how do u make ur traditional art so.... crisp and clean?? is it the pencils you use? my art always ends up smeared and hard to see

?39,6;93 I try . I think the two things that help are my Specific Tool and how im used to using It.

For refernece this has been my pencil for about 2 years now and 3 full sketchbooks. Its a .5 size sanrio mechanical pencil I got from my art teacher. I refuse to use .7 and it makes me a problem. I also cant use wood pencils cus of how much they hurt but I do like the feel of them a lot they are just VERY different from mechanical pencils to me.

The other thing you have to understand about my traditional art is for about a year I refuses to use pencils. Like just outright would not touch them. From that ive just kinda naturally stopped using all erasers 3);06>{+~%|+~>{. It certainly helps. But like yea this is a single page of my old sketchbook I just liked pens :-). I think it still shows in my art but yeah.

I think the last thing is I probably post around 3% of the traditional art I make? There are pages upon pages of filled sketchbooks I just. Dont want to share cus I dont have to. Theyre for me! I draw for me in them so I only really share the best. My recent sketchbook pages arent as visually appealing as like. The one above but like they dont need to be theyre for testing ideas and fucking around and drawing knights kissing as I watch youtube videos

Fucking just do whatever. Draw a fuck ton. Find a pencil you like and refuse to bring it anywhere for fear of loosing it. Use pens religiously for an entire year (dont do that I had to relearn how to use values and pencils. Unironically it was awful). And more importantly make for u.
