When I was 11, I took up the flute in band class for a couple of years. Then I gave it up because it wasn’t “cool” enough, and switched from band to drama. When I got into the music of Jethro Tull later in junior high, I regretted my decision. I recently picked up the flute again. Ian Anderson has nothing to worry about, but I am having lots of fun.

The Empty Studio Streets by Disney Photo Tour Via Flickr: Today, we head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for a shot of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The best time to get this shot is while Fantasmic is being shown because there is nobody around. Not only was I able to get the perfect photo but I was able to get to know this really nice cast member in the process. It turns out, I was able to help her by giving her tips for shooting some Disney pics of her own. Here's my tip for the day: Don't get so involved with your shot that you don't allow yourself to make small talk with that cast member who is only three feet from you. You'll never know how nice that person may be. Have a great weekend!

I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone for the birthday wishes. It’s always great to wake up to such lovely loving well wishes. Sadly I won’t be able to celebrate a milestone birthday with a big birthday party, but I still had a GREAT one. I was surrounded by family and got well wishes from friends and family and my beautiful son and I couldn’t be happier. My kiddo has been an angel all day. I wish everyday could be as nice as today was. I got to have dinner with my son, parents, bro,sis, bro-in-law, niece, and nephew and his wife. This page will chronical my weight loss journey. For the past 15 years I’ve been creating, delivering, and raising our 5 beautiful children aged 1 to 14 years old. This November, I will be turning 40; and I’m looking forward to closing down the baby making chapter of my life and getting back to my beautiful, confident, and fabulous self! This last trip to the studios was a rare on for me because of the fact that it was the first time that I didn't get a chance to ride The Tower of Terror and I was a little disappointed.
