I know you’re on a kinkmas grind (I’ve been loving it!) but I can’t help but think about Willa at the holidays! You may have done this before (I may have been the one to even suggest it even lol) but imagine Willa learning about the various holidays. Steve teaches her about Christmas and gets Thor to dress up like Santa. She learns about Hanukkah from Bucky and they light candles together. Idk I just love coming up with Willa fluff.
hey sweet friend, happy holidays! i was indeed very busy with kinkmas when i received this but i still wanted to give a little answer about willa's holiday season as you and a few anons sent in asks about it 🫶
note: i wanted to include willa learning about a wide variety of religions and cultures, but i'm not an expert on anything so if i got anything wrong or anything should be adjusted please let me know!! i will be so happy and grateful to learn more 💕
the end of the year is a crazy time for willa-bug, she's so busy! i didn't know bucky was jewish (and a quick google search wasn't very helpful on confirming this) but if he is, i love that!! and then yes he definitely does hanukkah stuff with her, lighting the candles and maybe she even makes him little presents for each night of hanukkah 🥺 she also wants some of the other friends (peter, thor, wanda, clint...) to come celebrate with bucky too, and bring gifts and participate in all the festivities with him!
i bet she and peter do advent calendars together, he gets her an avenger themed one and she finds him a spiderman one lol 🥺 maybe steve invites peter and wanda to stay over for the first 25 days of december and makes a big deal about them and willa getting to experience "christmas-time in a proper home" 💕 they do all sorts of traditional stuff that steve loves: baking and cooking, decorating the house, fun little crafts, putting up a christmas tree, etc. maybe the whole team comes over one night to help decorate the tree, and they all bring some ornaments to contribute so that willa and steve can have a nice selection for every year 🥺 christmas eve is super fun, she sets out cookies and milk for santa- then in the morning, steve and the kids all gather around the christmas tree and santa brought sooo many presents! (wanda and peter made sure to bring willa out to get lots for steve too ofc 🫶)
a silly little side note: willa's letter to santa is so precious 🥺 at five, she's just learning to write and can't spell yet, so she asks steve to write it out for her so she can copy it down onto her paper. the first part of the letter is just her talking to santa, asking how he is and how all the reindeer are and if he has to wear a bunch of coats in the north pole lol. she asks for a few things for herself but then she asks for a present for each of her friends too, bc thor told her that grown-ups don't write letters to santa and she wants to make sure santa knows exactly what they would like!! so if she's the only one writing to him, she's gotta put in a word for them herself 🥺 she also writes "please" after each thing so santa can see she's using her manners 😭 steve is already tearing up as he listens to her and writes it out for her in big, easy to read letters. then when he sees it written out in her own five-year-old script, he's practically clutching his heart he can't take the cuteness 😭 he definitely saves it, tucks it away somewhere safe to show her when she grows up
willa isn't ready for proper preschool but steve does bring her to an early childhood education program where parents stay and play 💕 she makes lots of friends, many who have different backgrounds that she gets to learn about! she gets to learn about ramadan and eid ul-fitr, as well as eid ul-adha from one classmate whose mom invites her and steve to come join them for iftar! another friend tells her all about chinese new year and shows pictures from the festival she went to last year with her family.
steve definitely raises her to be interested in and respectful of all other cultures and religions! he teaches her what traditions and holidays he celebrates, but also encourages her to find out what other important people in her life believe in and celebrate, and to value those things as well. maybe he gets her a big calendar to hang on the wall where they can mark all their holidays, and their friends' holidays too! so they can remember to celebrate along with them in ways they find meaningful 💕

Because I felt like typing down more Miraak headcanons
Miraak is about 6′ 5″ ft (~198 cm for metric folks)
He doesn’t handle emotional moments well (he freezes; miraak.exe stopped working, etc). He tries to be there and be helpful although he has a tendency to think it is not enough. He can be there to provide hugs and cuddles though.
When he TRIES to be emotional or require emotional support, he cannot stare face-to-face with the other person/S.O. Likes to lean his head against their back instead and hold them, or bury his face in their chest.
He mumbles in his sleep occasionally, and sometimes says something rather romantic and sweet he be too bashful to say face-to-face. (”Dii faad,”Dii krein,” “Dein kiim faad.”)
Adamantly refuses to ever admit he is/was wrong ... unless you twist his arm to do so.
Very knowledgeable about incenses
While having quite a few scars across his body, he doesn’t really have any tattoos.
Hot springs are his favorite place to relax, next to his library
Terrible bed hair in the morning
Sometimes forget to eat enough
After settling back in Tamriel more, his favorite food are pastries and occasionally can be bribed with them

i will not write it this way bc i have other (evil) plans but… can you imagine willa turning to dust in steve’s arms during the infinity war snap? tw: character death 🌝
people are crumbling into piles of ashes all around. as we saw in the movie, it’s taking everyone a moment to understand what’s happened. as soon as steve reaches the realization himself, a little pair of arms are wrapping around his legs; willa escaped from where she was being held in the wakandan compound (for her safety) and went looking for her daddy. steve leans down to gather her up into the safety of his arms, but as his gaze falls onto her, he’s horrified to see a patch of her little cheek beginning to chafe off. his heart drops so heavily, he can feel it in his stomach. “d-daddy?” her knees give out beneath her and steve collapses down with her, wrapping her up as tightly as he can. as if he holds her close enough, believes it hard enough, he could will his wish into existence: to spare her of thanos’ sacrifice. “daddy—?” her little head falls onto his shoulder as more of it begins to disintegrate. “hurts, daddy— help?” he can’t form words as he watches her blow away with the wind. her little teddy bear dropping to the ground as her hands dissolve.
later, alone, steve sits silently in the girl’s empty room. her last words playing over and over in his mind, overcome with the guilt of being unable to help her, to save her. remembering thanos’ promise: to restore peace to the galaxies by making a fair, impartial sacrifice. half the universe, chosen at random. steve can’t sit with the odds, so he turns his blame towards god. how did god choose? how could have chosen her?

What would Willa be for Halloween?
ohhhhhhhhh listen i am absolutely down to write this hc rn i am so excited for halloween thankyou for sending this !!!!!!!!!
so she definitely gets so excited when steve explains halloween to her: “get to dress up? anything i want? and- and get candy too??” 🥺 she’s a little overwhelmed at the thought of anything she wants, so steve suggests maybe she goes as a character from a favorite movie or show. but then peter mentions she could go as a superhero, and she’s immediately set on “i wanna go as daddy” 🥺😭 so she gets the coolest little captain america costume and steve even gets a custom little shield made for her 🥺🥺 and bucky decides to come along with steve and her for trick-or-treating and they end up going as thor (steve) and spider man (bucky) and buck’s such a good sport about it even tho he thinks spider man’s really a little shit hehe 🥺 and thor borrows steve the hammer ‘cause he can lift it 😎 they don’t go trick-or-treating at home, instead they go to the tower bc the whole tower has a thing setup where employees kids can go around and trick-or-treat on different floors. and on the top floor willa’s friends are all dressed as characters from her favorite shows and movies 🥺🥺🥺 wanda is princess belle and nat is princess ariel. thor and peter are nemo (peter) and dory (thor.) clint’s there and he brings lilah and they’re Steve (clint) and blue (lilah) from blue’s clues. bruce is olaf from frozen. sam comes and he’s big bird from sesame street. carol comes and she’s tinker bell. (someone requested once i include Paul rudd so here you go bb) scott lang shows up as woody from toy story 🥺🥺 it’s so cute and wonderful and willa has sooooo much fun, and as she goes around to trick-or-treat she’s so so proud to say “i’m dressed up as my favorite super hero, my daddy, captain america!!” she’s so proud and excited to be just like daddy 🥺😫😭💕 when the party’s over and she’s sorting her candy with Peter in the living room, she realizes none of her friends got any candy bc they were handing it out so she goes around and shares some of hers with everyone bc she’s such a good sharer 🥺💕🥺💕 she falls asleep in the car on the way home 🥰

faad headcanon idea from @chcmpagnes: steve learning to do willa’s hair 🥺
!!! okay so you know who helps him!!! thor 😭 bc he does braids and stuff with his own hair. maybe he even suggests “i’ve noticed you’re hesitant to style the little one’s hair. it’s a shame, she has a beautiful head of it. if you’d like, i can teach you” and one thing leads to another and they end up with a few of those like barbie styling heads to practice on 😭😭 and steve reeaaaallly struggles at first but he tries hard, and willa’s always super supportive 🥺 “that looks so good, daddy!” and “look! it’s so much better than the last one!” and “i’m so proud of you! you’re doing a great job!” 🥺😭 eventually he gets the hang of it and he starts doing willa’s actual hair, sometimes thor does his own to match 🥺🥰 maybe peter styles a wig so they can all be the same! and whenever daddy styles willa’s hair she never wants to take it out, she waits right up until bath time bc it’s so special and she knows he worked so hard on it 🥺 wherever she goes, whoever she meets, she’s sure to tell them, “my daddy did my hair!”

It’s me again with random Willa thoughts! Do you think she’d like the beach? Hanging with Steve under an umbrella playing with sand toys and looking for shells 🥺
okay i’ve been holding onto this for too long— here i go !!!
willa is initially very frightened of the beach 🥺 the first time she goes, it’s a windier day and the waves are big and intimidating. she probably cries and clings to steve (maybe buck’s along too) and so they just stay on the shore. steve and bucky try to engage in like sandcastle building and seashell collecting but she’s too unsettled by the waves so they go home.
but the second time she goes steve does a lot more planning and it’s a very calm day where the water’s almost standing still. and he, bucky, peter, and thor all get her really excited by doing a bunch of mermaid themed stuff with her. watching the little mermaid, she gets a mermaid barbie and mermaid books, etc. so she’s very excited to “play mermaids” when she goes 🥺💖 they build a big sandcastle and willa collects a shell for each of her friends!!

Willa headcanon incoming!!! During the month of June Willa sees lots of rainbows around for pride month and she LOVES it (because Rainbows are great) and she asks her Daddy about it. Steve explains that the rainbows are a symbol of pride and what pride month is for and Willa loves it even more.
OKAY BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. hold on. hold on a second because, ,, remember when willa didn’t know what a mommy and daddy was??? 😭 and so steve and bruce had to explain it to her?? honestly i’ve always thought that she would just have literally 0 stigmatized concept of lgbtq because she grew up in such a weird environment that she had to learn even “normal” (one mom and one dad) parental roles for the first time from steve and the team. and they of course educate her very well and make sure she’s properly informed, they probably say something like “parents in families can look like all sorts of different things. there can be one parent, two parents, more than that, sometimes the parents are the same sex, sometimes they live together and sometimes they don’t, etc.” and so when she learns about pride, she learns that some people are treated differently because they love the same sex or they have a different gender identity, and it genuinely just confuses her and breaks her heart because “why is it wrong, daddy? there’s nothing wrong with that, you can’t help who you love. and you can’t help who you are inside” 🥺 she is the perfect example of how things like homophobia, transphobia, etc. are TAUGHT AND LEARNED. omg also she’s probably like “there’s nothing wrong with boys loving boys! that’s what you and bucky do, right daddy?” 😌🫶

aww haha 🥺okay to be fair, i don’t think willa’d have the courage to actually knock/open the door, but maybe here’s what would happen…
she’d make it all the way there, but be too scared to actually go through with it 😔 so she’d be standing in front of his closed door for a while, trembling in the shadows of the hallway. maybe someone would pass her on their way to the bathroom or to get a glass of water, like bruce? he’d ask, “what’s goin’ on, kiddo? you lookin’ for steve?” she’d be too scared to respond most likely. bruce would go back to his room and text him, that’s how he’d know. opening up the door to the frightened little girl would break his heart; he’d be down on his knees in front of her in an instant. maybe the sight of him would be too much to resist, she’d jump right into his arms and cling to him, and he’d carry her to his bed for lots of snuggles and her favorite bedtime story 😭

okay yes yes yes yes 🥺💕 here’s how it happens:
nat gifts willa a little jewelry box, one of those ones that’s also a music box with the spinning ballerina, and willa is just!!!! so enamored with it, she thinks the “little lady in the box” is the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen, so steve asks if she wants to try out ballet classes and she has the time of her life 😭😭 it’s also a great opportunity for her to start being around other kids her age, he finds a smaller studio with small classes (like 4 or 5 kids at a time) and it’s scary but she does end up loving it and probably making friends!! and nat absolutely loves coming to watch and helping her with some private “training,” it’s such a wholesome and safe way for her to return to the sport that was once so traumatizing for her in the red room. like it’s a way for nat to reclaim the beautiful art of dance healthily, while doing it with a little girl she loves 💕 and when willa’s first recital comes around, the whole team shows up and they all bring her flowers and presents and it’s just so special 🥺🥺 and steve ??? he’s beside himself, he couldn’t be prouder of his baby 😭🤧

yes yes yes absolutely yes !!! you guys get it!!! you guys are the girls who get it!!!
okay so you know who takes willa out to buy a dress tho? bucky 🥺 and it’s because sweet willa asks him a few days before to take her to find something, because steve asked her to be his valentine and she wants to look nice for their daddy daughter date 😭😭so of course buck takes her out and they find something absolutely adorable!! and when steve sees her all dolled up, even with a little lip gloss bucky got her, he’s brought to tears 🥺😭 he calls her his best girl an ungodly amount of times on their date lol. and !!! the team organize a little valentine exchange, like the ones they do in grade school, since willa isn’t in proper preschool/kindergarten. so everyone (including steve and willa) makes a decorated box, and everyone makes valentines for everyone else and they have a little party at the tower to exchange!! tonky doesn’t show up, but sweet willa still made him a valentine despite everything 🥲 just bc she is too precious and kind and she doesn’t want him to feel “left out” 😭😭 and steve/the others don’t have the heart to stop her

to be completely honest, at five years old, i don’t think steve lets her get an ipad 😫 “that stuff’ll rot her brain” says the boomer!! but she has a leap pad, does anyone remember those?? i had one as a kid 🥸 anyway, so let’s say this is a thing where the tv breaks before one of willa’s playdates with thor and peter— so before she comes to the tower they’re gathering costumes and props to put on a live show for her 🥺 thor is peppa obviously 😌 idek peppa pig characters lol but he is peppa. maybe there are other shows too, like the backyardigans!! peter is pablo, thor insists upon being uniqua lol. maybe they even rangle wanda and clint into participating too. and sam and bucky 🥺🥺 it’s a whole theater in the living room! so much fun and willa cheers so happily and supportively for every scene!! nat sits with her and takes videos to send to steve 😂

oh aww hehe 🥺💕 this is so sweet i love this!! i feel like you’re correct, willa doesn’t do much picking out of her own stuff bc she’s so shy and anxious to ask for things. she does have lots of clothes bc everyone on the team loves buying stuff for her, i feel like especially peter, nat, wanda, maybe clint ? bc he’s a dad. and thor buys her some… interesting pieces lol. but she thinks they are so so special bc they come from him 🥰 i feel like steve loves choosing outfits for her tbh, like he just thinks she is so stinkin cute in whatever she wears 🥺 also whatever animals, colors, shows, etc. she’s into at any given moment, he’s sure to get her stuff that matches. her fullest drawer is definitely her jammie drawer, he just can’t stop finding all these cute onesies 😭 also she has a big bin of hair ties, clips, bows, and all that fun stuff and steve does lots of research on how to braid well, he even uses her dolls to practice!! i love writing these little headcanons for faad aww it’s so sweet to me when you guys send in your little ideas, the fact that you’re thinking about this series as you go about your day to day lives is just 🥺🥺 i need to make a lil masterlist for these, bc now i have this one, the holiday one, and maybe a few more? even tho requests are closed pls ALWAYS feel free to send me your faad headcanon thoughts 🥰

okay so i gotta be real i have only seen one barbie movie :’-) it was one of the mermaid ones? the one with bibble (i think that was his name???? the little blue and purple fuzzball???) buuuuuut willa loves them!! i don’t know if peter’s seen any of them but when willa gets her first barbie, he’s sure to marathon them all with her (& thor 😌) for sure!!! the two guys are so adorably enthusiastic about them just bc it makes willa so so happy 🥺 thor’s always trying to predict the endings and loves to comment on the fashion lol, maybe he even lets willa do his long blonde hair with her barbie hair set 😭😭 and he truly is unbothered when the group pokes fun at him during the big reveal of his new style, he’s like, “what’s so funny? it makes my tiny friend pleased. i think she did splendidly.” 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭

oooh oh i really needed to write out a sweet little hc for our favorite super family today so thankyou for sending me this- absolutely easter is so fun for her, as all holidays are bc the whole team is truly just elated to get to do fun things for the little one whenever they have the chance. the egg hunt is so fun; it’s all over the tower which employees on other floors find so adorable as she and the gang make their way around all helping fill her big pink basket- at some point she asks steve to carry it bc it’s so fully of eggs lmao. she gets a big other basket full of goodies and little toys and things as well, and thor even dresses up like the easter bunny 😅 “it is i, the rabbit of easters” or something like that
