Top five non/disney crossover ships (I’ve gotten curious, and Bear in mind you’re allowed to choose people you’d like to see together, not just ones you’ve already seen)
Okay, I can't put these from favorite to least favorite, just in a random order, because my mind is weird and I can go on or off liking them with the breeze:
The Boy and the Beast + Wolf Children: Ichirohiko/Ame. Because I like to think that Hosoda Mamoru's movies are set in their own dimension/multiverse, I have a soft spot that has grown for these two boys being incredibly stupid, but with the possibility of being incredibly loving, too.
Leafie: A Hen into the Wild + Far From the Tree: Greenie/Marie. The animation is very similar and I have a soft spot for interspecies romance that doesn't have to be physical, just loving.
Banjo the Woodpile Cat + Rock-a-Doodle: Banjo/Edmund. From what I can calculate, the films technically take place canonically within the same time period and, had Edmund not returned to human form in his trainwreck of a movie, it would have been nice for him to find another country cat that had experienced the Big City and didn't like it.
Millennium Actress + Tokyo Godfathers: Ida Kyoji/Miyuki. Both of these young people grew up with and were friends with insanely eccentric people, and it feels right that they might get along as friends and they move along into something more once either one opened up about stories of their lives.
The Last Unicorn + Fire & Ice: Prince Lir/Nekron. I have no excuses except the idea of Amelthea as a transmasc entered my mind once and immediately jumped over to the sociopath sonofabitch and how well Lir could probably handle him after living with Haggard for so long. If anything this repressed brat would probably be much easier.
