Cormag- Sacred Stones
You’re only wyvern knight outside of the post game, he’s scary looking and out to avenge his brother.
Boons: Lance, Sword, Flying
Banes: Reason, Faith
Combat Arts: Vengeance (C+), Glowing Ember (A), Sunder (C+)
Spells: Fire (D), Bolganone (C), HealNos, Recover
Authority: Battalion Desperation (C), Battalion Wrath (A)
I was tempted to just give him lances and flying, but he can get swords and I do like him as a wyvern lord. He doesn’t have the axe talent to go with the wyvern classes in 3H, but then he can’t go peg knight anyway so it’s still the obvious pick for him, especially given how good those classes are. Plus being neutral isn’t that huge an issue, the generic axe arts are good enough generally, and the axe classes have good mastery skills so there’d be plenty of reasons to train him up with axes anyway. Combat arts were easy enough, Vengeance is so obvious it’s a bit on the nose and Glowing Ember goes with his solid defense and to a lesser extent his fire affinity. Sunder is a no frills boosted damage and crit attack that fits his nature more than the dodgier attacks. Spells are simple, fire spells for his affinity and a weakness in both types of magic since his personality doesn’t seem fitting for a healer and he shows unfamiliarity with magical artifacts in his Artur supports. Worth noting, I wanted to incorporate the story of how he was recruited when he and his brother threw stones at stray dogs following Vigarde’s carriage, but I don’t feel like thats enough so justify like a hidden bow talent. If anything, I’d give him a personal that boost hit/damage with thrown weapons.

Had this dream earlier where I was an extra in Sacred Stones, and there was this big battle that the army was gearing up for, and I remember standing next to Artur while he gave this big speech to everyone about how he was willing to follow Cormag into battle anywhere, how he would give his all to defend him and lay down his life if needed. And I looked at him and was like "Why are you, as a man, devoting your life to another man? 🤨" He would not give me a straight answer lmao.
