Lately I've been thinking constantly about people's attitude to art. Because it is not something that just exists like the sea or the trees. It is something that a person – imperfect like everyone else, a perfectly normal person – has created. Except for some skill and feeling that not everyone possesses. I vividly remember a scene from that children 's Avatar series, where the main character, who is only a boy but is the last Airbender and lord of all elements, depends on the fate of the whole world. So, in this scene, one of the other characters said that sometimes he forgets how strong Eng (the main character) is. And I think having some talent is the same – people keep forgetting that you are capable of creating art. And that's perfectly normal – your talent is not the center of the world for others. Very often he is not even the center of your world. For a person who cannot sing, it is just as unclear how another does amazing things with his voice as it is unclear and how the sea came about. Finally, it turns out that you have to stop fiddling with your talent so that people never forget about it. But this is not an option for everyone. And I generally avoid making calls, but this time I will make an exception, because it is terribly sad for me to see how many invaluable artists there are and how a poet's name is felt only after his tragic (or not so much) death. And how ironic is the fact that we only notice people after they have disappeared. Therefore, my call is not to bypass art because, although it is eternal, its creators are not.
