Human Trafficking and Grad School

I showed these two videos to my class today, because state law requires high school students to learn about human trafficking

And now I realize that my graduate advisor was labor trafficking me and everyone in that lab. And that his "retirement" and leaving for Australia was probably because people were starting to talk, and he wanted to get ahead of the law. And that a lot of professors, at a lot of schools, are engaging in modern slavery on a regular basis.

And that's fucked up.
