Since They Might Be Giants have just announced that They will be returning to JoCo Cruise next year, allow me to relate a funny and unexpected thing happened to me on the boat in 2019.
I was walking across the lido deck on my way to the ship's pool area when I spot somebody in all white at the other end of the corridor. I can't tell who it is but apparently this was not mutual because I hear "Hey, TDK!", and as I approach the figure resolves into none other than John Flansburgh in a bathrobe. 😲
We chatted for a couple of minutes, and he mentioned that he had just spent way too long in the hot tub. And that was just the first day of the cruise! 🚢
The amazingly talented @mojo-chestermaster helped me immortalize my unforgettable encounter 😍
