / Whitebeard pirates (canon and original characters alike that i am MUTUALS with) will have a pre-established relationship as long as the other mun is comfortable with such idea, though that relationship will be limited to merely crewmates, unless discussed otherwise.

F. You don’t need to match my writing length as long as I’m given enough to work with. If something about my reply bothers or doesn’t work with you, let me know and I’ll re-work it.

G. I really enjoy plotting scenarios or talking out about the relationships my muse could have with other muses, so hit me up if you’ve got any ideas! I’ll try to do the same!

H. Mun does not equal muse, so don’t go assuming I’m a jerk simply because Deuce is an asshole from time to time. I’m set on the idea that I’ll give people the same treatment they give me —which is always nice and kind. Kudos to everyone for this ♡

I. I don’t use a threadtracker because I rely on my memory (terrible mistake, I know), but I try to draft people’s replies as soon as I see them. If by any reason it seems like I lost it, then please let me know / send me a link with it and I’ll be deeply grateful.

J. I don’t do nor reply to greetings starters for matters of my own comfort, so I ask of you to never expect a starter or a reply from them.

IV. SHIPPING.

A. Singleship, with the spot taken by daadzi, which means Deuce is no longer open for romantic relationships.

01. Under no circumstances, I will accept more romantic relationships once the spot is taken. That being said, I won’t discourage your muse from falling for / hitting on him, although I ask you to understand he will never respond with the same interest or will never react gently if he’s pushed too far.

02. If my shipping partner is comfortable enough, I'll interact with duplicates with the condition that the relationship is strictly platonic.

B. Constant interaction, mutual interest, and chemistry are a must for the sake of better communication (both ic and ooc, preferably).

C. Please do not approach me if you wish our characters to have either a: one night stand or friends with benefits type of relationships. It won’t work out due to the nature of Deuce’s personality, and for that I apologize.

E. My ship has its own tag so you're free to block it if you don't want to see it on your dashboard. In addition, I'll also tag those posts with only the ship name for this very purpose.

F. Please do not force ships on me.

V. CELEBRATIONS.

A. First off, I am absolutely terrible at keeping up with dates, and to be frank, I am not the biggest fan of celebrating, which is why I think it’s necessary to say I won’t be partaking in any holidays, not even Deuce’s birthday (not that he has one, to begin with). Obviously I will still reply to any gifts received, and will send out things in return —you know, common courtesy.

B. I won't be sending out birthday gifts every year, and I might write drabbles for people once in a blue moon; it doesn’t mean they will be done for the specific date though, so please be patient.

VI. REASONS TO NOT FOLLOW BACK / UNFOLLOW.

A. Too much drama / call-outs / vague posts / sexual content.

B. Content makes me uncomfortable.

C. You are a personal blog without a visible rp sideblog. Please make sure it's easy to find.

VII. ABOUT BEATRICE.

She is not a real person. Her concept as Deuce’s (toxic) pseudolover is my creation and was somewhat inspired from the real life Beatrice Portinari. Do have in mind that Deuce doesn’t talk about her so your muse can’t simply approach him and ask about her unless they can go through his memories / read his mind / any capability alike or he speaks about her, though it won't take a genius to figure out that she's a product of his imagination.

She serves as a lie to shield himself from the internalized homophobia he deals with up until meeting Ace.

NOTE: As stated previously, Mun =/= muse, but I too have been dealing with compulsory heterosexuality for far too long, so I'd like to apologize in advance for projecting a bit of that into my portrayal. I'll work so that this part makes sense with what we've been given from Ace's novel.

VIII. MISCELLANEOUS.

A. I will never force people to follow me, so if by any reason you have to unfollow/block me, please go ahead. Your comfort matters and have every right to do what you must to ensure your wellbeing. With that said, I will not tolerate and will immediately hard block if you try to police my content.

B. I do not follow back immediately, and it can take me from a few hours to several days to follow back. Do not take it personally if I choose not to.

C. If I follow it’s because I am interested in interacting. I only ask you to be patient because it might take me a while to gather the courage to send something to your inbox or talk to you.

D. I have. ZERO knowledge about medicine. Don’t expect me to go full force and try to be 100% accurate, because I won’t.

further thoughts/ideas:

they aren't super close right now, but yusuke does consider them friends after the events of the third semester, and they probably kept in contact through the phantom thieves group chat since iirc sumi moves away from tokyo to pursue gymnastics at the end

i think yusuke would want her to be a pose model for him, since she's so flexible! and she can cook for him! and they share the struggle of being youth prodigies in their fields and struggling with slumps due to trauma and having to rediscover themselves, though obviously in very different ways.

he also mentions wanting to sculpt cendrillon in the thieves den, which i know is just a cognition of him, but i found that super interesting because sculpture isn't his usual medium i think it could be fun!

💎 which muse is the biggest drama queen

it’s a tie between jamie & maddie. it’s more obvious with maddie due to her bubbly personality having a little huff & making dramatic hand movements; i think it’s more for show since she’s actually calmer the more someone knows her. however jamie can get on dramatic tangents & get pouty. like, sprawled on the couch with holly on top of him as he complains about some minor topic, like a guy didn’t clean the equipment after using it again, as though it’s a crisis.

🎭 which muse is the easiest to write

liz but that’s only because i’ve been writing a variation of her for almost a decade. while i may have moments where i focus on one muse over the other, i am the most consistent with writing replies or things for liz. if i did have all four at once to write without previous connections, then i think maddie would be the easiest in terms of replies. though, i could see jamie becoming easier too as i get a better grasp on him. so ig what im saying here is that raleigh is the hardest while the others just depends on the day.

🌛 which muse is the biggest dreamer

in terms of having the most dreams when asleep, then it’s jamie. they’re mainly nightmares though, and they’re worse in verses where he serves in the military. his dreams are connected to his state of mind. so if he’s happier, then they’re vibrant but mundane. his most weirdest one was the one with holly was a horse & everything was still inside his apartment & not bothered by the size.

but as in dreaming about the future, then it’s surprisingly raleigh. he’s always been the most set on ‘when i grew up im gonna be this & live here’ sorta kid. even if his earlier may change (he wanted be an astronaut when he was five/six lol), he could always tell someone how he expect his life to be without a shrug. and, now that’s he’s grown up & got a career & dogs, he still has a focus on the future. at first, it starts with the little things, like trying to cook without burning something or get that piece of cosplay sown. but it goes bigger too where he wants a bigger house & wants a family & sees himself having his own kids running with the dogs in his backyard. he dreams about that a lot, whenever sipping on his tea to finally rest for the night.

🐢 which muse always runs late

answered here !! however, the least late is liz, though jamie is pretty punctual too. like, if either of them are late to something, it’s an emergency & should worry.

🌉 which muse is most consumed by wanderlust

as a kid, raleigh. i mean, he was into space & would just, read about how far planets are & was curious about space travel. but he liked travel books, too, & saying which places he would visit. but even closer to him, he wondered around ellesmere being in awe with the tiny creatures or how the hay looked when bailed. like his gravitation to hiking come from these younger years. sometimes the little things can distract him, but he’s not the same ‘woah’ type like he was in his younger years; i think being bullied about it took that away from him.

as an adult, or today, then it’s maddie. especially with the recent move to a bigger city, or even in being within city & the lights, she absolutely loves to explore around the different places. it’s a very more internal wanderlust, since she won’t travel too much on her own (codependency). but if some of her friends were like, ‘lets go to paris’ tomorrow, she’ll join & tour all around for the days they’re there & take plenty of pictures to show liz & jamie.

🏠 which muse is a happy homebody

raleigh. while liz is a close second, raleigh could definitely just stay in his place all day everyday. he’s the least social of the four because of it, preferring to just, chill inside his house besides the times he takes his dog to the park. and that would even be worse once he gets a place with a reasonable yard instead of stuck in an apartment. he has to force himself to go to big events like cosplays or not regret most invites to a night out. a lot of it has to do with his work making him more tired, but it’s also (the d********n) his social nervousness.
