Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn is much in my mind these days because of preparing for Sinfonia Toronto's Mozart & Mendelssohn concerts on the 25th and 26th. Had to review my Mendelssohn House photos from couple of years ago when I visited Leipzig. Mendelssohn's story can't be told without his sister Fanny. Their symbiotic relationship and their strong influence on each other's compositions was much ignored for a long time. Happy to know now that Leipzig Mendelssohn Haus has finally added a permanent exhibit for Fanny on the third floor.
