Yeahhh I accidentally made another comic. By accidentally I mean I just sketched out the first panel, and thought, nah, that self-sacrificing shtick isn't going to sit well with Ritsuka and drew out the rest of the panels. I definitely have a problem with the impulsive comic making at this point.

Also Bedi deserves all the hugs.

Bonus Bedi hugs back.

In my head, the BediGuda dynamic is they love to throw each other gestures of affection but turn to mush on receiving it, heh.

Childe and the 4.1

I never expected that Genshin Fontaine would take me back again to the game, because of a single character: Childe. Ever since I started the game, he's my second reason why I play this game (the first being I simply like the open world), and the main reason why I'm looking for Sheznaya. At the time 4.0 dropped, I almost gave up on Genshin because I no longer have that much attachment to the game anymore... until this ginger dude appeared at the end of the trailer. I'M BACK EVERYONE!

Here I compiled some random Childe theory, between him and Fontaine and abyss and everything else, probably. Bro just casually lore bomb us in 4.0+

This one mentioned Arthurian Legends along with Scathatch and Cu Chulainn, my FGO soul is blessed (cuz finally I kinda understand something from Genshin's way too vast lore LOL)

Probably a stretch, but there's a chance that Childe is Albedo's missing brother (lmao??)

And my own analysis based on his character profile, Childe won't die. He may be suffering a bit, but he'll definitely live because of how proud he is of his words and he already promised the traveler to show his homeland and! He also said that he'd do everything to not die in the battle.

So at least his connections are:

Affiliation: Fatui (Sheznaya)

Working Placement: Liyue (Liyue Archon Quest); Inazuma (2.2 event)

Hailed Powers: Abyssal, including Skirk's teachings and the whale; Vision; Delusion since he's a Fatuu

Childe's abyssal powers are the ones that need to be 'studied' to crack the code of whatever happened in Fontaine. Based on the first video I found that Childe's inspiration was probably a mix of the Trojan War, Ulster Cycle, and Arthurian legends (bro this is Fate series all over again). While dude personally seems like Ajax+Poseidon (water+shapeshift)+Cu Chulainn. His "water" (hydro) attribute is the most interesting here, because I think it's the most relevant to the whale.

First video also stated that we can treat Skirk like Circe or Scathatch, and this once again, made my FGO brain digest everything easier LOL so there's another theory that Skirk is also a witch in Alice & Gold's group so she somehow managed to survive long enough AND she's probably also Childe's ancestor (hint: blue eyes).

In the other videos, I found that maybe the whale (or narwhal) is related to the ancient era and it's "will" (?) harbored hatred for the "sinners", thus it wants to devour everything (?) and Childe came to answer it's call? Honestly I stil have no idea what's the deal of primordial sea and ancient ones, I simply don't really understand lol. Maybe Childe need to stop that thing from devour everything, that's why Skirk trained him, because Childe is the one who can hear the call?

I didn't expect bro just spit out his character story in the broad Fontaine daylight, and how the entire 4.1 happened because of him. He's even way more relevant here than in Liyue. I'm so glad that my first *5 is a very relevant character through time, especially in terms of lore and gameplay (I still use him in F12 abyss).

That's all for my brainstorm today, I just want to make properly explained fancomic lol

So instead of sleeping heres my first comic for the lovely fic the kid by @ziracona I wanted to challenge myself to make a simple silhouette based comic and this is the result.

I know the phrase “blood on your body blood on your hands blood all around you till nobody stands”isn’t even in the fic, I just think of it when I think about the scene where Cu is a badass. And I do think about that scene a lot as it’s my favorite scene in the fic so far!!
