Feylin Week Official Prompts
Why these prompts? Below the cut
Feyre and Tamlin are both artists, Feyre with her visually artistic talent and Tamlin with his musical one. How do you think they share talents with each other? Would one try to teach the other, how do you see that going? Bring your vision to life!
Protection is a huge part of their relationship. Tamlin protects her Feyre from the naga, he protects her from Rhysand, from Amarantha. Feyre, in a way, via her trials Under the Mountain, protects him as well. Additionally, protection isn't always physical, so what ways so you think Feylin protects each other?
Feylin isn't endgame in canon so we must simply make our own. Had you been in charge of their story, how would it unfold? Are they still together, or perhaps they still split but in a satisfactory way? Do they remain friends? Endless possibilities!
A tale as old as time... With a twist. What parts of Feylin's story emulate the original fairytale to you? Who is Beauty and who is Beast? Who knows how their relationship would unfold had their retelling remained the exact same? You could!

Don't ask me why, but this is the first thing I thought of when I saw this prompt. Disney's Beauty and the Beast is one of my all-time favorite movies, and when reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I couldn't help but wonder how much inspiration SJM took from the animated classic.
Really, Lady Midnight, I can hear you say, you didn't think of the romantic ballroom scene, or the transformation scene at the end? You thought of this scene? This one, for the most romantic prompt on the list? Really??? And the answer is, yes. Yes, I did. 😅 But he isn't even in his beast form in this scene in the book--Sh sh shshshs.

This is a little headcanon I thought of for @feylinweek. It fits the Day 1 prompt.
Feyre and Tamlin are each other's muses. Tamlin will write songs for Feyre and serenade her often. Feyre can't stop painting Tamlin until she can perfectly capture his beauty, but she's so picky that it never comes out right.

Day One Prompt: Art and Music
(I was kind of loose with this prompt lol)
Feyre held the paintbrush steady as she handed it to her student, again, with a quiet sigh.
She knew to be patient, but Tamlin’s chuckle was really getting under her skin.
“Tam… you’re not helping.”
Tamlin turned to the side and bit his lip, trying once again to suppress his laughter, but he failed as he once again turned to Feyre in front of him.
She was glaring now. The easel next to her, only covered in a few splatters of paint, stood tall and imposing in front of the small stool with all of Feyre’s paints and supplies.
“Tam…”
There was warning in her voice, and he looked down again, knowing he wouldn’t be able to control himself if he kept this up.
So he stood up and stepped back, deciding to go downstairs with their son while Feyre tried—and once again failed—to teach their three-year-old daughter how to paint.
Shaking her head, Feyre turned back to her daughter and kneeled down, holding a palette with a variety of different paints for her to choose from.
Adora blinked, looking up at her mother with her big, green eyes, before once again tossing the paintbrush aside.
Before Feyre could react, though, Adora put her hands in the paint, giggling, before painting on the easel with her fingers.
With a smile, Feyre leaned forward and kissed her daughter’s forehead, ready to treasure whatever this painting would turn out to be.

We Are Live!
Welcome to the official blog that will be hosting and running Feylin Week 2024. This is the first Feylin Week, hopefully of many, so it will only last five days instead of the traditional seven. Mark your calendars, May 1st - 5th will be about all things Feylin. Fanfics, Moodboards, Playlists, and more are welcome! Simply tag this blog or use the tag #feylinweek2024, and your contribution will be reblogged and added to the Masterlists as soon as possible
Why Those Days?
This poll, had the week originally be set for April, but the month is already filled with three separate fandom events, and adding a fourth may overwhelm those who wish to participate, so the week has been pushed a month and will now be help in May. All future weeks, however, will still be held May 5th - 11th
Can I Help?
For the upcoming week, no, as too many details are already set, but if you wish to help run or technically contribute to potential future weeks, reach out to [email protected]. You can also use the email if you want to participate privately (stealth Feylin shippers) Please do not spam this email with hate or vitriol, it is a fandom space for others to enjoy and communicate.
Do I have to stick to the prompts?
Not at all. The prompts will be more guidelines than rules. They’re there for inspiration and to remind people of Feylin moments that they may not remember to make participation easier. Additionally, the days aren’t deadlines, works for Day One can be posted on Day Three. The Masterlists for each day won’t be posted until the week is over, so don’t stress trying to adhere to the timeline.
Prompts will be posted next week, March 19th. Feel free to ask more questions, I hope you’ll have fun!

Feylin Week is here! Remember to check out the pinned post if you have any questions or need to look at the prompts again. Daily Quotes will start rolling out soon, but you can still submit your favorite even while the week is running. Though the week officially ends on the 5th, Day Masterlists will be released on the 9th at 6:00 PM EST, so you can still submit your contributions for four extra days, and even after that, as long as it's a new work or a new chapter for an existing work, just tag @feylinweek, and your work will be reblogged.
