Movie questions! 2 and 47 (:
Holo, @felinarealista ! I love this :)2. You most rewatched movie
Wow, difficult, because I’d watched the same movies since 2005.I’d say “The sound of music” (La novicia rebelde) it’s my most rewatched one, as it is the one I’ve watched the most not-in-a-loop (Like Shrek and Disney’s Cinderella (animated) that apparently as a kid I couldn’t stop watching - according to my dad)
And maybe, 2005′s Pride and Prejudice ( I loooooove Jane Austen’s book adaptations, you know)
47. Movies that you think everyone should watch (not necessarily your favorites)
Okay... umm... this might be a bit of a long list, so... breathe in, breathe out... Let’s go!
1. The sixth sense - I know for plot twists now it may be very predictable. But I watched it as a kid and HELL, YEAH. Best movie ever. I hate suspense and scary movies, but I like this one.
2. The others - Similar reasons to the previous one.
3. Schindler’s list - Great acting, amazing production, serious topic, historical. It offers a perspective on Nazism and the actors of one of the most horrible moments of modern time.
4. La vita è bella - Same as before, but from a different perspective(TVN me destruyó la infancia con esta película. La vi cada vez que la daban)
5. Philadelphia - Portrait of a person with HIV-AIDS and how it affects his professional life & personal relationships (LGBT+)
6. Pride - A based-on-a-true-story movie with amazing characters and lessons of how people struggling against the government must unite and fight back (LGBT+) ( I fucking hate Margaret Thatcher)
7. Prayers for Bobby - How religion affects our perception of LGBT+ people and how it hurts families and society.
8. Spotlight - Based on a true story. How the religious community protected the priests linked to pedophilia cases.
9. Forrest Gump - I love this movie, and I think is one of the good ones you watch just because it warms your heart, makes you cry and laugh and smile because you are having good time.
10. I am Sam - Portrait of a disabled person and parent. Good acting, amazing topic, excellent perspective, happy-ish ending.
11. Selma - Powerful movie that shows the battle Martin Luther King fought defending civil rights for African-descendants in the USA.
12. Mona lisa smile - Portrait of how education has guided women into a male-chauvinist model of behavior, thinking and development. I know there are more serious, historical movies for the topic, but one of the quotes of this movie about women deciding to stay at home, makes this movie a must for me.
13. The Help - A delightful book, a enjoyable movie. Strong characters. Interesting portrait of the relationship between maids, nannies and the families/kids they take care of.
14. Dangerous minds - true story of a teacher in a marginalised neighbourhood’s school. I think for future teachers and teachers, it’s a must.
15. Pay it forward - Interesting movie/topic. Something to show kids so they get thrilled and excited about doing something for others in the community. Not a happy ending, though.
There must be more movies I think people should watch, but I’d leave it at 15.
Thanks for asking, I love these posts :D
(Sorry about any misspelling word)

I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!
Ooh! I hadn't heard about this book ._. Adding it to my tbr list right now!
Thanks for letting me know of its existence 😁 Sounds exciting!

Me quiero retractar de lo que no dije
De lo que calle
De lo que solté en la mirada
Que no obedece
Que es temeraria
Se ennegrece y entristece
Sin pedir permiso
A veces grosera
Sobreprotectora a ratos
Me quiero retractar de lo que no dije
Pero no de lo que hubiera respondido
Si hubieras preguntado
