 Our lives involve fashion every day — from the things we see in our house, from our environment, and the other people. Fashion is more than just clothes. Other than clothes and accessories, fashion can also encompass many other aspects of our daily lives - people can be fashionable with their choice of house, car, furniture, as well as the places where they eat and unwind. It represents that fashion is an art and that we look at art every day. It brings life to people and things. For an instance, once you restyled or redesigned an old thing that used to look dull and hopeless, you renewed its spirit by bringing fashion — a.k.a life. Fashion isn’t just art but reflects the character of oneself. It is a form of expression without using words but style. One can say she’s bubbly and upbeat by wearing clothes with bright colors. One can also say she’s fierce and daring by wearing darker colors. Nonetheless, people can still style themselves whatever they like. Their personalities may be colorful but can still wear clothes with different and far from themselves as a challenge. Fashion also involves telling stories through clothing. It can be about the stories behind them and the ones you create around them. A piece of clothing can tell the background of its designer or even the one who’s wearing it. You can associate the touchstone of cultural influence, history, or knowledge with the clothes you wear. We embrace it to get away from the daily grind and embrace and cherish tradition. It's about a sense of history and culture, and it represents more than just a piece of clothing worn to cover bodies.

Fashion is like armor. It makes the person who wears it feels more secured and protected. It brings confidence and power. An example of this is the main character’s clothing style in It’s Okay to Not be Okay. Ko Moon Young’s fashion style is a vital part of her personality and character. The psychiatrist in the drama then explains why she dresses extravagantly. It is said that it's not so much that she wants to show off as it is because she deems her clothes as armor — protective and obscure. Fashion can be used to boost confidence and defend people from feeling shitty about themselves. A basic piece of clothing can be a significant component of a person. When we’re dressed according to what we like and what delights us, it boosts our self-esteem. Just like me, I am more confident when I am wearing the types of clothes that I like. Black-colored and well-fitting clothes are what boost my self-confidence. Like what they say, the shade Black can be perceived as mysterious, serious, powerful, elegant, and many more. People will never know what am I trying to express when I’m wearing it and it's just the way I like it. To be unpredictable and to surprise people. What I know is that any Black clothes please my eyes and it makes me feel more compelling when I’m wearing them. It makes me more intimidating, bolder, and makes my skin glow even more. Fitted and bodycon clothes show the shape of my body. It allows me to show off my curves and receive compliments from others, which fills me with enthusiasm and appreciation. I feel stronger, more shored up, and better protected when I wear clothes that satisfy me and which I believe that brings out the best in me.

What makes fashion important? Like the world, fashion is changing and is continuously evolving. To sum it all up, fashion allows people to express who they are, it reflects every culture in the world, it’s an armor that makes people feel more secured and protected, and makes people feel greater than themselves, and boosts their confidence. Fashion helps to highlight our creative selves because it provides us with information to explore our creativity, how to mix and match, choose and use other accessories that will add more brilliance and difference to what we are wearing. It brings out the talent in people because fashion can be used as a platform for the people to bring out their creativity and talent just like designing, styling, tailoring, etc. It makes us versatile and brings out our spontaneous self as well. Our clothing has become more than just a means to cover our nakedness; it has also evolved into one of the key means through which individuals express themselves. Fashion in clothing is defined as wearing clothes that highlight a person’s best features while also impressing others with their superb taste. In addition, fashion plays an important role in society because it allows us to express ourselves and define our personalities, as well as visually convey our aspirations and tastes. Not only does it allow us to define our style and differentiate ourselves from others, but it also allows us to function and be recognized in society. Fashion is a part of popular culture that shapes our society and social standards. Our society embraces people from all walks of life and inspires everyone. Fashion has a global influence and any fashion we find is enjoyed and appreciated all over the world.
